- If anybody is curious as to the dialogue of the second option. Also did anybody notice the incorrect grammar in the second option "She's cute baby" as opposed to "She's a cute baby."

I cant help but lie during the side quests im terrified to hear the characters break down with the reality of things
Interesting how she believes you lied even though you really told the truth.
It's almost like the majority of the choices involve actually lying not just to show Pinocchio's innate humanity, but to teach that truths function off context.
The truth hurts sometimes, and there are those that prefer to live under a comfortable lie if it means finding solace in dark times.

Fun fact, Pinocchio is the final boss. You don’t play as Pinocchio. If you look at the achievements, Nameless Puppet is called the First Puppet, which is what Pinocchio is. In the story, Pinocchio was the first puppet and was made to resemble Gepetto’s dead son as he grieved over him. You aren’t ever called Pinocchio, you’re referred to as “kind one”, “clever one”, and “Gepetto’s puppet”. There’s a theory that you’re the tin man but with the Broken Puppet in Barren Swamp, that theory passed me after I analyzed it since the Broken Puppet most likely refers to Tin Man. Still though, you aren’t Pinocchio, trust me, it tricked me at first too but Lies of P stands for Lies of Paracelsus. If you beat the game then you’ll know who I’m referring to. He also almost exposes himself when he first introduced himself in game. He has a greater plan of bringing together special being such as Gepetto’s puppet and as he mentions in the end, Dorothy… What his intentions are is another story and we do not know if he was like the other alchemists or not.

@@colorpg152 Well here's a counter-play...a world of only lies. Unless you're aware of that fact, truth is subjective to how you relay and interpret information. Hence why today we deal with misinformation and "half-truths" on the internet especially.

There is a side quest that is triggered if you tell the truth about a 9 fingered glove later on.
Wasnt sold on this game but the demo completely changed my mind more games need demos

Guessing by the game asking if pinocchio is human I can see two of the 3 options If you lie geppetto might use us as a scapegoat due to our lies and no one will believe us. Option two be honest and people will trust us and like this woman said although it's not the best option telling the truth is better than being viewed as untrustworthy and depending on how many times we lied and told the truth can result in a neutral or true ending.
You also get an additional reward for lying to her, a Vynyl Music, which gives you humanity when you use it in the hotel, whatever that actually does beyond the demo^^

@@mrnukes797 judging by the most recent trailer you might be onto the truth. The new trailer implies heavy consequences when people ask how many lies were told especially since it's Sophia asking pinocchio.

Tbh who would help her with a sane mind? Her family was right on trying to keep her away from her baby, considering she was infected and all. So i dont see a problem in lying.
I love how this entire game makes you feel more human for lying, but you know you've only extended someone's pain. Very few times does the truth secure a good ending, such as telling Alidoro to go to the hotel (we love our furry king 🤴)

Looks like the game reward you if you lie... I'd like to see in the full game if will be really a choice with trully consequences. the humanity you lose lying you recover hearing the (excellent) record
I mean every instance of lying is for the other person's own good to be fair. The game kinda drills in the whole "Truth hurts so sometimes it's okay to lie"
