Okay, but can we talk about Melone not being able to actually see what's going on the entire fight against an opponent he just met? Man's literally strategizing and adapting on the fly with only the data he's receiving via Junior.

onlycollect the pseudoscientific part is because of how baby face will act. Depending on the mother and her personality likes beliefs etc baby face will either listen more or be more aggressive and do it myself attitude which is why melone asks so many questions so he can understand how baby face will act. The characteristics also come into play on how baby face acts too if the mother is more aggressive he might attack more if she’s timid baby face might hesitate during some attacks or be doubtful of melone’s plan like the gasoline thing. In the manga it was explained and shown better but the anime kinda rushed it :/
I've seen a reimagining of the story but with LA squadra as the main gang, in it melone took risotto's blood and made a baby while teaching the word "protect" first, and it became this non chalant, kinda like giornos character, while still being relentless and badass at guarding trish
Melone was the most important member of La Squadra. Change my mind. He could've easily tracked down the boss. I wouldn't say he could beat him, but a Melone vs The Boss fight would've been cool.

@@colonfist Babyface is countered by any sort of AOE. Explosions, flames, anything that spreads will do well against it. Giorno actually wouldn’t even have won this had the bike not been in play. Stands like White Album, Magician’s Red, or Purple Haze would’ve been better suited to fighting this stand. For that reason, yeah, Diavolo straight up loses this matchup unless he gets creative, solely on the merit of not being able to hurt Babyface. But considering that it can be hurt from non-stand objects, Diavolo could use conventional weapons against it to good effect. Being the head of a gang, I’d expect he has no shortage of that.
I hate that they didn’t make Babyface Giorno’s Shadow, i thought that was really cool and actually makes him a whole lot scarier when he can look like one
I feel as though baby face is probably the one amazingly good stand that can be able to serve. well if used correctly and the user wasn’t weird and had a tendency to attempt to kidnap or deceive ladies. The potential is insane and scary the problem is the user kept training baby face to be hostile instead of grow up semi normal, so it kept adapting that way this could show that the user of baby face probably already had a stand. But needed a partner despite it being uniquely strong and having crazy development potential it’s kind of a shame how it worked out given the right people this stand could be crazy as it would be good and almost human like stuff like that.
