My 4 year old son tried pushing my 12inch Sundown subwoofer. The subwoofer throwed and bounced him 5 feet away
I really love the monster power
O
Great method, also 3M tape worked for me
Oo cool using tape to pop it back out? Fantastic idea! Thanks for sharing 😎💯
Applying heat was a great idea, my speakers were smaller so I just used tape to restore the basic shape. I covered the speakers with fabric anyway, but if they were exposed I would have used heat also 👍🏼
use self adhesive non slip furniture pads it’s strong enough to pop it back up and no residue left.
My 3year old son pushed dust caps in... 🥶.. this worked perfectly 😅.. Hopefully this video helps you out!! Sorry for Audio.. need to figure that out. 😊
Your video is great! I have the exact same speakers hadn’t been able to get the cone to pop back out with the vacuum cleaner. The key is the hot hairdryer. Very nice video!!
Thank you it works
You're welcome, I'm glad this worked out for you!😎👍
I found that if you get a blob of Blu Tack(the stuff we us for sticking posters to the bedroom wall) and squish it until it gets really soft, stick it to the dent, wait for it to cool down again, then gently pull on it, the cone pops back out again. sometimes takes a few goes on the trickier ones, but it worked for me.
Thank you for sharing your DIY tip for fixing dents using Blue Tack. It's a creative and cost-effective approach, and it's great to hear that it worked for you. 👍
@@tomiyourtradesguy6708 Thanks, it worked for me but it isnt perfect. Because I didnt warm up the cone like you have, it still has creases in it which dont look too great. My fix is just a simple trick to get rid of the main dent, but your way of doing it seems a lot more effective if you are looking at getting the speaker to look like new again.
My 4 yr old niece pushed it in. I sucked it up. sucked it right off the speaker! lmao but thats okay, I can use a touch of crazy glue and it will look new again. Thank you
🥶 oh noooo you have too good of a vacuum ... hopefully, your speaker is not the main focus of the room 😆. Supper glue can almost pach up anything. 😅 Marry Christian and happy holidays!!
Put tape on dust cap and its come properly
Ok
Try heat and then a vacuum
I hope my son doesn't do it again😅.. if he does it again... Brian than for shure I will try your advice to heat it up first to make plastic more moluble then vacuum. 😊😎👍
what and you think tape is somehow protecting the sub xDDD as if its making it stronger structurally while you try to fix it
Yes Braeden, that was idea behind it... Just to protect diaphragm from the dirty vacuum and reduce potential damage or scratches. Worked out good. 👍
@@tomiyourtradesguy6708 suppose that makes sense
Did your son really push them in or was you playing them to hard.
We just got these .. and I asked him why he did it.. his answer was " Cause mom was doing her nails" 🤣😄... it was hard to keep straight face and not LOL.. moment was priceless.. I'm glad that dust caps popped out easily enough.
😂
