IMPORTANT NOTE: You'll need to complete all house sequences before the Sunface Fragments will begin appearing. Check the house in the Echoing Ruins for any remaining house events. You will need to reset your run or die in order for the house to refresh with any remaining events. I had already completed all the house events by the time I started unlocking the ending, so I didn't realize that was a requirement to get things started.

Honestly, same here! You're the main reason I got the courage to take on those bosses. I finally beat the game last night...it was so awesome that last area gave me anxiety lol but I did. I got the fragment in the crimson wastes in a side area, within the 2nd "room" of the biome. It was a side area with swinging laser beams

So I found the first 3 fragments so far and am about to find the last three next. I do have a question though, what if you get to the last biome, pick up the last fragment, head to the boss and beat him, not knowing that you have to go to the house to pick up the keys before? Would you then pretty much have done the boss fight for nothing?
Seems a bit rough that you have to do biome 4-6 to get the last fragment just to go back to the house and do 4-6 all over again. I don't mind though, I freaking love this game to bits! And I thought I didn't have it in me to finish it when I started. It seemed so daunting and insurmountable. Now you just feel like a god going through it. 😁
Yea it's kinda weird that you have to go through a big chunk of Biome 6, get the fragment, then leave. Killing the boss again is inefficient at that point, so you may as well just restart.

Update on this, I found it at the very end before the abyssal key area.
@@Alias8686 what version, I was on version 1.0.0 and biome 5 fragment never appeared, I updated the game to 1.3.07 and it appeared in biom 5 vault room. So what version you were on when you find it the abysmal key area

Niceone good man much appreciated, quick question what bits of gear/skills carry overs.
Upon death, the only things that carry over are pieces of equipment, like the grappling hook, sword, etc. But any guns, artifacts, parasites, that all resets.

I got all the fragments collected,
I've seen the last house scene now.
i nearly done the game from start to finish yesterday,
I paused it on the the last stage on the last boss to get the dog feed,
Un-paused it.
got sloppy after that forgot I didn't have the atronaught figure and died a silly death I could of eailsy avoided.
So I didn't get to see the finale car scene .
I'll be doing that today .
Uhh I already did all housing stuff and beat the game.. yet the surface fragments aren't showing up
What a stroke of luck. I got all the sunface fragments straight from biome 1 through 5 and didn't get it in the Abyssal Scar. At least I get to start from biome 4.
I have done everything in this video and interacted with the car, after the credits i was sent back to Helios but i didnt get the trophy for act 3
A lot of people having been getting bugged trophies. Maybe try interacting w the car again?
I went to every one of these locations and didn't find any fragments. Cleared all house events and got the scout log. Some are saying that the locations are random though so I guess I'll keep searching.
Edit: nevermind. Looks like it was bugging out. Travelled back to the future then back to the past and they started appearing after that.
How do you travel to the past?
@@artvas9611 After you finish the game, go into the ship and the formerly locked door in the ship is now accessible. When you go in there it transports you to the past. If you go through again you jump back to the future.

so do you have to go over the whole game again from scratch to get the fragments or once you get each fragment you can die and the fragment will stay there with you?
You can bounce once you pick up a fragment.
Need help, I found 3 sun face fragments from Biome 1-3, but not able to find them in biome 4-6.
What to do now?
After beating the game the first time, I got dumped into Echoing Ruins. I found a new audio log and the house was available, but i didnt go in. Instead, I restart cycle and enter my ahip to go back to overgrown ruins from the cargo hold. Now, the house is not available and i found no fragments and searched all rooms. Only a datacube was at the end of the large gap. Do i need to go back to the Echoing Ruins biome 4!?
EDIT: yes. Dont skip the house.
FYI, you DO NOT have to complete the house segments, you HAVE to find each of the cubes before leaving the houses in order to start the fragments. There is one cube per house
Ohhhh is that a fact? I was wondering what those cubes were about. But what if you go through all the house sequences and don't pick up the cubes?

You can skip everything and find the fragments. Once they're in your inventory, they stay there forever.

Question : after I finish act 3 I'm not able to upgrade my health anymore, is that normal? I have to do free roam with only one bar...
That is not normal. It sounds like bad luck with drops. Maybe try resetting the run?
@@SweetJohnnyCage I reset the run, and next to my bar are three arrows showing that my health is at max. In previous run I upgrade health to max, couldn't do more and for some reason he carry that to next run even tho I have only 1 bar.

It's a shame you can't continue with the integrity and artifacts from Biome 3 to 4. Just cleared the boss from Biome 3, super easy the second time around btw, and nope. Shame, would make the collecting less boring.
im playing for 2 days now and it doesnt matter how many runs i do,i cant get the 2nd fragment room to spawn,it doesnt mater if its in the past or future ....nothing , i have all the others and i didnt even look for a guide. (and yes i clear every room 100%)

You can just run through. Once you get the car key, though, you'll want to feel powerful enough to take down Ophion.
If I died will I lose the sunface fragment ?
Nope! They're permanent inventory items.
I had 2 fragments and died. After respawning, I lost both fragments :(

Complete the game, then make sure you don't have any remaining house sequences. If you do, keep going through them and resetting your run until you have no more.

Is there a way I can see on the menu if I already collected the fragment for any of the six levels . I remember on top of head some that I grab but not everything I don’t wanna waste time looking for a fragment I already grabbed
Unfortunately, no. It only shows the total amount you've collected :(
My question exactly ty for asking it lol But as long as I know how many I have it will tell me which one's im missing. I should be missing 3 and I've gotten Echoing Ruins, Crimson Wastes and Overgrown Ruins quite quickly. Tried 3 restarts getting to the damn derelict citadel but no fragment spawn yet hahaha I was starting to get nervous
Went back to overgrown ruins and found the house again but no audio log. What did I miss?
I had to visit house again in biome 4 using machine then back to house in 1 to make fragments appear. Try that if still having trouble

Nothing. It's a permanent item.

I've had the house sequence in which you are a Kid before I finished the game. Found the audio log but still no sun fragments appear anywhere. Am I just screwed and need to restart my whole save? :(
There’s a few where you are a kid. Try going to biome 4 ‘s house and see if there is a sequence

Not sure if I missed something, but I just finished Act 2, went back to the house and got the audio log, and I'm 100% certain I went to both locations in Biomes 1 and 3, and the fragments weren't there at all. Also I've had issues finding glyphs that are supposed to be in specific locations, and the trophy for having 200 integrity didn't pop for me until a day or two after actually gaining 200 integrity. Definitely a frustrating experience when almost everything in this game is random. My only really complaint about the game is the Biome layout changing every time you die. It makes collecting everything way more time consuming, and tedious than it should be. Especially if you want every trophy in the game 😰
Try to go back to the house and see if you need to enter it again. You have to clear all the house sequences before the fragments spawn
@@oppressionsimulatorgotyedi9009 it's been a minute since I last played, but I think that was what I had to do. Ended up getting the platinum, and all Tower of Sisyphus trophies later that week ✊🏻

@@oppressionsimulatorgotyedi9009 oh shit dude that ones location popped up for me regularly. Did you try playing offline? Sometimes it's very well hidden, but I'm pretty sure it spawned for me every time I went there. Where I struggled was a cipher at the end of Biome 2 not showing up. The one where you can teleport to the end of the level, run backwards, and if one of those invisible glowy balls was in the air you knew you were in the right room lol and then a cipher in the Abyssal Scar took forever to show up. It was on the edge of a cliff to the left attached to a pedestal of some sort, and when I finally found it I almost died cause I was just running the Biomes as fast as possible 😭

Try restarting your run again. Might kick it into gear.

How do I get crimson waste again? It frozen every time I play through now
You'll have to beat the game to return there.
If you beat the game, use the machine in the cargo hold of your ship. This will bring you back to Overgrown Ruins, and then you can go to the Crimson Wastes from there.

I had the same room in the first biome and jumped across the platforms and there was no fragment, I checked every single room and nothing
Same here, I check the first biome room in the video twice and there was nothing there
@@tre2636 i worked out why, barely any video or article mentions this but you need to go back to the house in biome 4 after beating the final boss and get another house scene, then the fragments will always spawn
