the bottom line agreement was US intellectual properties trade for China's market, you can't take but not give nothing, so it's fair, also US companies in China made billions of dollars

​@@murphy2870 theoretically and objectively i am correct because there's statistics to be traced with, but what American companies do with the money they earned in China is up to the American leaders and law makers in varies sectors and of course the politicians, at the end of the day you could very well be betrayed by your own ppl , or there is no such a since as your own people, most ppl at the top doesn't have a sense of national identity they are multi nationals , they only care about money, Americans needs to evaluate their capitalism system which solely driven by money, or China will continue take advantage of the wall street loophole and control it , and since wall street controls the US and therefore China controls the world

Goldman Sachs has its own vested interests and may advocate policy contrary to the long term interests of the United States. Buffett has the adult view that trade has beneficial effect overall but there will be road kill in specific industries and the government will provide remediation for those industries. Also, competing interest between the largest economies will be there and to think otherwise is naive. Thanks to Buffett for his in the midst of alarmist media.

someone enlighten me. rich countries don't sell to poorer ones with a currency valuation less than ours, so how do we lose 500b in trade when we cannot produce the goods cheap enough to sell to china?

President Trump is trying to save US from going down under the ground even further. Unfortunately for way too many years that US past Presidents had fed the kitty to a tiger. It is not an easy task, it is not an overnight task, but it is definitely a move that needs to be taken......To secure US #1 world position.
It would be a lot much easier if our past Presidents had never been so carefree of protecting us. We should be glad that President Trump is taking the action now,
