- DUBLIN OLDSCHOOL tells the story of Jason, a wannabe DJ, on a drug-fuelled trip through the streets of Dublin as he stumbles from one session to another. Somewhere between the DJs, decks, and drug busts he stumbles across a familiar face from the past, his brother Daniel. Daniel, an educated heroin addict, is living on the streets. The brothers haven’t seen or spoken to each other in years but over a lost weekend they reconnect and reminisce over raves, tunes and their troubled past. Two brothers living very different lives might have more in common than they think.
Directed and co-written by Dave Tynan (Heartbreak, Just Sayin’) and starring Emmet Kirwan (’71, Heartbreak), Ian Lloyd Anderson (Love/Hate, Game of Thrones), Seana Kerslake (A Date for Mad Mary, Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope) and Sarah Greene (Noble, Rebellion).

Never any excuse for a man to take his top off in Dublin! So true. Energy rush just gives goose bumps, natural score for a great looking movie!

This the type of film that makes me not want to go on the session, shows mostly the worst time of a session the morning after, absolutely depressing film

I recognise the sound to my ear but I cant find the name of song after some searching, all I know is that if you went as far as contacting Milan records, they could surely tell you I'm sure if you contacted them via mail or Twitter or whatever else people use these days u will get your answer, I tried to find by ear but couldn't but also I would like to know the answer.... ty 😘

This looks really good
was pretty puzzled by this film. It was completely plotless with no real beginning or end. The sesh scenes were good craic but even calling it "OLD SCHOOL" was stupid as they were using iphones made no sense. Im a dublin lad and expected more from this.

Wasn't the worst irish film I've seen . Reminds me if a few sketchy mornings and sessions,
Ok the sound track and the drugs look amazing but this film does not try to imilate the scene back in the day, maybe this is 1 story is a story from the era, but the title is misleading from what people expect, dublin was the capital of oldskool clubbing back in the day, no other city can compare, london had it raves in fields far beyond but Dublin was the place to be, and only dublin folk knew of it... (for the most part) this was dublin oldskool. Think of Miami today but only dublin heads. That is what it was, the clubbing capital of the world in a poor shit country that know1 even knew about except those that were there. Unfortunately I was not one of them.
And the story doesn't stop there...

That should be pretty obvious.
And be jaysus was there a million and one stories from them days I know because I was there ,,,parties for days after the asylum closed in the morning and you didn't know where you'd find yourself in Dublin north side ,south side ,somewhere in town or sonewhere near the beach ......Best days of my life!

What the fuck is going on with those accents. If you want inner-city accents, get inner-city actors. Lads from Foxrock trying to put on scanger accents will never sound natural.
I left Dublin 42 years ago. When did Dubliners start saying "Alright?" in greeting? That was an English thing from when I emigrated. Admittedly, I've never heard anyone say it in real life, just in these faux-working-class Irish movies, and in Love/Hate.
