I have had one from new in 2018, then switched a few cars, bought another, sold it. Bought a GT3 911.2, bought another as a second car. Was given a G80 for the weekend. Still have the M4. Just such a great all round car and at todays prices... unbeatable if you keep them looking OEM.

Thanks very much for this video. I've had an e92 m3 for years. I love the sound it makes. The sound is the only thing that is stopping me changing it.
I'm pretty sure I will get the F82 but if I do, I know I'll miss that v8 howling.

Most of those I've never heard of failing. OTOH charge pipe crack. The charge cooler will leak. Popping off a charge pipe or J pipe isn't uncommon. ABS sensors and the edc accelerometers go occasionally. Aside from the overblown crank hub, none of the common stuff is expensive.

The only other thing I would mention and I was going to have mine done on my F82 M4.Turbos seem to go after a few years and this is due to mostly age and wear on their seals of them. So price into mind that you might have to change them if you are buying older M4 or M3.

I need help, I purchased a 2019 M4 with front corner damage, had only 18k miles, I fixed the car, replaced transmission cooler, topped transmission with oem fluid (4 its), drove the car and transmission or clutch slips on all even gears. Odd gears drives normal. So then I flushed the transmission and used ista to set adaptation and adaptation unsuccessful, says (values outside tolerance) "refer the clutch according to instructions". Can it be that the clutch wore out on all even gears only? Is there something I may be missing? Any help will do, I live in a 3rd world country and this car is not common here, not many professionals know how to work on these.

    • @ScottishCarClan

    • @kevinkalil6837

@@ScottishCarClan constant slippage on 2nd 4th and 6th. Right now when I move the car from one place to another I have to jumó from first to third because 2nd for instance I tap on the accelerator, it barely grabs. If I continue to accelerate on second it slips and then I get a transmission heat warning.
