This song changed my life. . . . I discovered the song ten years after it was released, but it still impacted me greatly.

@@Dan27105 I was in a bad marriage. The lyrics "Will you die never know what it's like outside???" were taunting me.They gave me the Bravery to realize all I had to do was step outside my cage. The passion behind them is still priceless.

Brave.... still moves me to tears Happens when you find the one, and she's broken.. Fish may have deeper lyrics, H still brings the emotion. I was worried when they split, but loved that I had 2X the joyful noise, after hearing Season's End and Vigil.

Already... only in the voice of Hogarth... there is...
    Love
    Peace
    Depth
    Joy
    Sun
    Sincerity
    Innocence
    Human heat
    Peace
But entirely in this Man... there is all that... everything I love… everything I have in me too !!!
When we have all this in himself/herself... we feel FREE !!! It's the best thing we can live... FREEDOM
Myriam Woman Light, without mask and without armor, without waiting and without any fear... from Geneva... and wherever the wind goes...

tihtih996 Yes, perhaps it was considered a bit too proggy for 1998 when the album got released and the album was also poorly promoted by their record company at that time. A song like 'Three Minute Boy' is still often performed live by Marillion and it 's better live with the interaction of the audience on the song than on the actual studio album.

@gowestward1 it's a simple answer...Mtv. They created the grunge scene, they made U2 and Bruce Springsteen into more than they ever should have been, then grabbed ahold of the rap scene, and pretty much minimized all real forms of music for ethnocentrism, and college radio ineptitude. Bands like Marillion and dream theater suffered because of this.

@penelopeat8pm Sorry P, there was nothing spontaneous or "organic' about the Grunge scene, it was a developed and cultivated scene. Mother Love Bone was the general impetus of the hippie/drug wannabe 60's esque grunge thing, and at the time, there were 3 bands in the Seattle Area doing the downtrodden, oversimplified music thing, MLB was the one to get noticed. Kurt Cobain was still playing Hair metal when Andy overdosed for the first time, and Eddie Vedder wa a VJ in training at MtV

I don't understand why marillion & Fish never get proper media attention. They are both superb artists. Something with American media outlets..too corporate driven. The "Suits" decide what we should listen to. In other words, no money can be made on anything that dosen't follow a certain musical formula. U2, for example are very overrated, yet they are a cash cow for the corporate music scene...living off the name rather than the music.
