• VCV RACK
A physical modeling synthesizer simulates the acoustic properties of real instruments such as vibrating strings, resonating tubes, and struck surfaces.
VCV Pluck uses DSP algorithms to model physical instruments with an intuitive interface to perform and fine-tune the sound. Musicians and sound designers can use this module to create familiar sounds or explore novel sounds beyond acoustic instruments.

Very nice Tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks
Great stuff! It’s like Rings on steroids
Great thanks
I was just about to ask the same question about MiRack. This sounds amazing. I wish I had more time like I used to playing around with modular racks. Thank you for the demo!😊
You are welcome
Try plateau from Valley for a nice spacey plate style algorithmic reverb. The VCV reverb is decent for small rooms but not quite a black hole for big pads.
👍👍
One thing you didn't do in this demo was modulate anything, that's essential with modular! I bought this yesterday and wasn't impressed immediately, but once you modulate a few parameters it really comes alive. It also needs loads of effects, then it sounds great!
I am glad you find it sounds great, that is the most important thing; I will include at least a modulation example moving forward on VCV Rack videos :) thank you
Leo, I was just literally thinking about VCV Rack. If only we had for iOS so I could try. Your thoughts on VCV Rack vs MiRack. VCV looks to be more popular because it’s desktop and has more downloads. I thought VCV was free. I guess they have a Pro version.
Yes they have a pro version which you need to pay for. MiRack is fine but VCV Rack has a larger library. It works quite well but you need the pro to run as a plugin. This new pluck synth is so good with morphing capabilities…
