I'm sorry guys, but this movie for me felt unpleasant, boring, unfunny, batshit insane (the turtle scene where he bit a guys nose off), and every time Dana Carvey was on, I wanted to hit slap that dumbass smile off his face.
Honestly it was underrated because it was way before its time. This is the kind of stuff that would’ve thrived on social media - memes and gifs galore. Dumb silly humor is “in” now, it wasn’t as much then. If this movie was coming out today, it would’ve been received so differently. The guy honestly deserves an Oscar for this. It’s pure talent tying dozens of spot-on impressions into one movie, all done by the same actor. He’s incredible. This is incredibly underrated!
