Why is Vitamin D used in rat poison? I take it daily but when I found it is used in rat poison it concerns me. Can you provide any information on how that works? Is it really safe?
Hi Thomas , my name is Vera I want to thank you for the time you spend investigating the way our vitamins work in our body and foods . I have enjoyed all your videos and I am feeling better today in my 58 years then I felt in my younger years , I thank you for this. The only thing I am struggling with now is when to drink my smoothies , eat my meals , I get hungry later in the evenings , I can’t figure the right way to schedule my whole day as to my meals . Thank you, hello to your family .
I'm just impressed how Thomas can read all the stuff and understand almost all of them. It goes to show how much he reads on a regular basis. Hope Thomas ends up having his own scientific lab, his research and experiments. That would be a dream come true.
I understand that Thomas is not a medically trained scientist, but Damn he does know so very much and although he gets a little technical at times, I love his knowledge and all he has to offer. Now don't get me wrong he does this for our health but he needs to make a living the same as all of you. So don't be a hater if he is endorsing one of his own supplement or product companies. Listen to what he has to say, take notes and do your own research. Because he knows what he is talking about. Thank You Thomas....

Glad to see the Hawaiian astaxanthin there. One study said, "Here, we used C. elegans to study the molecular basis of the anti-aging effects of astaxanthin consumed by various organisms. Our results show that Astaxanthin extends C. elegans lifespan by 20%-40%. The effects on the lifespan seem specific to Astaxanthin, as other carotenoids tested here, including Zeaxanthin and Lycopene had no lifespan extension effects." If your FOX03 gene is active, you are three times more likely to live to be 100 years old. Astaxanthin activates the FOX03 gene, which lies dormant in 2/3rds of people. In one study, astaxanthin increased the activity of the FOX03 gene by 90% above the control group.

Hi Thomas thank you for such great information! Question, I've heard zinc plays a role in restful sleep along with mag. and calcium what type of zinc would you recommend and should it be taken in the morning or evening? Thanks!
Thanks for the video Thomas. Sprouts has a pretty interesting selection of omega 3 supplements. I would love to see you break down the different sources and forms.
I take the bioastin from Costco ! Love it ! Helps with the pain in my joints so much ! Lately it’s been on sale $15.00 off so stock up when that happens !
That’s the one we just bought, but apparently you want b12 in the form of Methylcobalamin VS Cyanocobalamin. Still good, but I think it goes through extra conversion process with the Cyano. Oh, & preferably Whole Foods version , not synthetic.. from what I have learned through Thomas & Dr Berg.
Mr. Thomas Delauder, thank you so much for the videos. I just turn 60 years old. I started KETO two-three months ago. I was 192 lbs. I weight now 169 LBS. KETO/Plus exercises. What vitamins should I take?

Mahalo for your informative videos. The BioAstin is on sale at my Costco in Honolulu. It's $15 off so costs $34.99. I've been taking it for years so of course I'm stocking up on it at that price! Aloha Thomas!
In regards to B-12 forms Methtlycobalamin and Cyanocobalamin. I agree, Methtlycobalamin is the preferred form. In regards to a breakdown for price for dosage when comparing 5,000 Mcg to 2,500 Mcg, I can see your point if one needs 5,000 Mcg's of B-12. However, I don't see buying Vitamin B-12 like one is buying flour, to compare per ounce or lbs pricing. Not everyone that needs or wants to take Vitamin B-12 needs or should take 5,000 Mcg's, and if one not does not, one should not purchase the 5,000 Mcg of Vitamin B-12 just to save money. In this case as 2,500 MCG's dosage or even a lower dosage as a supplement may be (more) beneficial than a higher dosage.
Great one love it. I would love to see a video of just the main supplements we should be taking right now to help us with winter and covid. I know that we need other combination like eating right etc. And most of all the best times to take it morning or evening. Thank you. BTW that is good information. Thanks again
You forgot to mention that some of the fish oils are ethyl esterified fats. I personally believe the natural triglyceride form of fats are healthier. I take the Alaskan Salmon oil that you bought. its cold pressed and you can tell by the color it has the astaxanthin red orange pigment antioxidant derived from algae and crustaceans eaten by the salmon and the bottle is UV protecting. I kinda wish it was refrigerated too because heat accelerates oxidation.
Hey thomas, do you think you can do a series on what supplements people should take based on their age (younger people have less budget but have less need for extra nutrients, while the older people have more need for them but with higher budget)? I am in my mid twenties and i am willing to spend between $30-50 on supplements/protein per month. Since supplements lasts few months, I think it would be interesting to see what are the best supplements to buy with $120-200 budget that would last me 4 months. Thank you for the videos that you put out!
6:40 - I kinda don't like the idea of buying astaxanthin that uses these crappy oils, in this case SAFFLOWER. There are some brands that don't put this in the ingredient list. The "Sports Research" brand puts Astaxanthin (Icelandic Astalíf), from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae, 12 mg per liquid softgel, and in the OTHER INGREDIENTS they say this: Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Natural Tocopherols, Softgel Capsule (Kosher Gelatin, Non-GMO Vegetable Glycerin, Purified Water. They sell in 6 mg capsules or 12 mg. This looks like a better choice for me. I also found another brand called ALGALIFE, that for each capsule says the following: Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol): 3 IU and Natural Astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis): 12 mg. The problem here is that they put in OTHER INGREDIENTS sunflower oil, fish gelatin, glycerin and water. Then, a 3rd brand is called "Pure Encapsulations". They say each softgel capsule has 4 mg of Astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae, and in OTHER INGREDIENTS list all of this: extra virgin olive oil, gelatin capsule (gelatin, glycerin and water). Sounds great, right? It could be, if not for the fact it's very expensive. 73 dollars for a 4 month supply. Still, that proves it's possible to manufacture Astaxanthin and don't use bad oils.
BTW, Now Foods has problems with their Astaxanthin, too. Their 3 month supply bottle has 4 mg of Natural Astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis Extract). It has these ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Softgel Capsule (gelatin, water, glycerin) and Vitamin E (as natural d-alpha tocopherol). Contains refined soy oil (non-GMO). And their veggie softgels is even worse: same 4 mg of ASTX, and Other ingredients: Vegetarian Softgel Capsule (modified corn starch, glycerin, carrageenan, water), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Mixed Tocopherols and Rosemary Leaf Extract. Natural Mixed tocopherols from non-GMO soy.
I commented on your Walmart vitamin video where you were checking out Spring Valley brand. I had read where that brand had low rating & Nature Made was a much better product. You are pointing out where/why it isn't. Thank you - I will be going to my Vitamin Shoppe to buy my all supplements instead of just the hard to find. Keep on researching & explaining.
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful. Would you do a video on the best time to take probiotics....i have always heard to take it before I eat but why? Also, are prebiotics really necessary? What foods contain prebiotics? Should probiotic supplements be stored in the fridge for longevity? Thank you Thomas for any insight you can share. Great work.
I enjoyed this video too. Please do more in other stores too. Also Mg is such a mystery. I do not know what kind to take and what to look for in the ones in the stores. Another thing I am interested in getting more information is probiotic supplements. It would be nice to have information on that too. I appreciate all your efforts. I like the low carb stuff but have struggled trying keto any recommendations would be welcomed. Stay safe out there😊
I understand you showing not to buy due to wrong form of the vitamin or mineral, but could you do a video, or series of videos, showing the best forms of each vitamin or mineral? Also, which to take together, which to take in the morning, which to take at night, etc. And/or work with one of the manufacturers to come up with formulas that work best with each other.
Thomas I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for all the great information and for all the effort you put on your videos. You are the best!
Did I miss anything about gummy vitamins? I’m assuming that’ll mess up a keto lifestyle but what if you’re not keto? Hubby prefers the gummy vitamins so I figure those in multi, magnesium omega etc are better nothing at all...
Gummies are pure sugar generally the first ingredient is glucose syrup and the second is corn syrup ,high fructose corn syrup ,cane sugar ,. Gummies are a gimmick and not healthy nor helpful. He didn’t say all of that but he said no lol I just explained why. Also look for filler free supplements if you’re spending your hard earned money, expect the products to not contain a bunch of extra unhealthy crap.
Love your videos....Next video suggestion ... what are all the possible daily supplements that a woman should take? Including protein whole and supplemental ? Creatine? Pre-workout/amino acids ? thank you
Thank you. This is a very helpful video. There are so many different recommended supplements. I get overwhelmed. I would really benefit from a video which outlines exactly which ones are essential, when doing IF and OMAD, together with the dosage. I realize it can vary for different persons. Can you do one video for women? I really value your opinion
Have you considered doing a video on Sprouts? I tend to get most of my vitamin/supplements there and would be interested to hear your thoughts. Keep up the good work!

So I and my husband currently take vitamin C, D3, and Zinc to keep our immune system strong during these crazy times. Would the Super C you showed here on the video be a good supplement to take as one supplement instead of taking them all separately? or what would you suggest as the best all-around Immune support supplement.

I watch all of your videos, they help me with my keto diet! I was hoping for suggestions on how to get the Benefits of fish oil some other way (by diet or supplements) I am allergic to fish and shellfish. I am always wondering if I am missing out on the benefits of fish oil (omega 3 and anti inflammatory benefits) I also suffer from an autoimmune Disease so anti inflammatory benefits are important to me.

Idk about anyone else, but for a lot of viewers, myself included... I can tell ya', it isn't about the inclusion itself... but the (usually for far too many, 100% EXCLUDED) disclosing of. There are certain ways transparency has to be shown, specific wording, placement, etc.. in order to protect consumer rights. Plus, shows the creator as up-front, honest, crystal clear. That said, as required... just pls be sure to clearly STATE "sponsored by" .... before or around your initial read & any that follow, in video.
Their 3 month supply bottle has 4 mg of Natural Astaxanthin
(from Haematococcus pluvialis Extract). It has these ingredients: Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Softgel Capsule (gelatin, water, glycerin) and Vitamin E (as natural d-alpha tocopherol). Contains refined soy oil (non-GMO). And their veggie softgels is even worse: same 4 mg of ASTX, and Other ingredients: Vegetarian Softgel Capsule (modified corn starch, glycerin, carrageenan, water), Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Mixed Tocopherols and Rosemary Leaf Extract. Natural Mixed tocopherols from non-GMO soy.
Cyanocobalamin has to be converted to methylcobalamin for the body to utilize it
I commented on your Walmart vitamin video where you were checking out Spring Valley brand.
Great work.
Hello Thomas, thanks for all the input I have received from your videos. It has tremendously helped me. Is there a multivitamin you would recommend?
I enjoyed this video too. Please do more in other stores too. Also Mg is such a mystery. I do not know what kind to take and what to look for in the ones in the stores. Another thing I am interested in getting more information is probiotic supplements. It would be nice to have information on that too. I appreciate all your efforts. Please be safe and waiting for more information laden videos.
I would love to see you do a video on how many carbs and what kind of carbs takes you out of a ketosis. Love your videos.
Hi Thomas. Thanks for your videos. I'm learning a lot. A family member has some Cirrhosis from years of NAFLD. Would any of these supplements be harmful to an already cirrhotic liver? Thanks!
I just watched part 1 and part 2. You put out some very good information. What about multi vitamins. I am 55 and looking to take a good multi vitamin, but I really don't know which one to take. Which do you recommend? I'm looking for a cost effect version, but good for me with no junk in it. Great video!
Thomas i would love to know your thoughts on sea moss. Im vegetarian keto and want to be sure im getting everything i need. Ive been learning about sea moss and hearing its awesome but i didnt find any videos on it on your channel so wanted to know your thoughts! wouldnt that replace all these things you are talking about in this video and also replace the need for seaweed?

Can you do a video on vitamin shop ?
What’s worth the money with their brand.
Love your channel!!
Perfect timing. Headed to Costco in an hour:)
Thank you for the 2 great info videos on vitamins and supplements!
I love the videos, so much great information. Thank you! Do you have any recommendations on joint health vitamins?
What's the role of molybdenum in our bodies? I had my blood tested recently and it was close to 0.
Dr. Berg did 2 videos about Molybdenum, check them out: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=molybdenum+eric+berg
Please make a video on carb blockers. Are they effective? Can you test your blood sugar levels while eating a high-carb meal with carb blockers?
I have had back pain and leg pain as well as pain palm in leg! I have long standing hours job so what should i take B12 or Multivitamin?
Can you re-cap those essential Vitamin & Minerals we need to take everyday?
Take notepad, hit pause, write down notes, hit start ... lather, rinse, repeat. Post results, you will be a King.
@@umayaswellcallmejesus1489 thx for your feedback. I’ll need to make vitamin adjustments.
Can you do a kids/teens vitamin video?
Love your videos....Next video suggestion ... what are all the possible daily supplements that a woman should take? Including protein whole and supplemental ? Creatine? Pre-workout/amino acids ? thank you
What vitamin and mineral should I take every day ? I m over 40 and need something for arthritis knees what you think will be good? Thank you.
Thank you. This is a very helpful video. There are so many different recommended supplements. I get overwhelmed. I would really benefit from a video which outlines exactly which ones are essential, when doing IF and OMAD, together with the dosage. I realize it can vary for different persons. Can you do one video for women? I really value your opinion
Hey Thomas. What are your thoughts on the “Juce” fruit and veggies powder from Costco? Is it a good product for the price?
Hello. Would be great if you can do a video on best vitamins and minerals and best places to buy rather than to a specific store. Thanks
10:27 🍊🍊🍊 Vitamin C
So it's a no to the first one and an OK to the second one?
Great awareness thomas! I am always really fascinated about MTOR peice and muscle building criteria!plzz focus more on that side also !!
Vitamin B12 is not naturally present in non fortified nutritional yeast. Fortified ones normally have synthetic B12.
What’s wrong with the multi-vitamins. I was told by a doc to take the prenatal ones bc the regular ones don’t have enough.
They are one size fits all. Have too much of things most people dont need and not enough of what most people need.
Hi Thomas, i didnt see the kirkland signature daily multi review. Is it a good choice of vitamins for daily intake? Thanks
Have you considered doing a video on Sprouts? I tend to get most of my vitamin/supplements there and would be interested to hear your thoughts. Keep up the good work!
Can you discuss the MTHFR gene variant and what can be done to lesson the effects? Thanks 😊
Thank you I really appreciate part 1 and part 2 on this. I wish you would have been able to have time to touch on vitamin B1. I do get mine at Costco however I'm not quite sure it really is the right thing.
Where do you recommend to buy our D3 + K2?
Totally enjoy your videos... would love it if you could discuss the cure for sugar cravings that comes from too much candida/thrush and how to properly restore your gut microbiome in a way that gets those cravings under control!
Where and what was the magnesium suppliment? Also without minerals you do not absorb vitamins, is this correct?
What kind of Magnesium do you Use? Most are mag oxide. Was researching my daughters migraines...they said Mag oxide is ineffective for Migraines. They said to try Mag Maleate. Whats Best for sleep and more importantly her headaches.. She also has Biotionodase deficiency. A genentic disorder found on the PKU genetic tests at Birth. She takes 10 mg a day...10,000 mcg.s day. She eats poorly...lm trying to help her change her life. Shes just 17. And she's suffering pain. Any other recommendations. Thanks and God Bless.
Do you have a list of vitamins/supplements for specific brands that you take?
On the thumbnail, there's a picture of Kirkland's Daily Multi, but on the video it seemed it was not discussed.
So I and my husband currently take vitamin C, D3, and Zinc to keep our immune system strong during these crazy times. Would the Super C you showed here on the video be a good supplement to take as one supplement instead of taking them all separately? or what would you suggest as the best all-around Immune support supplement.
Please talk to us about ketogenic diet and seizure disorders. I would trust your input

Hi, Thomas I really appreciate your videos they have helped with my Parkinson’s disease symptoms. But I have a difficult time swallowing pills, can you recommend a liquid fish oil for omega-3 thank you very much
I watch all of your videos, they help me with my keto diet!
Vegetarian omega 3 sources like flax, avocado, chia, and hemp
I am allergic too. I took algal dha while pregnant, not sure if it is beneficial.
Thomas, what is the best type of Vitamin C to be taking? I'm thinking acerola cherries and should it be Liposomal?
How about the best supplement source for Omega 3's, I'm doing the Barleans Omega fruit cream liquid.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! & for talking at 1.25x speed . Helps my adhd brain follow along
Really enjoy all your videos, thanks for sharing! Having heard you mentioning how some give you a hard time about 'sponsored content' in general... Below, pls place that disclosure you have ABOVE the initial link at the top. Great info on supplements and proper way of taking for best benefit. Thanks!
How come you don't talk about the fillers and flow agents?
Video ideas: vitamins/minerals for men/women on keto.
Aimee, As long as you follow his advice on checking labels for any sugar additives. And remember these come in many camouflaged forms. I have been in ketosis thru diet changes for over 2 years now. I have found many supplements that help, with hunger, fat metabolism, alertness and muscle growth. And none of these effect my ketosis journey. Good Luck on your new found health.
@@jeffadams5413 Which supplements have helped your hunger, fat metabolism, and alertness?
hello, is there just an affiliate list where I can buy all the vitamins and minerals you personally take? I feel that my body needs this and ill pay whatever it take

hi mate, how does kirkland multivatims compare to others? is it good?
I would like some suggestions on vitamins for your skin, hair and nails. Thanks
Biotin. My daughter takes it because she has Biotionodase Deficiency Disease...a Genetic Disorder discovered at Birth. But hair, skin and nails grow well with Biotin. She takes 10 mg daily...which is 10 thou mcgs. Its water soluble so you can not overdose on it. But lm sure theres a few others vitamins that work synergistically, with it. But Biotin is the main one. God Bless.
