getting nothing from killing Transient feels wrong
true, but it's probably better that it doesn't or decks with painfully slow infinites would spend half their run there lol.
I would love a cosmetic change from it not that I've done it more than twice
Thread and needle also used to give 5 block, which is a meaningful breakpoint against sentries notably.
Timestamps for when Jorbs picks up the cards in the thumbnail (Pommel Strike and Armaments):
Armaments: (8:02)
Pommel Strike (#1): (15:26)
double egg act 1 is the real apotheosis
Are you saying the real apotheosis is the eggs we found along the way?
16:29 was not a rounding error, Strike + 3 strength + weak + vulnerable = (6 + 3) x 0.75 * 1.50 = 10.125 = 10
That's just like, your math, man.
Amazing RNG, I've never seen BOTH Armaments and Pommel Strike in the same run 🤯 easy gg
I’m not sure how that’s possible as they are both common cards
@@tclfan0180yes that was the joke
@@fluffykitty2340 oh no, I’ve become one of…. Those people
What I've learned watching pros playing this game? I'm only learned that I don't know shit how to play sts, even when I've just reached A20 runs :(
I fucking love Iron Wave
Not called iron strike, unusable -10/100.
Yesterday I finished my first run and unlocked the watcher.
Watching your videos definitely helped getting to know what to look for. Thanks for that.
Right on time for bed!

There is a pretty exhaustive single player mod for Slay the Spire that changes it to follow the boardgame mechanics. Not quite the same as a Steam release, but it's sort of part of the way there.
That block engine in Act 4 was really cool. Rage and Abacus popping off
