    So, Ray Charles is a great man. Being blind, he was just playing whatever was on his mind. It was amazing. If I was alive to see his concerts, I would have. Even if my parents said no (because of segregation).

    • @HDpiano
      @HDpiano  4 года назад +4

      Indeed!

    • @malcumx5933
      @malcumx5933 4 года назад +2

      Segregation will not be the reason why your white parents would tell you you cannot go to a concert with Ray Charles is playing instead that would be because of the hatred that your parents have for black people.

    Great teaching method, best clarity than the others. Binned them. Only one advise. When you play at a slow tempo can you please do so for several more bars. This will save me from having keep back editing to my beginner tempo. All the other stuff you teach brilliantly. Thanks a million.

    I want to ask just how in the world did Ray Charles teach himself to be able to create something like this especially in blind but I remember reading that he went to school for this still it is absolutely amazing.
    And thank you so much for sharing with us what you have learned.

    • @HDpiano
      @HDpiano  4 года назад

      Piano lends itself to tactile-learning. That, along with a great ear and one-of-a-kind musical vision (so to speak), all came into play for Ray, I'm sure!
