I watched this first on the streamer really late at night. I had to shut it off halfway and finished the next morning. I started looking at the shadows differently that night 😂.
Yooo love u guys been waiting so long for season 2 im out of job rn cant buy it on ur site to see early so im very thankful for u guys that u didnt stop puting it on yt! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Honestly, if these haunted houses were set up as a historical house rather than a spooky house that would be so much more spooky, set up like a halloween haunted house, just makes the haunting aspect less serious.
Yea while i dont believe in ghosts at all, theres a big difference in like an abandoned mental asylum and a house with cute lil signs telling you what ghost/demon you're supposed to see like its a disney dark ride.
It's definitely scarier if it's not supposed to be scary but ends up being scary. Could be a great timed escape game situation where you're with a guide giving you a tour of the house but then they disappear, leaving you and your group to get out of the locked rooms by yourself... Could add spooky noises and situations as the game progresses!
This is the first time in quite a while where Ryan seemed legit scared on an investigation and it brings me so much joy to know that the old Ryan is still there.
@@watcheryou guys should of looked at the roof outside to see what was up there. I think Shane maybe on to something about a bird hitting it or landing on it.
@@toddwarring9782lol yeah you keep telling yourself that. We all heard the voices. My house is over 100 years old. No bumps. No creaks. No voices or loud growls. Complete baloney. Houses don't just make sounds by themselves. It's a house. Things do not just move and make noise on it's own.Hogwash.
This is honestly the first time since Buzzfeed Unsolved that you guys have managed to fully re-capture that magic from those days. Ryan actually being sacred again. Shane’s shenanigans (especially with Shane forcing Ryan to do monologue about his balls, I was cry laughing). This episode was top tier stuff. You guys are so back, congrats and keep it up.
They probably had some-kind-of agreement with Buzzfeed not to make ghost hunting content on the Watcher for a period of time, otherwise Buzzfeed can sue them. 🤷🏻♀️
@@maggieandersen460 yes, but it wasn’t quite the same as Buzzfeed’s videos, THIS video feels very similar to what they were originally doing. That is why people in the comments are excited to see.
We just gonna all pretend their money grab scheme of “leaving RUclips” (announcement whatever u call it) didn’t happen? Did they ever even acknowledge that 😂😂😂?
@@wagz420 I mean saying its money grab is a bit much, I think they just wanted to bring better quality to the videos. The community was quick to respond and say that is not what they came for. So they decided to not do that. People make mistakes, I really doubt they did it for money.
I know right?! This whole house is giving haunted house attraction vibes it's hilarious. (Not to discredit anyone's beliefs or experiences) but it's really funny.
@@JosephDavies I sometimes wonder if these places fabricate evidence for hype. Like, if they plant things around the house that make noises or have speakers or something. Chances are, they probably dont, but...I dont know since some places really try to play off their haunted house selfclaim.
Fun fact about the Crazy Water - it contains lithium. Some people did experience a reduction of psychatric symptoms if they drank water from those wells. If they were Bipolar. You can actually still buy Crazy Water at grocery stores in Texas. They sell it in different concentrations but none of them have enough lithium to actually have a theraputic effect.
I absolutely love how Ryan is scared to specifically give his address out, as if the demon is going to be able to locate him with google maps or something 😂
@@Iffondrel Demons don’t exist so I’m pretty sure nothing will happen. Even if they do that Ghost Adventures guy gets “possessed” every other episode and he seems fine!
Honestly, what I love about Ryan’s approach to his solo investigations is the aggression as a means of both warding away spirits AND inviting spirits to mess with him. It reminds me of a lot of the “paranormal” videos that come out of Asia, specifically Japan. When confronted with things that scare them, they start cursing at and insulting the phenomenon, whilst running through the area like madmen. Great stuff.
Agreed!! Paranormal middle-eastern (Arabia etc.) investigations are quite something too! Whenever they encounter something which scare them, they just face the "danger" head on and kicking in doors while praying.
I feel like this is a place shane really enjoyed for how much shit happened, like usually there’s only one or two big things that still have a pretty strong reasonable explanation but this time there’s like four or five instances of something that would take a lot more investigating to work out what happened there, i really loved this episode as a shaniac especially bc mr bergooze was absolutely horrified LMAO
The only thing is the fact he couldn’t say for sure what was making the noise people are gonna say that is evidence of a ghost. It’s not. It’s just an unexplained noise.
I think this is what made it an actual spooky episode. Normally Shane calms everything down by finding the source of the noise but this time he didn't/couldn't so the fear kept ramping up for Ryan and the Boogara's.
@@toddwarring9782 we literally have the most skeptical person with Shane and even HE didn't know what those noises were when usually he's going crazy trying to debunk it. I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in demons especially if they were summoned through rituals like here. I think these are the best pieces of evidence we have from the show
I do not believe in ghosts but I do think it’s very sweet that when Ryan believes he’s communicating with child spirits he tries to comfort them and acknowledges that you might be scared of a shouting adult man if you were a kid ghost.
as always i really really appreciate how respectful you guys were around the tragedy with the disabled boy and his mother on the stairs, the fact that neither of you made any jokes or anything like that and instead treated the incident with seriousness and sincerity really speaks volumes about you both
I really appreciate that they acknowledged it was fucked up what happened to Joshua when they saw his room. There are so many disabled kids that are abused and killed by their families just like this, even today. Theres great evil in that house just in the actions done to him alone.
@@EmpressoftheLoneIslandsthey’ve said in other videos that the heart rate monitor didn’t work or didn’t register on Shane a lot of the time. another tick in the evidence column for Shane being a demon 🤔👹
i was really devastated when i knew that buzzfeed unsolved with ryan and shane was discontinued, and after years! i discovered this 😭im so happyyy thank you for coming back
i genuinely hate the people who set up this house like a sick theme park. they are the ONLY downside of this episode. kudos to the boys for enduring it.
I was thinking the same thing. It was mentioned in the beginning they didn't even want to spend a single night. Those people definitely bought this place to make money off it as a haunted place.
Yeah, even if they haven’t rigged anything like speakers etc it’s still honestly super distasteful to put a plastic brain and gun in a bathroom where there was allegedly a murder suicide. It just makes me feel like the evidence is more suspect when they set dress like this.
@@emmagrace289it’s definitely a sign they’re eager to be theatrical, which ups the odds they’re the type to rig creepy occurrences to freak out people who paid for an experience
@@kristennoelle9447I reserved throwing my hands up until Ryan’s investigation honestly. So over the top. Also the robot programmed to song a spooky song that they admit to not being able to figure out how to activate. One of the sounds was also immediately preceded by a clearly electronic beep that was even pointed out by Ryan, but didn’t take it as a “hey maybe all these (let’s be real, borderline too good to be true) pieces of evidence back to back to back in an unprecedented display in all my time ghost hunting are coming from recorders, as indicated by the clearly electronic beep.” To be clear, I do not think watcher was faking this, I do not blame Ryan at all despite my joking comment, I do at this point hold the opinion that a decent bit of stuff here is staged. There’s profit incentive and motive for the property owners who never lived in the house to make this crazy so the video blows up.
first of all, love the hats, second of all, love the little holy water gun, third of all, I'm really happy and grateful that the team has responded to feedback. There's much less time spent on fancy graphics and explaining the tools and more time exploring, and the different challenges every episode are more entertaining than the 'find the walkie' game from the last season. Great job ghoul boys
I don't know, I quite liked the find the walkie talkie game (though I would've preferred that they allowed Shane to tell Ryan a fake location like what he did in the very first episode because that was the funniest thing to happen to Ryan) though the challenges game is also entertaining
@@TheRedSoulofDT honestly a fun gimmick each season isn't abnormal for shows so as long as its entertaining i don't care what or fi there is a gimmick but i get why they would swap it up lol
Gotta admit, I love the first person shooter perspective on parts of Ryan's solo section. The gun just adds a lil something something to the whole experience.
I'm so glad you minimized/took out fan evidence. While I liked that you were trying to include more of the audience, it definitely took away from any of the "legitimacy" of the investigations you did. So excited for this season!
Sure, but I hate that the evidence from themselves is now a blip lost in a long video about fan art and Q&A. They could do deep down dives, show us more footage, give more raw evidence.. but, they keep trying to force filler over substance now.
I’m so happy the team listened to feedback and responded in such a magnificent manner. It feels much more authentic than the previous Ghost Files eps and it’s much more interesting. Good job ghouls
If I had a nickel for every time Shane has knocked a ventriloquist dummies head off I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right?
As a Boogara I definitely agree with Ryan on not doing that first challenge. Inviting spirits/demonic energies to follow you is how you get attachments you can’t get rid of.
maybe for the postmortem/debrief but i thought it was kind of interesting how @ 19:34 the ovulis says ‘hunt’, then a few seconds pass and it says ‘hunt later,’ and then @ 36:25 (right after the huge thud) it says ‘hunting.’ maybe this was toby letting them know the hunt had officially begun? super great episode!! we are so back!
I thought it was interesting when Shane went on his solo investigation and he turned in the ovulis it said Salvation and then birds. Did a ghost hear him blame the thud sound on birds?
No one in my physical world life shares my appreciation for Ryan and Shayne so I’m really thankful for every one of the watcher people who understand why I think they’re hilarious
I think that some of them already had such high adrenaline that when they scratched themselves on some old wooden doorframes they didn't feel it happen, just noticed the marks later. From there the liars latched on and the myth grew.
No, it's not. People who just blindly discredit everything are just as naive as people who believe everything. The truth is that some people really do get scratched, just like sometimes objects really do get thrown around or people get touched their hair pulled etc etc etc. However because these things are so interesting and get so much attention it results in countless fakers who are trying to capitalize on it as well. Then the fakers just drown out most of the real stuff. But it is a very real thing that happens.
34:38 I'm obsessed with the fact that Shane just laughs whenever something extremely unexplainable happens and might just be like an anxiety or like an uncomfortable thing that he does like he laughs when he's uncomfortable but it just cracks me up😂
I used the think that but now I think he mostly laughs at Ryans reaction, I think he is so confident in the fact ghosts don't exist he just enjoys hanging out and scaring his friend.
I don't know if its just me but this episode is definitely giving more Unsolved vibes which im REALLY happy about, I missed that type of feeling. The older Files eps were too production-ee.
I AGREE! i also notice how there's only one audience evidence here and it's a good one, whereas on the previous episodes it felt like they were keeping a submission quota so there were some evidences that felt fabricated that were included, and it broke the immersion for me. (it helped that ryan only succinctly describes the evidence background instead of the subscriber telling a whole series of events.)
*For the postmortem* did anyone notice that when the light turns green it meant that Joshua was telling you to leave? A few minutes before at 35:26 Ryan says “green for go,red for stay.” He made you beg, then told you to gtfo. Joshua is an icon
@@watcher ngl my immediate thought upon seeing that you'd responded to this was what if it's just a comment that says "This is Ryan - Ryan" God after typing that Ryan doesn't even look like a real word to me rn 🤣
I love how they haven’t changed one bit since they started this on buzzfeed in like 2016 bc i watched them religiously and love the humor they have while being scared 😭
i felt so awful hearing what happened to joshua, even worse hearing his mom was murdered for trying to save him. i hope jacob, joshua, and sarah's souls are resting peacefully. what a horrible thing
I know. Imagine if you experienced what these people experienced before death, came back as a ghost, and then had countless jerkoffs invading your home and making it an tourist attraction. If you think about it, ghost hunting is basically just dancing on peoples graves to some extent now.
That "hes dead" sounded like a recording coming out of a speaker. Along with the random activation of the doll it does feels like the owners did some spookifying. The growl and clicking sound though, feels real
@@jacobp249 Nah the reverb didn't match the room size at all, all the noises in this house including the growl are pre-recorded for sure. Thought I was going crazy watching, but glad to see someone else came to the same conclusion.
31:17 I like that Shane's immediate reaction to hearing an actually unexplained weird noise in a dark and allegedly haunted house is just to laugh lol. He does it again at 34:29 too
My reaction is the opposite. I live in the woods so if I hear anything shifting around I stay my ass in my room with the door closed, I will not be getting rabies, thank you very much.
I work overnights. Everyone claims the building is haunted because of all the weird noises. For years, people got so mad when I say it's the building is settling because they want to believe in ghosts so bad. Turns out the building is on a damn sinkhole and has been slowly collapsing in on itself for years, yet people still do all sorts of mental gymnastics so that they can continue believing its haunted and not just poorly planned and designed. Every noise is evidence to believers while actual evidence disputing the fantasy is just "being negative."
40:31 so sweet of them to give options to support each other's beliefs (ryan giving a logical explanation, and shane giving the possibility of something paranormal happening a chance)
I don’t wanna slander the folks at Haunted Hill House, but the fact that there was a robotic doll in there, placed by the people who own the house, which is activated by a mechanism that you admitted you don’t understand, throws some of the evidence here into question. If they can put one randomly-triggering device in the house, who’s to say they can’t put more, less-obvious ones too? Really exciting and spooky episode, but I wish the owners of these places wouldn’t do this - or I wish they’d let you guys remove such objects to make as pure an environment as possible.
How convenient that they stopped rolling as soon as the doll started going off. Like have you not learned to keep one camera rolling at all times at least?
THANK YOU! Between the conjuring house and Bobby Mackeys these places keep getting knocked down as complete fakes. Not only was there the doll but it’s even pointed pit in the episode one of the sounds is immediately preceded by a clearly electronic beep, indicating electronic use. And say I’m coping but all of this followed by all these whispers in Ryan’s investigation that are so clear but not in Shane’s. I gave a complete pass to the growl thought it was interesting and went “pretty sure I’ve heard my house make similar noises, but that was pretty loud and distinct.” But I’m gonna be real who’s to say it’s not just recording devices? They clearly have a profit incentive and motive to make this blow up, it attracts more people to the house. Forgive that it’s kinda conjecture, but this just stinks to me. Especially with so many exposes coming out recently about other locations. Also watch the John Wolfe videos on the conjuring house and Bobby Mackeys.
the loud whispers and clear voices that ryan heard during his solo investigation actually had my eyes watering that shit is soooo creepy and weird... best episode of ghost files yet
@@lucihail4444 This is my theory. It sounds identical to the distorted voice out of the singing doll and very much like most voice lines out of old toy speakers.
I must admit that the doll riding the horse made me start to suspect that there might be some shenanigans afoot. I investigated a "haunted" tavern once during which we discovered several servos and small speakers throughout in locations where there was supposed activity. We found no evidence at the location, but if anything had happened it would had been doubted. These are the kinds of things that can make random noises and voices.
To be honest, i can't remember the name. It is in Rhode Island. We traveled from western Colorado to Rhode Island, and this was supposed to be one of the highlights of our time there. It was back in 2008, so i don't recall the name.
Over the years, I‘ve gotten less and less scared by these videos and it actually helped me become less fearful of my home at night, get better sleep etc. But this episode was the first one in a long time where I was genuinely spooked and got chills down my back. Was really nice feeling like that again. Almost nostalgic in a sense. Thank you guys! Beautiful episode, probably my new favorite. And I‘m excited for the rest of the season!
The heart rate monitor is so wild because I have tachycardia so 100-120bpm is just like, my normal resting rate. Ryan's being as low as 86 when he's stressed is just Unfathomable to me. That's like when I'm dead asleep
That whole Toby part was crazy. It seemed to be responsive and consistent, though the guys didn't seem to notice. It could just be good editing but the timing was just too good.
i wish you guys would do more places that aren't set up to be tourist attraction haunted houses, just regular homes, pubs, hotels, museums, etc with another purpose aside from spooks. that way i think there would be less suspicion and accusations of the places having hidden speakers and kitschy decor. i still loved the ep, i'm just unconvinced by some of the evidence.
there are better places like this in the same town they went to that are way more impressive too. used to live there. Ghost Adventures at least did the Baker Hotel.
Yeah like I'm a believer that Ghosts COULD be real but with all those damn toys that we have no idea HOW they're reacting, we can't say what's making those noises or what's setting off the toys. They could be timer based and that's why all those noises are happening!
I saw another ghost hunting group (The Boo Crew or Nick and Ryan) and it does sound like there was hidden speakers around where the owners can fuck with the ghost hunters.
Actually as a devout shaniac I was super proud of Ryan as he certainly got nervous with the amount of noises and voices he heard and yet he still managed to compose himself and go to the rooms he really didn’t want to be in, Well done Ryan!!!
I'm a fence-splitter (UNAPOLOGETIC) but there is no amount of money you could pay me to do those solos. I don't know how Ryan does it. Shane might just be fucking nuts to be so unbothered
@@sweater_ghost lol I suppose it depends on how much you believe in spirits. Me personally I don’t believe at all and so I would not be particularly bothered about having to do it but I understand why people who believe would be. We are all different, I’m scared of enclosed spaces yet some people go caving lol you wouldn’t get me in a cave for all the tea in china lol 😆
@TheB14HB14H it's a reference to some of their previous videos, it's a joke Ryan and Shane do. It's a fun way to describe whether you believe in ghosts or not 🤷 It's not anything serious, just a goof
Ryan did a well to hear noises and not yeet himself straight out of that house. And, ultimately, that’s what makes you a proper investigator - staying put, when it kicks off. This was a great episode.
Hearing Ryan say CONFIDENTLY with a straight face, “I’m standing up right now, my butthole completely vulnerable and exposed,” to a ghost, much less one named Big Dick Tom, was NOT a situation I thought I’d ever see. 😂😂
I love that Ryan came in with the aggression this time, a stark contrast from the days of the goatmans bridge when he didn’t even want Shane to be confrontational with the goatman
I'm already watching this a second time and oh my god the little animation of "R" for ryan trembling on the porch next to "S" for shane is such a hilarious and amazing detail (about 4:21), the animators and graphic artists for this show just keep getting better and better
Upon first watch, as a Shaniac, I was genuinely amazed by the amount of unexplained occurrences. But I’m back for a second watch (while the sun’s out, this time, instead of alone in bed at night) and I’m really noticing that the owners of this place seem to be leaning very very heavily into the haunted decor and vibe, leading me to believe it’s possible that some of the unexplained noises may be planted or purposefully caused in order to draw more attention to the location. I hate to attribute dishonesty to the locations owners but it seems more likely to me that they’re manufacturing conditions for evidence than that the dead walk the earth and their presence is particularly strong in this house.
I try to watch the videos as more of a podcast. It's my background noise while I paint or draw. Every time someone claims to hear a whisper or some words it just sounds like regular noise. For example, the growl sounded like a cough, the whistle did not sound like a whistle. It honestly sounded more like noise from outside, cars, the road. I am loving the cow at the beginning of the Honeytone jaja
The scariest thing in this episode for me was not any of the ghosts. It was actually the part where Shane held a conversation with a doll who coincidentally shares my moderately-uncommon name, while making direct eye contact with the camera, and then decapitating the doll for good measure
I’m in Spartanburg SC where things are still bad from Helene and we have no internet and many still don’t have power after two weeks. THIS IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH SO FAR. Thank you!!!
I believe the reason why Ryan didn’t get that scared by the clear voices during his solo investigation (1:02:08 for example) is because they've obviously been planted by the owners, they totally sound like they're coming from speakers. So I believe Ryan was genuinely startled because he didn’t expect it, but he wasn't actually scared because he could tell they're coming from a speaker. I mean the way they decorated the house alone tells you what the owners' intentions are, and what they're capable of doing to get people talking about their tourist trap.
Actually I know this house it's very haunted. It's right by the Baker Hotel which is one of the most haunted buildings in the world. I use to live down the street. When a house is this haunted it gets to the point where no one is willing to live in it anymore and the owners have to do something with it. Being right next to one of the most haunted buildings and the locals knowing for decades that this house is haunted the owners get requests for people to visit it all the time. Also all the girly dolls and puppets are decorations our grandmothers always had for some reason, in our area of Texas at least. Obviously it has been set up to be spooky but what else can you do with a house no one will live in. Also when I was a kid in the 90s people still genuinely lived there and would be asked by locals to visit all the time cause we all know about it. I've been on the house and went in the Baker Hotel several times, these ghosts don't fuck around you can legit here them talking, laughing and yelling among other things. The Baker is like the overlook hotel on steroids, when you go in it's constant shit happening every time.
@GlitchMcGuffin I'm not arguing against whether it's really haunted or not, but the specific voices Ryan heard definitely came from a speaker. Even he didn't get THAT scared, just startled, as opposed to how scared he got when he heard the growl which does sound like it came from right infront of him.
@@GlitchMcGuffinidk, I feel like if a place is genuinely haunted and is capable of attracting tourists/ghost hunters, they wouldn’t need to make it seem spooky or whatever. IMO all it does it make everything feel performative and fake. Not saying that that’s actually the case in every instance, but that’s the vibe I get.
@@deerkota k guess I'm not from there and know the house. It's only been there since the 1890's, people have only experienced hauntings there for nearly a hundred years. I guess I didn't personally here voices like this multiple times. But your right they put spooky decorations up, it's just a gimmick. Phh you either believe or you don't. Both are fine but nit picking over decor is so annoying.
Yep, Ryan if you're reading this, next time just charge into the fucking wall with Shane to search for any hidden speakers any time you guys hear a growl.

Thanks for watching over the years! I have to say, this one is up there all time for me as well. There’s another ep this season that is too… but just in general excited for you all to see the rest of this season! - Ryan
I don't want to slander anyone, but that doll was super suss. They said that they had no idea how it worked or what could set it off and the security camera happened to be aimed at it. They need to question the owners of that house before the debrief, everything, from the decorations to the noises, seemed really over the top the whole time.
What security camera? Ryan and Shane set up a static camera that was pointed at it.. but I don’t remember ever seeing any security footage? I will say, though, that pretty much everyone I’ve seen investigate at this location has caught the doll going off while no one is around so I’m not sure if it’s a setup or a malfunction or just a common occurance. Other investigators have also captured growls and clear voices, too. I want to believe it’s really haunted, but I do wonder if they’ve hidden some stuff around to scare people.
@@Amelia_Rose_333 I was talking about what looked like a camera on one of the walls in the room. It makes sense for them to have a camera in every room for security and documentation purposes but it could also let them know when to set the doll off if they rigged it.
They outfitted a building that used to be a brothel with a children's carousel room and a bunch of creepy dolls, the owners are obviously playing it up for money/publicity
@@outcastpov9366 I think you misunderstood me. I don’t think Ryan or Shane would ever fake evidence, I’m saying the owners had cameras pointing at the doll and could have set it off remotely.
Any of these places that put out spooky decorations feel like they need to be thrown out entirely. It's just Disney's Haunted Mansion at that point. We know there's at least one electronic doll thing that went off, any of the other 'unexplained' noises kinda feel silly after that. Glad to have the boys back in action though, and the new changes to the episodes seem fun.
Can we just applaud Ryan for not leaving early after 1. A super loud growl, and 2. A super loud RESPONSIVE creepy ghost answering Ryans question of what happened to Jacob.... I genuinely thought some one was playing games on Ryan. I forsure wouldve been out of there lol I was waiting to hear some foot steps start running down the steps
For debrief: Why on EARTH was Ryan not that scared by the moan noise at 1:00:20!! I thought it was so creepy and I can't think of anything that could logically be unless it was a toy that could make noise that we didn't see. Much more compelling in my opinion than a bump or creek because that's harder to just dismiss as an old house or a bird hitting the roof! Love you guys! Also I went to the Cincinnati live show and it was so fun! You guys should definitely check out Kings Island, The Beast is so fun and supposedly haunted!
Sounds exactly like my grandpa’s code lock on his door. It’s set to lock at a certain time, there is a beep and then the gears engage, locking the door.
That one room with all the motion detectors felt so sus. In the case that the owners set up their own hidden speakers that get set off by them, it makes all of those noises unbelievable
This location did not fail. This was crazy one, lots of weird noises, and a lot of potential disembodied voices/whispers. Ryan really did have a rollercoaster of a ride for this location, and Shane being Shane as usual. 👻👏😨
the inside of the haunted hill house is like being lost in a spencer's gifts. that place is an insufferable tourist trap imo. but i really enjoyed the challenges format + no walkies. and the heart rate monitor is fun. also shane, outside, listening to ryan shouting at the house several times that he has a gun was so funny 😭
I love how gentle Ryan is with Jacob, ngl. "I HAVE A FUCKING GUN!... not for you Jacob." He continues asking about Jacob, too. Scared out of his mind, some of the best evidence he's ever collected, voices, growls *outside of the EVP* , some conclusive answers and response times and he still has the presence of mind to ask about a little boy who died and nobody knows why. I love that. And Shane almost goes into "I'm the most dangerous thing here" mode again and I love that, too! This episode really revives the essence of what Ryan and Shane ghosthunting tours are, or used to be. Thank you for that!!
An old Ryan(buzzfeed unsolved era specifically the sallie house) without a doubt will not survive this house! This is legit scary and with the most solid evidences of all the episodes you've made so far!
as someone originally from the town, crazy water is just mineral water. it is actually good for you supposedly if you dont mind water that tastes like dirty metal. still sold across north texas
It occurred to me that the Haunted Hill House is like a tourist attraction. I hope this isn't true and I don't believe they would do it, but if the people who own it put hidden speakers in the house? Just a thought, if they did they could've put them on a timer to play strange noises. EITHER WAY. Loved the video and i'm glad you're back!
I think this is true of a lot of places. Looking at how much the conjuring house charges. People make a lot of money doing this so you gotta give them what they pay for. If I could afford it I would legit buy the hobo hill house that is a nice ass home!
Other haunted places have been exposed for various tricks they do to keep the lore going. Just like this one, decorating with dolls is one trick these places do. Imagine this episode without any dolls, puppets, or mannequins. It would be much less freaky. Going into that house decorated as it was when all the "bad" stuff happened, it would be much less decorated and quite dull.
Fair point tho! It's one thing to add dolls and things to affect the ambience, it's an entirely different thing to add speakers that make spooky sounds.
Actually I'm from the area and lived right by this house when I was young. Everyone's known that this house and the Baker Hotel right by it are very haunted. The Baker is one of the most haunted buildings in the world. I've been in both. The house only recently was turned into a tourist destination because no one will live in it anymore.

I’m sorry to say this but I think the owner of this Hill House has hidden motion sensors that make dolls go off and hidden microphones that play bumps and growls. This entire place is just set up to scare people. The place could definitely be haunted but the owners of the hill house is behind all the noises you hear in this episode I have no doubt. It’s too much of a coincidence that right when a motion sensor goes off you start hearing talking and doll singing.
It's the best possible explanation, but it doesn't cover all the experiences they have. Much like we don't have evidence for ghosts, we also don't have evidence the house is rigged
@@Lunch_Meat no it definitely doesn’t. It doesn’t explain their equipment going off. But all the sounds they hear keep coming from the same place above them. Meaning I don’t doubt the owners hid stuff up there to “scare” wanna be ghost hunters. Look how the owner staged the house. Shot gun with a brain in the bathroom. Creepy dolls hanging. Even if something paranormal did happen it is overshadowed by the obvious set up the owners of the hill house did. It’s just wrong what the owner did.
@@0neInTheChambie like I said, it's the best possible explanation but it doesn't cover EVERYTHING they experienced. The same sounds happening could also be the "ghost" making the same sounds. Coincidental evidence isn't the same as actual evidence and if we want to be intellectually honest then we need to apply the same rules across the board.
also i couldnt find any wikipedia articles or secondary sources about any hill house and its history in mineral wells, texas, except the main hill house site. seems like they REALLY want to advertise that their establishment is "haunted".

Plus all the atractions make me think the owners set up the scarry sounds and noises too, to drive up interest and get more tours

As a shaneiac I find this an amazing episode for the amount of times Shane said he has no idea how something happened or what happened.
With the amount of things happening it almost seems like the owner of the house rigged some stuff or something
I think this is what made it an actual spooky episode. Normally Shane calms everything down by finding the source of the noise but this time he didn't/couldn't so the fear kept ramping up for Ryan and the Boogara's.

I don’t wanna slander the folks at Haunted Hill House, but the fact that there was a robotic doll in there, placed by the people who own the house, which is activated by a mechanism that you admitted you don’t understand, throws some of the evidence here into question. i wish you guys would do more places that aren't set up to be tourist attraction haunted houses, just regular homes, pubs, hotels, museums, etc with another purpose aside from spooks. that way i think there would be less suspicion and accusations of the places having hidden speakers and kitschy decor. i still loved the ep, i'm just unconvinced by some of the evidence.
And places around the world too
there are better places like this in the same town they went to that are way more impressive too. used to live there. Ghost Adventures at least did the Baker Hotel.
they need to go to SEA
@TheB14HB14H it's a reference to some of their previous videos, it's a joke Ryan and Shane do. It's a fun way to describe whether you believe in ghosts or not 🤷 It's not anything serious, just a goof
@@sweater_ghost phew, that makes me feel a bit better. Fan culture makes me uneasy lol.
Ryan did a well to hear noises and not yeet himself straight out of that house. And, ultimately, that’s what makes you a proper investigator - staying put, when it kicks off. This was a great episode.
you can really tell a place is spooky when even Shane is like "what was that noise"
If a sceptic like Shane is confused- my ass is already in the car
Hearing Ryan say CONFIDENTLY with a straight face, “I’m standing up right now, my butthole completely vulnerable and exposed,” to a ghost, much less one named Big Dick Tom, was NOT a situation I thought I’d ever see. 😂😂

I'm already watching this a second time and oh my god the little animation of "R" for ryan trembling on the porch next to "S" for shane is such a hilarious and amazing detail (about 4:21), the animators and graphic artists for this show just keep getting better and better
Yeah! That was really funny, and they also did that when they're explaining how the solo exploration will work
Also love how the S is bigger 😂
I love how the spirit box graphic had Shane saying "goat" "bridge"
Upon first watch, as a Shaniac, I was genuinely amazed by the amount of unexplained occurrences. But I’m back for a second watch (while the sun’s out, this time, instead of alone in bed at night) and I’m really noticing that the owners of this place seem to be leaning very very heavily into the haunted decor and vibe, leading me to believe it’s possible that some of the unexplained noises may be planted or purposefully caused in order to draw more attention to the location. I hate to attribute dishonesty to the locations owners but it seems more likely to me that they’re manufacturing conditions for evidence than that the dead walk the earth and their presence is particularly strong in this house.
thank uuuuuuu that's what I also thought
I try to watch the videos as more of a podcast. It's my background noise while I paint or draw. Every time someone claims to hear a whisper or some words it just sounds like regular noise. For example, the growl sounded like a cough, the whistle did not sound like a whistle. It honestly sounded more like noise from outside, cars, the road. I am loving the cow at the beginning of the Honeytone jaja
I always appreciate a shaniac. Helps me see both sides. I’m very gullible❤

Fall weather, tea, comfy pjs, and a ghost files video? My kind of evening

The scariest thing in this episode for me was not any of the ghosts. It was actually the part where Shane held a conversation with a doll who coincidentally shares my moderately-uncommon name, while making direct eye contact with the camera, and then decapitating the doll for good measure
I’m glad they listened to ppl and didn’t block content behind a paywall, otherwise I literally never would’ve seen this content
This might be the best Ghost Files episode yet. It was so fun to see Ryan genuinely scared again.

Just like everyone else is saying, this feels like it’s back to the buzzfeed feels, fun back and forth, to scary stuff
Maybe they're trying to figure out how it works with the help of the camera
@@outcastpov9366 I think you misunderstood me. I don’t think Ryan or Shane would ever fake evidence, I’m saying the owners had cameras pointing at the doll and could have set it off remotely.
Shanes ability to rationalise every noise/thing they encounter almost instantly within the moment, even when it’s pitch dark is impressive😂

@@watcherbut Ryan you just keep choking on the kernels!
It sounded more like a machine to me, maybe something turned on in the room?
Sounds exactly like my grandpa’s code lock on his door. It’s set to lock at a certain time, there is a beep and then the gears engage, locking the door.
its probably a motion sensor tripped and a moan from a speaker can be played from inside a wall. Super easy to do.
I think he was starting to get wise to the fact that the house had been rigged with devices to make noise like the rocking horse doll.
The beep of the sound player turning on probably tipped him off.
"I HAVE A FUCKING GUN!... not for you Jacob."
He continues asking about Jacob, too.
At Ripley's Believe it or Not, there are speakers in the bathroom that fart. Its hilarious

@@Lunch_Meat actually we do have evidence that the house is rigged, you can cross compare videos with theirs. same noises and everything.
