As a person who is fairly mechanical it boggles my mind to hear these claims but to see no description of design or function. I would love to examine the plans or a functional unit. One that is capable of as much work as current designs or more without the resource usage. Also keeping in mind that we could not get these better designs without the designs of the past. Just like folks pushing solar panels and electric cars without realizing the material cost that goes in to producing the end product.

A true working revolution that brings about true change is so radical that no one wants to envision this type of change. Social and economic in one. There are many designs and plans floating around, each one trying to emerge, but then again, we (society) are too complacent and too comfortable in our own little worlds to bother with it. They (big corps and governments) control via regulation and force, in what we as a uniformed people, get to do. Revolution is long overdue.
Money is a tool in which we use to provide ourselves with resources - that is how it could be used to support life - yet currently we have added all these extreme value definitions on it that we use for ego purposes instead of practical reality purposes - so it's not necessarily about removing money - but defining it to be of practical support for life such as ensuring all have a basic income to at least be able to survive with the essentials of basic human rights.
