Foreign degree in Clinical Psychology needs RCI approval. I have no update in this regard though. However, it is a general rule, you have to write an exam to prove compatibility.

I have bachelor's in journalism hons and masters in psychology from.regular, DU.. what are pathways we can opt for..tedoing bachelor's will take years at this point..can we not do some form diploma of 40 credit scores...will that allow?

Etc?..are we still not allowed to atleast give exams the next year or so?..or complete the credit scores required?
I started MA Psych in 2023. I started BA Psych in 2024. In 2025, I will complete MA Psych. In 2027, I will complete BA Psych. I completed BA Hons English in 2009. I am just following what RCI has asked because I cannot fight the system. You can get into Counselling psychology though. RCI doesnt control that.
That was my initial strategy but that wont work as universities make their PGDipClinPsy recruitment stringent as per RCI. Always safe to have a bachelors in psych.

Hello, I took Arts in 12th including psychology subject. Now i got admission in BSC Clinical Psychology Honours/Research Program. The University selected me even after the new RCI rule that only science students can take BSC in Clinical Psychology. If i continue to do this degree will my degree be valid, will i be eligible to become a Clinical Psychologist? Ya fir BSC Clinical Psychology krne k baad bhi mai nahi ban skti Clinical Psycholigist? As long as you have 4 year BSc Clinical Psychology, great! Be sure the university is RCI approved for this course. You can practice as a counselling psychologist after 4 years of the programme and get direct entry to PsyD.

I have clarified what you need to do via the 3 pathways. Other than clincial, you can surely proceed with counselling or industrial psychology. You can also look up for forensic psychology.

You have to start with research from your end. Find the universities and talk to them to confirm.

You need BA and MA Psychology. I am doing both.

If your BA Honors is of 4 years, then you can directly get into PsyD when the three exit points will apply.
