If anyone clears the entrance exam and have some inclination towards psych then he/she will clear and get seats. So admission in Psy.D is not based on past university. Its more on competitive side.

If you are going directly for PsyD then you have to complete 4 years then you get your PsyD degree. But if you go for MPsy first then you can take admission directly in 3rd year of PsyD degree through lateral entry.(You have to take admission in PsyD Within 3 years)

No child psychologist in India right now all psychology courses which are clinical. Only one way to become a certified psychologist. Those who completed clinical psychology in institutions which are recognised by RCI, they are eligible psychologists to do any specific field of psychology.

Hello dear aspirant! Yeh kaafi challenging situation hai non-psychology students ke liye. Let us hope ki ispe kuch further clarity mile sabhi ko RCI ki taraf se. What can be done now? M.Psy structure will take time to be implemented at a large scale to all universities and hospitals. Meanwhile, MPhil will continue. You can choose pursue MPhil in Clinical Psychology which is open for non-psychology students. We believe that MPhil will stay atleast for this 2024 sessions

Officially called Vocational counselor , once you have completed ADCGC. RCI gives you a certificate as Vocational counselor

What can be done now? M.Psy structure will take time to be implemented at a large scale to all universities and hospitals. Meanwhile, MPhil will continue. You can choose pursue MPhil in Clinical Psychology which is open for non-psychology students.
We believe that MPhil will stay atleast for this 2024 sessions

No , present m.phil course requires Masters in psychology to pursue m.phil clinical psychology .
Those who are currently in 3rd year what should they do
They will have to either give Mphil exam or M.Psy exam whichever will be there when you’d be giving the exam. You just need to prepare for the exams.
