Love that song Turning of the Tide. It sounds very much like Happy days are here again. It is such a happy melody. I keep coming back to this recording during my Happy Hour!
Thank you for this , I do like the music of Henry Hall - it seems a cut above most of his contemporaries . His "Teddybear's Picnic was a childhood favourite of mine.
TRACK TIMING: 0:00 [1] Gettin' Sentimental (Henry Hall & The BBC Dance Orchestra, vocal Val Rosing) 3:08 [2] By The Sycamore Tree (Henry Hall & The BBC Dance Orchestra, vocal Val Rosing) 6:16 [3] Nobody Else But Elsie (Henry Hall & The BBC Dance Orchestra, vocal Val Rosing) 9:04 [4] The Turning Of The Tide (Henry Hall & The BBC Dance Orchestra, vocal Val Rosing)
Just a heads up but starting tomorrow all of my new posts will be released first on the Pax41 Music Time Machine Facebook and Pinterest pages. They will be unlisted here on RUclips for about two weeks before I release them for viewing. I will be releasing my KPAX41 channel videos without any delay. Just wanted to give you a heads up and thank you for watching.
The first two songs were actually included in Henry's very first broadcast with his new BBC Dance Orchestra. I have written the story of Henry Hall's BBC Dance Orchestra which will be serialised in Memory Lane magazine starting, I understand, from the next edition due out next month.
I will have to read it when it comes out Peter. Peter, is there a UK version of the Internet Archive? The internet archive here doesn't contain much music by the British bands. I have decided to create playlists for bands and singers but focus on the British bands for now. When I have time I will include the posts of other channels into the playlists on my channel, so yours will for sure be included.

There should be no copyright claims on any Henry Hall sound recordings. Per British copyright law, they are in the public domain now. There can be claims on the composition, as long as they are still valid per the copyright laws for the country of origin for the composition. All of my posted sound recordings are my remasters from the original 78 rpm records in my collection. Many of the claims that are made are for remasters being claimed by another company that has made their own reissue of the original. Those claims would not apply to my remasters since mine were created using the original 78rpm. This is what they have done as well. Their claim would only apply if I used their remaster to create the music file. I have had to dispute many attempted claims on sound recordings I have posted. YT has improved its requirements for those making claims. If it is disputed they must provide proof that they own the rights to the sound recording. The majority of them do not have the required proof and they release their claim. You have to challenge the claim or they will monetize your work or even worse give you a strike. I have successfully disputed copyright strikes as well. They have to reveal who is making the claiming. It is easy to look up the company making the claim and to know if they own the actual original sound recording. Hope this helped.

I'm mad about the Hall band! Gems all, but my favorite is "By The Sycamore Tree" -- one of the best versions of this sweet one, I think.
Hello Bob...💃
👍
Hello C.W. Have a good day!
Opening trumpet could cut through butter. Who is the player?
Is there any way these delightful recordings could be added to Spotify?
Do you get copyright strikes?
