I remember I started watching you with that white charger. I had a b5 blue charger rt back then and I loved the mods you did. Hard times came and I had to sell my rt. Around jan 2022 things got better and I had a great deal on a corvette c6 ls3. Non the less I enjoy your videos. I’m happy to see you uploading and I’m sticking with you. Love your content man ( English isn’t my mother language sorry for any mistakes)
I added the 1/4 spacer because I had the same issue with my caliper covers. The spacers made the wheel shake so I took them off. I couldnt get a refund yet, still working on it. I ended up getting the OEM covers. I havent installed them yet, so we will see how it goes. At no time when I was ordering the covers from MGP did it indicate that a spacer may be needed. And when I called them they did not offer me the 1/4 spacers. Very upset with their customer service. But I do like the product.
I think a wider stance will look cool but then you'll also need to check clearance for the steering too. And you could just put 2 of one size spacers on the drivers side then the larger spacer on the passenger side to see which stance you prefer and clearance. Then just change over the two you dont want on that particular side. Looking good though bro! I still got my SRT.
Put them in the trash. Had them on my 07 R/T. They look cheap IMO like fake Brembo’s. Never even considered them for my 18. The response you got from MGP is BS.
I'll do you one even better .. I have these things on both of my vehicles.... I was driving down the road a week ago and both FRONT caliper cover popped off while I was literally driving down the road. And on my other vehicle I was going to the store and suddenly I heard a squeak noise . Rubbing noise. Rattling like I can't deal with it.
@@RydinNStyle Definitely go hub centric with lugs. I’ve put 25mm spacers on my vehicle since watching this video, and everything’s been good so far. Obviously not a longer term review or anything (lol) but now I’ll be able to fit my caliper covers on my vehicle and stance looks great at 1” for me.
First all u have the wrong caliber covers you have to get either RC (Rough Country) Covers which is no .2 or AOOA racing wheel covers which is the no. 1 wheel covers out they are the 2 wheel calibers covers out that are made e to fit with not any problems n don’t require spacers I heard make your car shake look these two different brands up you thank me later
Scotty Kilmer gave his opinion on wheel spacers, I think if you went with a 1/4’’ inch ones that would give you the clearance that you needed so the brake caliper covers wouldn’t rub without being too thick unlike the 1-1/4’’ inch thick ones, but in the end it’s your vehicle. ruclips.net/video/20ADh8nm0wc/видео.html

Thank you for staying with the journey sir

I totally understand. I haven't tried MGPs remedy 1/4" spacers, but I may be putting on the 1" ones in the future

Ah yes, great points, thank you for those ideas
Yea but I’m not doing all of that for some caliper covers, that’s way too much for caliper covers..😮
Any updates? I was looking at these or the rough country ones. Leaning toward the rc ones due to price
I'll be installing and uploading in January, these are definitely near he top of the list. Thank you
You’ll have to grind the stock studs down with the bigger spacers
Uh oh, that can't be good if it isn't plug n play

I just wanted to cover the calipers to help reduce the brake dust and clean up that behind the rim look, but they can look cheap as well
Worst purchase I made, took it off my Durango.Noise was too much
Yes, that screeching sound was painful
Do you try to get a refund from MGP?

What did you go with?
I am doing more research, but I'm leaning towards th 1.25"

Hey, I appreciate the video link, I've been on the fence about putting anything on because of the unknown wear and tear factors
