Damn parliament station… almost fallen many a time. I love that you guys began the video from the top of the escalator and by the time the video ended, you still weren’t at the bottom 😂
I've run down those escalators many times risking death or injury. But I can't miss my train bc I'll have to wait forever for the next one which will probably be cancelled or bypassing the loop. 🙄 You do have to really concentrate on what you're doing. There's been many accidents over the years. Just another wonderful thing about WFH - avoiding the wretched Parliament escalators.
Those escalators also have not changed since the station first opened however both lifts have been replaced in more recent years! However there platform lift was most likely actually heavily modernised by what I can see! :)
I think i remember the bits between escalators didn't have bumps on them initially, and people would go sliding down and hurt themselves at the bottom.
I’ve been up and down those escalators a few times (carrying a unicycle and going to a monthly uni-meet near there) and I have once seen someone tumbling down them - they were on the other side, and I was on the up escalator at the time, or I would’ve found out if they were alright, so I’m afraid my story ends there. …also, I once filmed the trip along the escalator (can’t remember which direction), and got told afterwards that I wasn’t actually allowed to film there - I hope you got permission.
I hate them. I saw a man pass out and fall backwards. People screaming, it was a domino effect for the people behind. I will not use those escalators, I use the lift
Never understood why people have an issue with these escalators. If your sense of balance is that bad that you're so easily thrown off balance by a shiny ceiling, perhaps you'd better stay at home.
I hate those escalators, I always have to look at my feet and hold on because they give me vertigo, now I know why. Thanks
I go up them as fast as I can. Trick is, look at the steps.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one freaked out by these escalators
Video feel gives me slight Tom Scott vibes. 😁
I love this!!

Grand Central station in New York (to the LIRR) has a set designed just like this, it's SUPER disorienting and makes me queasy 🤢
@@MaddMan621 yeah it’s such a weird experience hey??
@@MaddMan621 l have to go to grand central station just to experience it 😂
Bruh those elevators always scare me
Why don’t they just paint some level stripes on the wall to help people level themselves?
Lol, I often just walk down on these. Great feeling!
earned a new sub, awesome little piece of content! keep it up
Ah yes, this is true. However, when you want to give yourself a little 'leg day'. Great to go up. 😁😁

This is the final boss of escalators and he just stands there like 🤓
Honestly, I find them fun! It’s like a challenge 💀
It‘s looks very easy to solve, so why the government and company don’t do anything?
Need to paint vertical lines on the wall.

Just by looking at the video it starts to get disorienting

I was told my some older people that they had to put those bars into the middle of the escalators bc people used to slide down them
While germs kiss you good night.

I was a fan of your channel, until you included this guy.
Amen this guy is so creepy and obnoxious
@@Seurnngeez, I feel like he looks like a nice good vibes guy…
If you trip and fall on this… just don’t travel. Please

Imagine what would happen if you farted while going down one of these and got disoriented
