      @@oxysz I hear you man. Hang in there. Your right the bible says man should not be alone and Paul wanted christians to get married if they were horney. However ask god to be with you and to fill you up so you are not feeling alone, his grace is sufficient for us isnt it. Remember this life is fleeting, we live in a corrupt world, you will be totally satisfied in the next life when you are trully in gods presence. I struggle with this too and I have made a commitment to be pure before god and guess what, when i decided to give god my sexuality and my depression and lust went away, I am at peace also I dont feel like I am lost when i give in to lost. Sin is temporary but gods blessings last.

      @planes3333 I agree, I was thinking, the only way I would marry now is if my counterpart acknowledges Mark 10:9 word for word, and that we could both love Jesus as our foundation. Otherwise, I'm also going to worship and love God, hallow and exalt Him, and follow and serve Jesus, live in reflection to how He lived.

The rich young ruler thought he was perfect according to the Law. Jesus showed the rich young ruler he wasn’t perfect according to the Law. None of us are perfect. Only God is perfect. I like this answer how to use your money for a good reason, regarding the story of Lazarus and the rich man. It is good motive to provide your family and others. " A man can't provide for his family is worse that the non-believe" gives me to think about how a greed characteristic fits in that category.

    4:26 to try and answer this girls question in my own words:
    Even though God knew, beforehand, all the horrible things you would do, and the horrible things that would happen to you, He still knew it would be worth it to create you.
    That goes for every single man and woman that has, or ever will, live in this world. And it depends on you to accept God's gift of Salvation to spend eternity with Him, in heaven, or separate from everything that is good from God, in hell.

    the only thing I would like to elaborate on Bro Stuart's "money answer" in part with Bro Cliffe's first part is he mentioned "money is the root of all evil", he did however say "money despite it being a good thing it has an ability to get poisoned more so than other good things" . The scripture he was referring to is 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (emphasis : I capitalized "LOVE") it's the LOVE of money that is the root. When that LOVE for making money gets placed above a love and heart for God, forgetting to set our affections on things above.....then the money becomes a stumbling block.
    Love Bro Stuart & Cliffe expounding on God's wisdom for our daily life application of Loving the Lord God. Spurring those onward to grow in the Lord. Seek ye first the kingdom of God.

    When the young lady at 15:50 said “we’re all in college and gonna make a certain salary”… a part me is laughing at the certainty because that’s some real 1990’s thinking right there 😂

    • @308dad8
      @308dad8 23 дня назад

      And the 90’s are gone! The country we had in the 90’s is gone! Yeah she thinks college guarantees prosperity. I wouldn’t send a young man to college who wanted to be a framing carpenter, or a heavy equipment operator, or a brick layer, or in retail unless to take business courses so they may be able to get into management. But I hope she gets to make good money. So many have no idea how good they have it though. These manual laborers who move containers from ships to rail cars and trucks were making $24/hr to $39/hr and decided they need 77% raise and a guarantee that there will never be automation on the docks. They were offered 50% raises for low skilled wages. I ain’t talking down but some need to operate cranes and some need to be flag men and some need to just be able to be taught to put the locks in the corners and turn them so the next container can be loaded on top and locked to it. They make really good money! I was making $42,000/year based off an hourly rate of about $21 as an experienced hardware support engineer/customer engineer in data processing environments. I had to fix high value servers when they went down so people could be paid. But it’s worth more to be able to put a weird lock in the corners of a container and rotate them so the next one can go on top and rotate again so they’re locked together. It’s manual hands on labor but not ridiculously skilled labor and they already get more than ridiculously specialized skilled labor, nearly twice what I made. How often do we realize we have a great deal while we have that great deal.

    CLIFFE I've looked for every way to reach you and ask this question but I have failed every single way to reach but I just need to hope you see this comment, I'm a new follower of Christ, I desire to sin less and put my faith in Christ but I've lost everything just like Job I keep praying I read the Bible I go to church things got better but now they are worse, what Is sin, ive admitted my guilt I've spread the word ik it's not my works that get me to heaven but everything I do is sin, questioning, self hatred I can't let it go I can't I've tried I've dropped the addictions, turning my life around to try and follow but my biggest problem idk if I feel it I feel like stabbing out my heart every day just to feel something I truly believe in Christ but what is wrong with me I've acknowledged my sins, that I need Christ I'm trying to put him first I get angry everytime I forget to pray or read the bible because I hate it it reminds me I'm lukewarm and going to hell as every 7.2 billion deserve to burn for we all sinners it's only through Christ's forgiveness, and grace that I get to go to Heaven my question is this how do you go from a war inside your soul to putting your faith in Christ but actually feeling it or am I just that broken I hope this comment reachs you

    • @danielharrison5731
      @danielharrison5731 Месяц назад +1

      Hey man, I'm not the guy you're looking for, but I know your struggle. I was a cultural Christian living like God didn't exist until my early twenties. In my early twenties, after I got married, I felt God truly speak to my heart. We are told that this life is not going to be better just because we have come to God, but the opposite. We're told that we have to bear our cross everyday, and we have to face our struggles. But we don't do it alone. No matter how you feel, God is with you if you've put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I'm not sure if I heard this from Cliffe or somewhere else I see Christian media, but they said if you feel the conviction of the holy Spirit in how you act and how you think, it means you've put your faith in God. Think about it, would you be guilty/convicted of something you did if you didn't know it was wrong? The holy Spirit lives within you, and Jesus Christ is in your heart! It's an amazing feeling to be able to feel this conviction, it's a big reason I realized that *I* was lukewarm for my whole life.
      Thomas (or whatever you go by), you are never too broken to be saved. Never too broken to be away from God. I believe the only way you can separate yourself from God after you've put your faith in Jesus Christ is to completely renounce Him. My advice to you is to read the sermon on the Mount in either Matthew or Mark. Me and my wife have taken this step to reading the entire Bible in a year, something neither of us have done yet. It's giving me a lot of understanding into God's character and to how we got here as a fallen humanity. If you would like, I can pray for you, and feel free to ask me any questions from someone who is in the same boat as you brother.

    Hi!
    A newer believer here. I have been raised in an easthern orthodox environment and I've been to a couple Penthicostal churches through my life. Growing up I knew that God was the only way but I didn't know much about God. I didn''t read much from the bible just a couple things here and there and there were moments in my life when I was praying a lot and some I was more distant but always on moments of scare I was going back to God. Around an year ago I've started dating someone who has been my best friend for a couple years and I really wanted the relationship to work. He is a muslim and a pretty stubborn one. In the begining since we decided to date to marry we shared what our expectations were about our future family. He said he can't accept them not be muslim and properly follow which in the beginning I accepted. In my heart I always knew that it's going to be a very hard thing to not tell them much about Jesus but then I also didn't know much myself. Later on I've started to get worried about his soul and his salvation (I didn't consider back then I wasn't in a good place myself), but because I worried so much about him, a couple months ago I started reading the bible ( and listening) almost everyday and I've realized that if I decided to follow Christ then I can't marry him. It broke my heart into peaces and Last week eventually we called it off, because I couldn't find a way around it and I just felt very worried to disobey God, even tho often I had thoughts about it and to be completely honest even now I think about just getting married with him and coming back after eventually . And if I could get forgiven after doing so. But I know tempting God is not the way but it just is that hard for me and these thoughts come. He couldn't understand how it was so easy for me to throw everything away even tho I was bawling my eyes out in doing so and eversince last week I keep praying that God will turn him to Him. I fasted for the 1st time in my life to ask God for strength to go through this and to ask if it's God's will for him to get to know Him. I still very much love him and the thing I want for him the absolute most is for his soul to be saved but he doesn't want to attend any bible sessions at all, it's a hard no and he doesn't wanna have anything to do with me, which I respect but it's hard still.
    I know this is a longer of a message but if it's possible I would love if more ppl would join me into prayer or even an advice if it's possible. From a broken person, Thank you!

    • @perochialjoe
      @perochialjoe 2 месяца назад +3

      I recently helped a friend to come back to religion and go to church again. I'd wanted to suggest it to them for a while but I waited and asked God to let me help them if He were willing and to let me spot the opportunity if it came. It meant not speaking to them about it for a while until they hit a very low point and said they felt worthless and didn't see any way out of their issues. I softballed the suggestion of going to church to them, explained how I had fallen out of religion and came back to it, how it helped me, and they shot it down, then went silent for about an hour. When they came back, they told me they were going to church that Wednesday.
      To answer your question: Have a really soft touch with it and wait. God will do the heavy lifting, just pray that they become willing to listen and ask to help them if God is willing. A lot of the time people are overbearing with it.

When you know what someone is reluctant about or why they left the faith it can cut through a lot of red tape. Recommend Greg Koukl’s books Tactics, and Street Smarts. He’s also got a ton of content on RUclips.

      The first step is to ascertain if their disbelief is sincere.

By positioning himself in high-traffic areas and encouraging dialogue, he creates an accessible environment for students to explore deep questions about faith and life. The format of brief remarks followed by an extended Q&A allows for dynamic exchanges, which not only hold the interest of those present but also invite diverse perspectives. This method respects the intellectual curiosity of university students while providing a platform for meaningful conversations about the Gospel. It's a powerful way to foster discussion and connect with people on a personal level.

      @@Lili-Benovent I understand your concerns, but universities have always been places where ideas of all kinds can be explored, debated, and challenged. The beauty of an academic environment is that it allows for the exchange of diverse perspectives, even those we might disagree with. While Cliffe Knechtle's approach may not resonate with everyone, his presence offers students the opportunity to engage with different viewpoints, critically analyze them, and come to their own conclusions. This kind of open dialogue is essential in fostering a well-rounded education. Instead of silencing voices we disagree with, it’s more productive to engage with them, question them, and use the opportunity to strengthen our own understanding and beliefs.

    And I have heard a lot of people talk about how “that sounds so exhausting”, to live your life in constant struggle with your conscience.

    While I love Stuart, I do believe that the devil is around every corner and it is not "mental illness" -- it is written: "Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour." 1 Peter 5:8. I grew up in a very demon soaked environment and Jesus Christ has kept me sane and healthy in spite of it. I am 68 years old, on no medications, mentally alert and physically sound. My two sisters died a day apart from drug addiction in 2008 -- we had a double funeral. They had rejected God and chosen drugs (that is how they coped with a traumatic childhood). I had embraced Christ as a teenager and although I spent some years running from and rebelling against Him (I returned in my 50s) God still loved me and protected me from the demons that seemed to be on my tail my whole life. It was realization of the REALITY of demons that brought me back into the safety of his loving arms. Too often, sin is thought of as a "diagnosis" or "disorder" that needs therapy or medication. I love the Lord with all my heart - he's been the best father, husband, friend and of course Savior! I pray for all those who are pursued by the devil: he can't win.

    I want to ask. My questions... 1. The reality that we can see right now is that in this universe there are trillions of trillions of planets and galaxies. If there are countless trillions of trillions of planets... maybe not only planet Earth has living creatures inhabiting it...? For example, if there are a trillion other planets that have living creatures like Earth and its inhabitants are various types of non-human creatures, would Jesus also be God on those one trillion inhabited planets...? 2. The real facts that we can know right now... the earth is approximately 10 million km, the sun is 1.3 million times as big as the earth, and there is a star called U Scuty that is tens of billions of times as big as the sun . If the celestial bodies were super massive in size like that, the number in the trillions would be uncountable. How big do you think God the Creator is, bro...? Maybe God is only as big as the man Jesus...? 3. According to scientists, the universe is more than 13 billion years old, whereas according to historians, Adam and Eve only existed about 7 thousand years ago. Based on this science... maybe the universe has been empty without any living creatures inhabiting it for more than 13 billion years...? So what was Jesus doing for 13 billion years before there were humans, Adam and Eve...? Please answer me!!!!?!!!
