I am currently reading The autobiography of a yogi, that's where I found out about kriya yoga. This was my first time experiencing it and I must say it was quite a multidimensional experience. I never felt more grounded and peaceful, ever. Thank you!
I found this video years ago and found the exercises work so well that I would always recommend them to others. I forgot about it and just endured fatigue instead. I found it again today, after searching through many other video listings because THESE EXERCISES WORK and are taught so peacefully and gently here by Swami Bodhichitananda. Thank you.

This is my first time watcing this video. I am standing in my kitchen, listening very closely to the medulla oblongata part that is mentioning the part where you say "imagine a bright golden light" at your third eye area. well the most intense, bright light was shining through my kitchen window while i was doing the EE exercises. I have lived in my house since May 2017 and i have never, once seen the sunset. I must say i felt as if that was a sign. I am currently in isolation at my house due to the pandemic and it is probably at least 30 days into it we are on a stay at home order, but not until today, at 7:45 p.m. on this day, Saturday, April 25th, did i see that beautiful bright golden light. i will make time every day now to practice the EE and hopefully i will see that amazing sunset while i am practicing. I am so blown away that i had to share with everyone. I so believe in signs and i was given an amazing one today, there are no coincidences. Love, light and healing energy to all during this time. Thank you Swami Bodhichitananda, I by chance found the book autobiography of a Yogi and in it found a paper for SRF.... Within that finding (someone who's never done yoga of any kind) found Kriya Yoga. I really wanted to join tonight's session and was desperately looking for the beginning exercises to be able to follow along... I must say this is so well laid out and explained, that I feel excited and blissful for this experience daily! Thank you thank you for being a beacon of knowledge and love ✨ -Namaste 🥰
In other words, Yoganandaji felt his mission had been completed in the West at that time. He volunteered to give up his physical body for that lifetime. By the way, his mortal body was incorruptible, just as the Roman Catholics admire their saints such as St. Bernadette of Lourdes, St. Padre Pio, St. Clare of Assisi, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Catherine Labour, St. Pope John XXII et al are to this day without signs of decomposition!

Hi, around the 3 minute mark and following, here is the historical timeline. Yogananda left India in 1920, and at that time, Bishnu was not practicing yoga, weightlifting, or anything of the sort. Bishnu began his training under Professor RN Guha Thakurta, whom Sananda had introduced him too, in 1922, at City College in Calcutta. Bishnu trained at Ranchi for a couple of years prior, under Yogananda, and then went to school at Scottish Church College in North Calcutta, on Cornwallis Street, the same school which Yogananda had attended, until 1922. Bishnu, by his own account, in his 1930 book, prior to his taking up training in 1922, was, at nineteen years old, “a weakling.” He weighed “only 68 pounds” and was a mere “25 inches around my chest.” Otherwise, very interesting, thanks.

Thank you for your effort, now I have a clue of what Kriya Yoga is. But it´s difficult. I might do some of them. But all the tension exercises are a bit dificult. But Im allready so tired

I've never seen anyone do these exercises with such long (3 second open, 3 second closed) pauses. This is great if your not a householder, i guess. I have limited time each day... I've done these religiously for weeks on end, then dropped them entirely, then come back to doing them again. They definition make a difference. What i have not determined is if they make enough of a difference that they justify the meditating time i lose every time i do them. I've basically settled on doing then once per day. The decision results in 15 minutes more meditation time per day

i have a question here and will be highly happy to get the answers..after these practices along with those mudras(khechari, talabya, maha mudra, mula bandha etc).. how long it takes to start the actual core KRIYA process? i know that there are some or many very confidential and secret kriya methods.. how long does it need to get upto that???
Chinese Qigong also good, and learned or formed much meditation too, but we seldom have the great spirit to share openly like the Indians, therefore, seldom really get them....

I didn't know this was secret. I learned it all 40 years ago in my 20's.

I think we should fast every week at least one day, and the stomach exercise so important for us...
