DAYUMM HE TOOK THE WHOLE CITY OF MILWAUKEES BUDGET LMAO
😂😂
You don’t know Milwaukee
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Sad that if he wasn't on the Bucks this event would've been swept under the rug and no one would know, he would get no justice.
You can go online and look up how every city pays out settlements every year for stuff like this!
Them cops should’ve been fired
I disagree, I think the city should let the cops pay it back by deducting their checks 10 percent until the debt is paid.
@@KNByam nah, fired. Their job performance would get even worse and countless more Black people would get punished
Maybe firing them wouldn't be enough. They should be in jail, just like any other citizen would be.
@@KNByam lose part of their pension, and serve jail time.
they should have been arrested
Imagine if he wasn't an NBA player
@Houston Trashtros Cmon bruh
@Lord Tachanka then the cops wouldn't have had to break the law!
@Lord Tachanka for a parking violation... You think this is justice SMH
We don't have to imagine it. It happens all the times.
@Lord Tachanka 🤡
in most cases the police are not held accountable for their actions
@Houston Trashtros I agree with you on that
George Floyd
The police were NOT held accountable in this case. Yes, the city paid but nothing has been done to the officers.
@@scorpionx7044 and technically it was tax payers money 💰 that was actually used.
@Lord Tachanka I wish you the same thing you wish black people..
Those officers need to be FIRED
The cops were NOT fired. Nor were they charged. ijs
Smh....the laws that protect police misconduct are criminal in itself. No disrespect to those cops who are fair& do their jobs without abusing power, but police reform is a MUST. Major change gotta happen!!!
One got fired, but it was cause tweeted racist stuff about Brown after the arrest.
he should have gotten a Million
What is important is that he insisted on an admission of (a little) guilt. That officer's social media post shows an admission of guilt.
$750,000.00 settlement is fine, the only problem I have with it is the people of Milwaukee should not have paid this, instead it should have came out of all the eight clowns who were involved in this crime salaries and pension plans so in the future no other blue gang member can think of committing another crime against any other civilian.
All for a parking violation :|
It wasn't even a parking violation technically. He was on private property which just makes this worse.
Essentially he fined the city 750k for a parking violation. lmao
@@freakhead10 he was parked in Walgreens parking lot. Thats public
@@retrohil6225 he was parked on private property with public ACCESS. Public property is when it's owned by the government. Walgreens didn't even call the cops on him.
For a parking violation? It's not an actual CRIME, but a violation, smh... it's crazy of here
Sterling probably gave up extra money so that the City would admit they were wrong and agreed to make policy changes. Good on him
For some reason, conservatives will be mad about this and I just know it
I hope not man. Anyone with a brain can see that Sterling was always in the right. I wish he got more money than 750 k
They are still busy being mad about Biden winning at the moment.
@@jalenrose9802 yeah gotta be a really straight human to double park on parks reserved for DISABLED people
No but you tried it. Just ESPN being ESPN and you are a troll
@@AlexandreG ? Wdym exactly?
Glad he brought awareness and got the Milwaukee PD to admit wrong doing. That said, that 750k is just tax payer dollars, SMH.
Not really you do know police departments have money in thier budgets for situations like this?
exactly, government does wrong to taxpayer, then uses taxpayer money to pay them off, they're the real mafia.
@@theblacksunannunaki7870 You do realize where those funds are from correct? Their whole budget is taxpayer dollars.
@@rileybrown4066 no that money comes from bail jumpers raids seized cash ect....money police get from tax payers go fund for new equipment cars, gear ect......if you listen to the video he'll tell you Milwaukee police department has a reserve of 3 million dollars just for cases like this so that it doesn't fall on taxpayers....just watch the full video
Yeah well then we need to hold cops accountable i.e. fire them for wasting our tax dollars by committing civil rights violations!
imagine if he wasn't an NBA player
Those officers should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this exactly what poor people go through all the time, because we have ro money 💰 to fight many of us get jail wrongful and the police gets ro go 9n and do it to someone else
He should donate some to others who have lawsuits pending in Milwaukee 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
2 years ago really? Smdh he should of got a M
Yo I'm saying though.
A M for what? Dawg we got homeless people out here in Milwaukee. Giving a multimillionaire a M for what???
The fact that the Milwaukee PD actually admitted that they were at fault is definitely the biggest thing in this case. So many times we see cases that infringe on civil rights yet the people who are doing the crimes get off and "investigations" are taking place. The people get suspended for like 2 days. Milwaukee PD taking accountability is great. However, this should've never happened in the first place.
For a parking violation Jesus, here in italy is a thing we laughing at
Yeah there's alot of racism and discrimination here that ppl hate to admit.
yea also there in italy its nothing but a nation of racists
They should take % of their pensions everytime they break their oath of protection or servitude. Probably changes the whole dynamic of police work if done right. Lol
Definitely like this idea lol
750K? That's light. That officer should be suspended or even fired...
This is crazy. A lot of these “police brutality” cases can be really overblown, but in this case, it seemed like he was complying, the cops are completely wrong if we have all the info.
Awesome that he didnt just take the 400k and accept that as a W. Respect for holding them accountable.
They tried to strong arm him by offering large sum settlement of $400,000 and no admission of guilt or discipline of any kind. The tactic was used so if he said no to the offer which he did than when go to court to fight it if the judge still sides with him but gives him A smaller settlement amount than what the county had originally offered him they could legally foot the Bill for all the legal fees and other expenses related to the case for the defense which is the county and he would have no other choice but to pay it by law in Wisconsin. Luckily the court systems ruled in his favor and gave him a way bigger settlement than what the county had originally provided which ensures they have to pay everything including all expenses they had to use for the case and they have to go on Record to the public and admit the conduct by the police was wrong and they have to provide training for officers on how to better do their job for a situation like that.
Every corrupt police department should be prosecuted under the Rico Statute
I would’ve demand for more tbh
He did.
What's going on with the cops in Milwaukee? These is the third time this year some bad officers doing what they ain't suppose to do in the field.
Good for him!
that this guy got one penny is a hate crime
This is what I hate. The payment should be coming out of the pension fund for police. Not tax payers money and the cops involved should be reprimanded monetarily. These guys don't learn anything they've been acting this way for decades. The only thing you can do is hurt their pockets not tax payers pockets
How did 8 cops show up for a parking violation. This is a ticket on the car. The guy was cooperating and no force was required.
Wow !
Without the video where would this action be?
Look at brown of sterling being so inspirational
Let that sink in "Parking Ticket"
Lol i live like 5 minutes away from this Wal Greens.
Until the settlements start coming from the cop's responsible, it will not stop.
It was because of his nba status that got him justice otherwise no one even would have even known about this
It scares me how "trained" our officers are. I always try to make an excuse for our men in blue but sometimes it is clear as day that some of them have Ego issues. A whole cities budget gone because a few officers wants to flex their status.
You cannot ever make an excuse for bad cops.
It should've been much more $$$ and a few fired 👮 👮 👮
End qualified immunity and prosecute guilty officers..it's that simple
The cops should go to prison for 10 years
As soon as money comes from another city....he is out of milwaukee....shows how that city really is
750k is too little they needed to pay 10 Million
Who tf wanna play in Milwaukee now smh
brogdan was telling the truth
Smh...
Wow
It happened in 2018...
Who’s he gonna sue for his strip club beatdown!! There’s a pattern developing with this clown!!
Willl never visit Milwaukee now
This would never happen to any of these guys on the panel . Have no idea what it’s like
Lol okay?
True that! They got the complexion for the protection
The police are still at it...
Now i know why police has a high fund its for the lawsuits that they commited
To mention this incident in the same sentence as the Jacob Blake one is ridiculous and dishonest. COMPLETELY different things!
not enough , fire those idiots , or have them publically apologize and admit that those where racially motivated actions
they never admitted it was a civil right's violation but that seems to be a major part of this news report..... you're making the city look far better than they deserve in this settlement.
1:30 Los pollos
Yo does that settlement money get taxed tho?
PEOPLE FORGET ABOUT RULE OF LAW, everyone deserves justice
It’s a crime that all they had to do was say they were in the wrong & then pay him with TaxPayer money!
Is the settlement taxed?
NBA player and a movie actor is good business that's how I believe this
Whos his lawyer?
Should've been more. What those pigs did to him was shameful and evil. Thank God he wasn't killed
The Milwaukee police department should be responsible for paying the entire cost, not the city itself which is underfunded as it is. The police officers involved should lose their jobs and be put in prison for unlawful assault. They often do not act when there is real crisis, or are slow to do anything useful, until they outnumber the "enemy 10-1" but will jump on you, hold you down and cuff you while they beat you, taser you, shoot you, and the rest of their cronies/goons stand by and watch - all for something as minor as a parking violation... and being a visible MINORITY (the worst crime of all in their eyes). It makes me sick that the people we're supposed to rely on for protection are in most cases prejudiced towards us and are able to attack us whenever they want by abusing their authority without meaningful consequence. They can murder us in our own homes while we sleep, later claiming it was the wrong house and be put on paid leave (a vacation) before being forgiven by the courts and returning to "work" aka harassment, bullying, terrorism etc. People will say it is only a few bad cops out there, but if the "good" cops do nothing to hold the bad ones accountable, then they are endorsing that behavior and allowing it to become part of police culture. The police officers who witness such horrendous acts perpetrated by their colleagues should step up and do the right thing/their jobs by arresting them on the spot, that would be real justice, real change. Maybe then the public would actually trust and respect the police force more, but it has to be earned
Blahblahblahblah
@@r6plays126 Do you disagree with my comment? I know you feel it is long, it is but the issue needs to be discussed. If something like this happened to you, your mom, your partner, or your child etc. you might feel the same way
I don’t believe the pd for a second
I bet he was compliant too lol
Yup. Police were very impatient as always
This social activism of NBA happened because today's players, led by Lebron and Chris Paul, are using their platforms to raise awareness to relevant issues.
What did he walk away with..
What should have been a parking ticket was turned into so something else by a liar. They spent so much time trying to find drugs or any reason to violate this man. And they wonder why folks dont like them
Did those officers get fired?
Nope😡
One did for posting about the incident on Facebook. He tried to get his job back but was denied by the fire police commission.
Only one did
No officer was sufficiently held accountable for this incident, infact its concerning that their still policing the streets today. The only sad conclusion here is again hard working tax payers are paying the bill for the incompetence of a racist police department and its leadership.
They have 3 white reporters doing this segment. They really messed up not having a player for this topic.
cops gets away Scott free again
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Im sure he just agreed to the ticket .
As a matter of fact he did the officer escalated the situation
@@kingjah6420 i hear ya.
This video is missing the point of view of one particular culture. This speaks volumes
Wow! 1 more reason not to visit USA.
Imagine if wasnt an NBA player?
that's kinda the whole point. even sterling said when it happened if he wasn't an nba player with resources this couldn't went a different way. police brutality happens to alot of people
Probably be in the hospital honestly
@@HB-ih9qp thats crazy. From that statement you can assume they knew who he was and STILL did that to him.
Should have been in the millions could have ruined his career
Of course he wanted more than just money he wanted MORE money. And if he wasn't an NBA player he might have ended up shot.
Wow there wasn’t an espn advertisement after. Wonder why?
Wish these guys stop taking settlements 🤦🏾♂️
He settled because they admitted their wrong doing.
Rachel got old 🤷🏾♂️
What the tf is going on with America its like the 18th century again
He just couldn't follow instructions, then he caused a cat 5 c.o . Who raises these people ?
Obviously ws raised you
@@kingjah6420 once again they only tell one side of the story all she had to do is follow procedure but for some reason they can't LOL and to be fair others who can't also wind up incarcerated or dead , is it really that hard to follow instructions?
You should ask yourself that question, because you haven't over the course of your life. Ask yourself that question, take a moment and do that now. Then you'll understand the reason why you're in whatever situation you're in now.
Comments section is fake
They should have thought about using more force
Police goin broke 2020

The issue probably won't be that bad if he learned how to park. I'll probably be on guard too if someone parks like that. Front in or back in, not take up 4 spots looking like he is ready to run.
Here is a 🥾 for you to 👅 😂
Pointless... after he pay his lawyers for going up against the nba’s lawyers... he’ll get a cool 250k.. mans deserved more
why did they take him to the ground...they did not take him down because he parked in the wrong spot
Go watch the video. He had his hands in his pockets, they told him to take his hands out. He says clearly “I have stuff in my hands hold on” and the impatient police man who didn’t know it was a NBA player grabbed on his harm, pulled it out of his pocket and wrestled him to the ground. Then let the police brutality begin. Don’t think it’s true go watch the video
Imagine the tragedies facing black families and communities losing their love ones every day. black on black crime that the NBA never addresses. not excusing the treatment of this player but putting things in perspective... it’s just a shame
white on black crime has been the only problem for 400 years buddy
But can he hit an open jump shot?
Yeah but what did he do for it to escalate to that point.....there's a lot more that happened than just he parked in the wrong spot
if he did something he wasn’t supposed to do he wouldn’t have gotten 750k and the city of Milwaukee admitting they violated his constitutional rights bud
watch the video and see for yourself.
he did nothing the cop escalated it watch the video
Well don't park in the wrong spot lol
Hilarious dude
Bruh I knew they had to be one of you, y'all are always lurking on sport's channel
@@tmoney579 what you mean lol
Yeah he did something wrong but the amount of punishment he received is severe. Just imagine if you were on his shoes, you mistakenly parked on the wrong spot. The next thing you know you got a mob of police ready to pounce, tazed and held you to the ground. Empathy is the key amigo.
