  • The latter part of this nation will not be rectified except by seeking sound Islamic knowledge.
The label Salafee-Jihaadee has been used to categorize Islamic groups that espouse violence against the West and Muslim regimes. The typology of Salafee-Jihaadee is met with vehement disapproval and criticism from adherents to Salafism. For this reason, the portrayal of Salafees as violent extremists requires scrutiny.
This study aims to make a unique contribution to knowledge of Salafism by surveying an extensive literature review, supplemented by interviews of known Salafee clerics based upon the premise that Salafism is an antidote to Islamic extremism rather than a cause of violent jihaad and terror.
In chapter one Salafism is defined and its key features as a movement are characterized and evaluated. Chapter two analyzes Salafees’ view and role in denouncing violence and extremism. Chapter three introduces alternative assessments of Salafism as a movement and evaluates the arguments put forth by its critics. Chapter four investigates Salafist perceptions of pluralism particularly in Western non-Muslim societies. Chapter five details the role of Salafees and their counter arguments to extremism. The final chapter details the conclusions of the research, which indicate that Salafism is not a precursor to violence, but rather the efforts of Salafee scholars offer effective counter-narratives to the jihaadee-takfeeree paradigm.

Mufti Muneer has shared platforms with Mufti Menk, Ali Dawah, Mo Hijab and recently he was in an event with sufis like Mikaeel Smith. as for Tahir Wyatt then he s still with baatil institute , his colleagues are hardcore deviants, no doubt. So how can we trust a person who might be very knowledgable but who does not implement his knowledge?

He's a ikhwani apologetic, stay well clear of him. As Ibn sireen said indeed this din is knowledge so be careful who you take your din from (introduction of sahih Muslim)

Akhi why ask about other men’s opinions on other men? Learn the truth by seeking knowledge and you will not need other people’s opinions إن شاء الله

Try to avoid these western scholars and shyks. You are living as a minority in these countries. I always listen to scholars and shyks from Pakistan as they have not been effected by liberalism and feminism.

@@KhalidGreen Thats good but I am just trying to point a reality in the west which is that since we are leaving as a minority we will ultimatly be effected by the majority to some extent. You can see that in the mosques with this sort of watered down liberal Islam. Best thing to do is if you know an alternative language then listen to those people.

    • @KhalidGreen

Then simply avoid those people you feel who compromise and listen to those who stay steadfast on the truth. Also, remember the reality and issues people face in Pakistan are not the same realities we face in the US and your practice should reflect this to a greater or lesser extent.

In many places in the quran it says to pray. How do you pray without following the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam
