Thanks for Friday !😁! I bought my son a RC car in 87 and we both stayed hooked. Lets have RC information fun on this channel . I like both new and old .
Hey my third car was a gold pan . First was the wild Willy (one) then a Tamiya fox. Australian ,retired from racing and working now use rc trucks to get daily exercise.
Hope you have a good weekend, my H10 Optic turned up.. had to wait for shipping to Oz, How big is the smile on my face...! It's such a cool rig. I skipped the Fordyce, and my other VP's are kits, so 1st RTR. I've made the promise to myself to not miss out on this Ripper, I still have nightmares of scoffing at the price of original one as I'd not long got into crawlers. Face palm. Although AUD$ price and shipping will be scary I'm sure. Cheers for the chat.
That’s awesome. Let me know your first impression after you drive it. We have good weather this weekend so plan on getting out with rebuilt optic and get a full day in.
@@theoriginfactory Optic is straight into tear down and upgrades, I've seen enough content from guys like yourself that let me know what I need to do and what I'll want. Appreciate your insight. Cheers
@@brianmorrison2846 I skipped Fordyce because I have a Phoenix portal kit...which is pretty much the same thing except for some subtle changes, most are arguably better except maybe the fact the transmission is heavier. I prefer having a larger overdrive and dig, and my Phoenix is tuned and performs great. I'd love to pick up one of everything from Vanquish but being in Australia I have to be a little choosey at between$900 to $1100 per truck with shipping plus tuning and electronics etc.. Cheers
@@mickd8188I have 3 Phoenix 1 ZOKU Phoenix and 1 built at Crawler Canyon (Steve) nothing beats the Fordyce with HD44’s except the VRD on a few lines. The Fordyce is under rated and time will tell
