I got a Wet Brush last year and I'm never going back to another brush! I have wavy but fine hair that gets tangled like CRAZY, and can break easily. It makes such a difference! I used to use a wide tooth comb before getting it and it took forever to detangle. And it hurt!
Thank you for the honest review. Just went to Target to purchase this because it is literally a battle zone for me and my daughter to brush our thick hair. I tested it out and it WORKED. No pain. No problems. Just two happy girls. Where was this brush my whole life?!
I’m so happy it worked out for you!!! I seriously can never use any other brush. It changed the game and hopefully brush time will be more enjoyable for you two now! 💕💕
I got this brush for the first time 4 years ago, today I replaced my original with a new one, which means it lasted a hole lot of time! This is my favorite brush to ever exist and I am never going back. Actually I can’t use any other brush because I’m so used to this one. I have a very thick hair that always get really tangled and all my life I struggled with it, brushing my hair meant a lot of pain. With this brush I can detangle my hair so easily and it never hurts. I love it so much I have one in my house, one in my boyfriends house, and one in my bag (the mini one) at any time U NEED THIS BRUSH IN YOUR LIFE, TRUST ME.
I just started using this and it really does workI've been using it for like 3 months already and it's amazing and made my hair it's like so soft know I tried your second favorite one
I'm a man who's been growing my hair out for the last 5 years. The paddle brush is absolutely the best I've purchased. My problem is my hair is so thick they break after only 3 months of use. I keep the receipts so I don't have to keep paying for them, but I'm hoping someone can give me an idea on how to reinforce the brush because it feels like stealing to me.
@@slashedbeauty It snaps right at the base. Along the second line of holes on the back. Gorilla glue would be a good option. My idea is use something like tongue depressors glued to the back or the metal equivalent of those. Thanks for answering. I was just curious if anyone else had this problem.
Thanks Miranda I have always wondered about these Brushes. I have heard Great things about them. I have fine, thin hair and I hate to Brush my hair sometimes. It tangled easily and comes out a lot. Especially when I wash it. It’s kinda oily and that one that distributes the oil thru it also. Brilliant. Always Enjoy ur videos.
I agree with you about the wet brushes being the best for thick hair (especially when detangling). I use the wet brush pro detangler which in my opinion works the best😊
My hair is super thin but super dense. (The strands are thin but I have lots of hair. Perfect tangling conditions) my hair gets ridiculously tangled after just going to bed, wet brushes have been a life saver.
It seems that you have enough experience with completely reverse hair brushes. Can I use a black hair brush on wet hair and does it cause hair loss? I suffer from severe hair loss after every shower and I do not have time to dry my hair 80% to comb. What do you advise me, I need a comb that does not cause hair loss, and I can comb my hair with it when it is wet and detangles the ❤❤❤ watching you from Egypt ❤❤❤
These have caused the least amount of hair loss or breakage for me when brushing wet! Remember you’ll always have natural shedding and the brush will catch that though.
Thank you so much for this video! I will definitely look into getting one. I have just one question, what about the pro thick hair detangler? I'm wondering if I should get that one or the regular detangler. I have long and thick hair.
I haven't tried that one actually, it's on the newer side!! Though I have very thick hair and a lot of it so the original is suitable for that. I am curious about that design!
I adore The Wet Brush - I remember you're the one who got me into it, thanks to your blog post a few years ago. I have the regular oval and the paddle ones and love both.
I love the wet brushes too! I holy grail! I have three of them. But what I hate the most is cleaning it. The lint gets stuck at the end of the brush. And it takes me hours to clean it. I have to pick off the lint one by one. Can you recommend or make a video of a good and effective way of cleaning them?
I got a wet brush a few months ago I have very thick and curly hair and normally after washing my hair I brush it out so it won't knot up, before the wet brush it was painful and difficult since my hair is so hard to brush dry I usually brush it wet and put it up in a ponytail but now with the wet brush I can brush my hair out like butter its just gently glides with my hair and made my hair healthier looking and I love it I tried and have the original one now i can brush my hair wet or dry and I love it.
Thankyou so much for making this video!🙏🏻💓I’ve been looking for a good brush for a while as my hair is very thick and hard to brush. I currently use two different purposed brushes in my hair every morning which sounds ridiculous but that’s just my struggle hehe 😂😭. I’m definetly going to look into wet brushes! I’m subscribing! 😆💓🙌🏻
Yeah when you have thicker hair or wavy just washing it kinks it up a bit. I have an older Ouchless goody brush which works great but its getting old and warped Haha.
My hairs so long and thick wavy and it would take me an hour using a wooden tek brush with the long pins it just felt like it’s not wide enough of a brush I kept getting hair pulled out as in loose 50-100 strains a day a few months using the brush but it works better then most brushes I used even taking my time with it known as one of the best combs but it’s sucks to get knots out with thick hair I only did it once a day being so time consuming definitely trying this out hairs past my back got sick and tired dealing with it good content.
I used wet brush, then I got the valentines day themed one (cause it was cute and my old one was breaking) and it doesn't work as well as my old one... That or my hair is too long for my brain to note. Also the detaingler brush, its a life saver
You got me when you said you have thick hair and have to brush it when you get out of the shower.. That's what I feel like most people don't understand there is NO, not taking a brush to our hair to get it straight or styled!!! Otherwise it is a tangled mess!!
Yesss!!! I know it's bad to brush wet hair, but if I just let it dry, it will be a messss. I've started to brush it in the shower with conditioner on but I still need to do a quick pass once I rinse!
Yes! It basically distributes the oil that is sitting at your scalp so that it moves down the hair and gives you a lot of shine (and also helps your scalp from getting too oily)
Wet brushes work really well but the bristles always get messed up. There are plenty of brushes that are exactly like Wet brushes (Wet and Dry brush by Cala) that are much more sturdy.
You'll shed hair naturally throughout the day so that's the hair that will get caught in the brush. Not sure what you mean about the second part of your question.
I love the speed dry for in-shower brushing because I don't have to worry about it collecting mildew or anything. Also incredibly easy to clean if you shed a lot/have long hair. I feel like the original is SLIGHTLY more gentle so it just depends on what your priorities are. Also if you're blow drying regularly with it, the speed dry will be more convenient!
@@slashedbeauty which brush do you like better the original oval wet brush or detangling brush? I can’t decide between the original or new pro brushes with rubber at the bottom. Also what brush do you use with your straightener?
I actually use scalp focused hair care, and then use several curly-focused styling products that have conditioning effects. Derma E Scalp Relief shampoo and conditioner is my fave.
I bought the Conair version of the Wet Brush since it was a couple dollars less, but I could NOT get it through the hair on top of my head when it was soaking wet and plastered to my head. Now I'm wondering if I should have just bought the Wet Brush or if it would do the same thing :(
“It would take me to 30-45 minutes to brush my hair” I laughed because I take 7 hours. That’s how tangled it gets in 1 day. Interesting... maybe running gorilla glue along the edge where the fabric part meets the plastic? I'm assuming that's what you're pulling out right?

7:51 I have that brush. Too bad the handle broke off because one of the people on my wrestling team snapped it.😑
Oh no!!!!
I decided to fully get the knots out of my hair today. I’ve been brushing for 35 mins and I need to start over 🤦🏼♀️ it’s a struggle
Girrrrrrl you need one of these!! That's how it used to be with my hair!
This is the first time I have bought a product based on a RUclips video but you seem genuine. Can’t wait to get mine and try it out.
I’m so excited for you! Still the only brush I use!!
how are these videos not more popular? also, i love wet brushes. i have the normal detangler one and one or two of the smaller ones. They're great.
Same! They're a staple!!
I got the mini one since it's cheaper. I hope it works for me. Im still waiting for it to arrive.
❤️ it too. I am planning to get the Shine variant.
It's my fave of them all!

I agree with you about the wet brushes being the best for thick hair (especially when detangling). I use the wet brush pro detangler which in my opinion works the best😊
I love my Wet Brush! I always get the black ones so they don't end up multicoloured from dye.
I just bought the bamboo one, its actually so good!
I can't use ANY other brush!!
I like your prior video montage featuring this brush. I have it and I like it
The WetBrush looks fantastic!

What about the Wet Brush Pro !
So I haven't noticed a huge difference between the original and the Pro-- but I am currently using a Pro and it's just as great!
Do you have a video on how to easily take off lint on the wet brush?
No, but I usually use the tail part of a thin comb to pull out hair and lint!

Fill the sink with warm water, put a good helping of apple cider vinegar and baking soda and let it sit in their for 20 mins roughly? Works well.

I have Tangle Teezer and it’s great but I don’t have thick hair. Not sure how it would work for you.
I am lucky that my conditioner is great at detangling. I use a wide tooth comb. The Wet Brush is cool-looking however
I have too much hair just for a wide tooth comb, it never gets it all!

That's interesting! I have several in the "fun" limited colors but theyve all worked the same!
How do you clean your pink boar bristle brush I have one like that but it's gathered fux and if I clean it it just pulls out the boar stands
I’ve never had that issue! I clean it out after every 4-7 uses just with my fingers!

Wet brush is a must!
Wet Brush is to flimsy for my hair. I love the Wet Comb.
I need more than just one layer of tines, brushing my hair with a comb takes forever!
I can’t even get any comb through my hair literally
So is that green and pink wet brush make your hair shiny when you brush your hair

Can someone recommend me a wet brush ? I have straight fine hair and i don’t know what wet brush to choose thank you

Slashed Beauty thank u for the response !! ♥️

Is there a difference between the wet brush and wet brush pro? Or are they the same?
I've had both and don't notice much of a difference besides the wet brush pro has a softer plastic instead of a shiny plastic.
Do you prefer this over the tangle teeter brush?
a MILLION percent! The tangle teezer bristles are too short for my thick hair
@@slashedbeauty which brush do you like better the original oval wet brush or detangling brush?
I can’t decide between the original or new pro brushes with rubber at the bottom.
Also what brush do you use with your straightener?
@@Ohkeh640 They are both detangling brushes-- but I do find myself using the oval wet brush the most often, with my straightener as well.
