5:30 The second "Are you ready?!" is done by Momo from BabyMetal. Yes, BM has a harsh vocalist now. It's the girl they focus on during the "Everybody" part at the end, she is also growling there while the EC guys are doing cleans.
Suzaka (Su-chan/Su-Metal). Yeah. She can definitely growl and go deep. She's won multiple awards in Japan.
One of the BEST ways I've ever found to describe metal is intensity. Most associate it with anger, that's just the easiest to resonate with. I'd argue the reason this works so well is that intensity, but it's joy.
Let's just metal can increase the intensity of emotions, a lot of bands just choose anger, but it's not (always) needed.

I saw BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy collaborate live (FOX_FEST) last weekend. It was so much fun! All the crowd (about 20,000 people over 2 days) was so excited too!🤣😍
Were you in the pit? I was and it was complete mayhem in there. Easily the wildest pit I've been in in Japan. So fun!
Im 52 years old. Always a fan of most music and media that's new. This collaboration kinda brings those things together reaching back to the early 90's and raking it all up into a pretty damn good culmination of what was once a fringe culture. Hats off

One thing that I love about this collaboration...out of a hundred thousand things total...is that in meshing the two bands they had newcomer Momometal do harsh vox towards the end. So it wasn't just Kevin and Nico. They embraced everything perfectly.
Babymetal has a lovely way of finding stadium sized gaps in the music scene. Don't think anyone knew we needed a JPop-metal-EDM-party banger but here we are.

Babymetal's live shows are a mass of strobe lights, flickering video displays, and lasers, so you can't be sensitive to that sort of thing if you want to see them.
I was at FOX_FEST last weekend where they performed this live twice and it went unbelievably hard. The crowd just went nuts for it.
This song is going to be massive for both groups. I hope they see how successful it is and decide to collaborate more. Something like a Babymetal X EC EP would be amazing.

Epilepsy fact, there are specific repetition frequencies that set it off, so they’ll either dim flashing sequences or make sure they’re spaced out enough to not trigger it (Japan started doing it way earlier than we did because of that Pokemon fiasco). There are disability consultants who help video games and music videos etc etc do it and they have guidelines to help, so if you see flashing lights in an industry production it’s *usually* epilepsy safe now

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 (Japan time) . Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. That was great, too.
The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍

Interesting comparisson Babymetal and Electric Callboy are like Christmas and Easter having a Baby. Its not so far off. Many people didn't realize how complicated this track is. It sounds simple at first, but if you start to parse which element comes right now from which babd the trouble starts. At first they have distinctive elements but later Babymezals whoo- whoo and "counting" therevis suddenly Momo in several places

Yes, it was insane! I just saw them perform together at FOX_FEST in Japan. BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy gave us the happiest and the most fun five minutes of our lives. Yes, the arena full crowd went nuts, jumping up and down, shouting Ra Ta Ta Ta! and Ooh!, Ooh! There was something magical going on there. I am getting withdrawals now. The joy should never stop here. All kinds of shit happens in the world. The world needs to experience this amazing collaboration now.🤘🦊🤘
