Too bad the airline industry will try and delay any and all speed trail upgrading throughout the US. Think of all the jobs created by updating the US rail system to high speed capability 200+mph.

That you need to have us marvel at the fact that there's a modern Russian aircraft (slower mind you, by mach1) that can out maneuver and climb faster than a plane that was developed in US almost three quarters of a century ago specifically for recon?
