- Extended footage of a Cab Ride trip to Jim Thorpe, PA. The Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railways excursion. The EMD SD 50 is ex MP-UP 5033. Ride on ex CNJ trackage and cross 2 bridges at Nesquehonig Junction. Finally there is a meet with Reading & Northern 4-6-2 steam locomotive 425 at Coal MP 127 as she heads back to Duryea PA.
I really wish they would paint another SD50 or SD40-2 like this. It was such a beautiful paint scheme. It's a shame this thing blew up.
Its cool they left the UP logo on the seat!

Lever. A button goes full blast, not quilling like it was when he was challenging the steam locomotive
