Superchunk are genuine indie rock legends. So proud to have them be from my home state.
The world is a better place thanks to KEXP
Been a fan for 20+ years. New Low is my all time favorite song from them
Same... Requested New Low at a Nashville show mid 90's and they couldnt remember it lol.
lovely interview anecdotes, i feel like superchunk rocks harder than ever
This band is amazing and I'm glad I'm just getting into them. Also the new studio space is gorgeous!
SO GOOD
What a treat!
Superchunk!!! thank you guys
So flippin good
The best
Best band in the world!
Love the music, can’t stand the narcissism. I’ll get over it like I always do, because Superchunk has always been THAT great. He’s earned it. 😂
SUPERCHUNK!! North Carolina alum
NC represent baby
i live in NC and the only things i like about it are my family and Superchunk.
Coachella 07'? only band I really came to see and Paul McCartney was headlining. Norfolk VA opening up for the getup kids and every band member signed my merch shirt except Mac. Miss my Laura, and SUPERCHUNK! will always be on my playlist, "Why do you have to put a date" on the workout rotation.
Bob Mould plays with the rhythm section seen here as well.
the bass player is in bob mould's band. he plays for laura in live shows b/c she cant anymore b/c of ear problems.
Jon has played with Bob Mould as well.
Met Bob once back in the day. All I could say was "Great show; Thank you; you are great." He was really nice!
His announcement of the song names is so scott pilgrim. vewy eppiccc
Man, the bass player looks like Tommy Stinson big time.
Husker Duesque
Fix the mic we need to hear the vocals
Man i miss Laura
i know. ive seen Superchunk a couple times since she has not been able to play. the first time she was not there i was in shock and did not know why she was gone.
i read an interview where she said she developed an ear problem, which touring made more difficult to deal with. at least she's still involved in making records!
yep...ive been wearing ear plugs at shows for 30 years...there is the reason why.
I'm 52; went out with some friends tonight after work and I can't hear shit when there's background noise. Too many great loud rock shows!
So, like... What are they talking about? I mean, What was going on by the time? What's that situation they keep bringing out? You know, politics, civil rights and stuff, I mean, What I am missing??
I mean, there's always something, right?
Am I the only one that can barley hear the vocalist??
I can't believe Mac is a massive Trump supporter...
But he isn't . . . www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/superchunk-on-finding-hope-in-trump-resistance-205956/
Oh yes he most certainly is.

@@erikkennedy I am correct I could care less about the article. That's the problem with people like you. You believe everything you read.
