My channel was hacked last Friday and four videos that were uploaded weren't mine. I deleted them of course. This channel is not made for hacking video procedures. Fortunately I got it back with the help of Google support. So enjoy this new video. Also membership is now available if someone wants to support this channel. Thank you.
It will be better option to upgrade it with NVME SSD for faster storage speeds, although the board does not have M.2 slots, but this machine already supports boot from PCIe, so you can use M.2 drive with PCIe adapter
The heatsink in the video is good for PCs because it pushes the air against the memories, while the airflow of these Dell workstations starts from the front, where there are system fans and goes towards the rear. On the internet you can find photos of the Noctua NH-U9DX i4 heatsink mounted on the 2 Xeons of the Dell T7810 and in fact I also mounted this Noctua model on my t7810, because it has 2 adapters with which to mount the heatsink in one direction or turned by 90 degrees . The Noctua NH-U9DX i4 model also has 2 fans so it cools well. Another important information, do not use the 4 original springs to fix this Noctua heatsink model, because the springs are very hard, just put 3 small helical washers in place of each spring.
I think I have the same DELL. It's a PRECISION 5810. I want to upgrade too. Everything is factory. Do you think a GTX 970 will be good for it without serious bottlenecking?
@@M_Hashir_Javed definitely one of the best PC's I've ever built as far as a workstation , "bad ass" as in really really good, still to this day I use it for everything including VR and multiple media uses at the same time and it just powers on, no problem, really really good PC when you top it off completely.

Sata 2.5 inch ssd's r much more reliable tho,on my last gaming pc it would get hot and slow the computer down and it was a tip brand one aswell.

Motherboards are $20 and 18c cpus are $30. A compelling proposal.

My dell t5810 has dual 4 pin pcie connectors, the gpu requires 1 x 8pin, is it safe to use them both as 8 pin?
Heck yeah XD I have this exact machine and it's pretty bad ass for gaming
bad fps?

which type of GHz for this CPU? Does it make any difference for this model INTEL XEON E5-2697 v4 Thanks.
RAM is facing the heat sink fan. It needs to be isolated or the a different type of heatsink. Nice video, Thanks
Nice video
