Vice-Madame is definitely a good start but Witchcrafters still need more support.
We still have room for a field spell and a level 6 monster. Hopefully they make good use of those
They need searcher especially spell/trap (that literally said "add 1 witchcrafter card") or more draw support
@@saskara6641: We already have Creation to search for monsters so it would need to be a card that searches the s/t cards (Patronus is good but slow for the purpose we need it for). Maybe a monster that has the effect to add a witchcrafter spell. Schmietta can mill any witchcrafter card so she’s not being powercrept yet.
field spell that adds a witchcrafter card on activation, and once per turn it lets you send a witchcradfter spell from deck to gy to activate a witchcrafter eff.
@@giangole: Someone in another video suggested that they’d need a link monster that just lets them send spells from deck to graveyard instead of hand to activate Witchcrafter effects, though a field spell would be better since that can be used immediately while a link monster requires you to already be in motion to get value.
I had suggested before a card (maybe link monster) that allows you to use the Witchcrafter effects on your opponent’s turn. The biggest issue with the deck isn’t just the fact that you lose your hand advantage to get out monsters. It’s the fact that the whole gimmick of the deck (retrieving your spells) takes so long to do. You can’t activate a spell and get that spell back during the same end phase, and rather than changing that whole mechanic (like how Lamda changed the effects of Psy-Frames or Malefic Territory changed the effect of Malefics), just make it so Witchcrafter effects to retrieve themselves can be activated during your end phase and then witchcrafter normal effects can be used during your opponent’s turn.
it's so weird how witchcrafter got a fusion of all things and somehow thats what the deck needed
It kinda makes sense since fusion monster normally requires fusion spell card, which means we have a powerful fusion monster and a spell card that goes back to hand to fusion summon again on your next turn or use for resource on the opponent's turn. It's a 2 for 1 kinda a deal

It's poly that can be recycled and searched by witchcrafter and fusion search spells. It's way better than poly.

Y'all should see WitchcrafterBrandedBrave do it's thing. Surprisingly really good, Vice-Madame is really nutty in any fusion strategy.
I’m honestly surprised at some of the decks on the bottom table… Obviously these decks are “bad” in the competitive sense but some of these (Snake Pit and Witchcrafter) are genuine competent strategies that I have played against before. I mean after MAMA released I knew about Branded Witchcrafter and for that first month after release I encountered it multiple times.
Tbh this deck in master duel is not that bad. In real life however when that grass look green was banned, this deck will struggle a hell of a lot.
Pretty good showcase of the deck, all the replays were solid and the deck itself was being played for the most part inmaculate
Didn't have the courage to invest more into the deck in MD so really glad someone finally brought in my favorite garbage deck :D
I do like this list quite a lot although I don't think 3 Illusionist is really necessary when Souls can just send the second Haine. It's also worth noting that this deck runs really nicely off of a double branded engine with Fusion Conscription for Cartesia, the Virtuous, both of which lessen the number of Witchcrafters you need in hand to pull off a Fusion, which generally makes them better than the garbage in archetype fusion

Me: Ya know, throughout all the times ash blossom has effed me up... It just occurred to me I only ever pull hand traps from reasoning.
I really love watching these decks in platinum and above. Really shows how good a deck can be when playing under non ideal conditions (3 hand traps)

This is my religiously played archetype, been using it with Branded, Magistus, Spellbook AND EVEN ALEISTER

Witchcrafter has always been one of my favourite decks to play!
Love to see Witchcrafters on! One of my favourites to play and surprisingly easy to mix with other archetypes. My favourite so far has been Runick. Lots of extra spells for reasoning, good draw power, and enough removal that you don't need the battle phases you skip. I still need to try branded though, I've heard good things.
Sussy Verre negating your right to perform an action, Haine and Vice Master destroying everything in their way. You can't hate these girls for giving a fight to anyone (just don't send the smug to the shadow realm)

I built this deck before the fusion monsters came out and golden lord worked well with the spells
the Confusion Confession being an UR is so unfair, probably one of the worst in archetype fusion spell
ill always main witchcrafters. i fused it with tearlaments for a ridiculous 60 card deck that is soo fun

As a casual Grass Zombie enjoyer seeing Witchcrafters always is something special...had my most awkward and scuffed (but weirdly fun) duels, when we both "bricked" on the funny "i win" button.
I have a lot of fun with witchcrafters for casual play!
I have a similar deck but I also use Cartesia and summoner Monk to turbo fusion with a little shaddoll. I'm at diemon 3, but so far can't go any higher because of the flood of tear and branded
This deck is one of those deck that can afford to play 9 board breaker and using them for fuel, great in bo1.
Since it barely uses the extra deck, it’s not too expensive to create.
Everytime I go up against witchcrafters, they go through a 4 minute combo with no interruptions and still end on a 1500 beat stick

Witchcrafter when I play against them on Master Duel: Normal Summon, effect, chain Ash, pass turn, die.

I was getting really excited to see how good a witchcrafter deck performs in today's meta. And then got hugely disappointed to see it mostly works because of master duel specific cards which are banned in the tcg.
I am actually surprised. No grass in tcg, though, maybe an Ishizu engine with diviner. But that uses a normal.
Maybe just the ishizu cards can go a long way, you probably can even play gravekeepers trap in this deck
Apparently there's a Witchcrafter variant that plays Magistus stuff that works pretty well. If grass ever gets banned in master duel I'm probably gonna move over to that one.
I think I found the archetype I needed for my deck with the Dragonmaid.

You can actually play this deck with branded and its so much better.
Even if not this deck can be improved alot with cartesia or even magistus verre which is a spellcaster that searches a fusion spell (if you cant afford cartesia in tcg)

Would someone be kind enough to tell me the names of waifu Sincro, xyz and link? They are the monsters and evocations that I absolutely love most and since I want to have fun and I've been playing master duel for a month, I would like to create a deck that in addition to beauty is also on average strong, that's the bare minimum. To make you understand the waifus should be like the princess tamer of flames. Remember that I prefer Sincro, xyz and link female monsters. If you could mention some names I would be grateful

Yes, I will say it is worse than Dark Magicians. At least for me personally, I have not lost a single game on ladder to Witchcrafters even after their most recent support. I have however dropped games to Dark Magicians so 😂
