This event was supposed to be a meme, but turned out to be the most fun master duel experience yet
Honestly I love how quickly the meta evolved from “just regular ranked but faster” to “burn baby burn” to “anti-burn” and a lot of cards that won’t usually see play got their day in the sun
We need more events like this.
This was the worst event ever made. It’s literally the most oppressive meta ever to exist. You could only FTK and did so with nearly 100% chance And there was no going 2nd cards

Opponent at 12:40 was so locked into burn damage mode that they didn't even realize attacking with the 1700 Shadowpriestess of Ohm after your monster was cleared was just clean game.

for those wondering, damage juggler can't negate gallis because the damage isn't guaranteed

By far the most toxic format in master duel but still had more fun than ladder😂
This event is the only time anyone in history had ever played Eco, Mystical Spirit of the Forest and it deserves a win for that alone. I also ended up making a pretty good blind second deck with toons, since direct attack damage is like burn damage but doesn't actually trigger all the anti burn cards.
I played Eco long ago on YGOpro when u knew your opponent and what he was playing when marched. For those burn playera xp
I also played it on this event again, and probably the caes that gave me more wins
Eco was sided alot during pend ftk as far as I know too
This event was so wonderful because of the deck building portion of it..
There were so many strange cards I've never saw before until this event rolled around..
Who would've though there would be so many cards that had effects when it comes to effect damage..
I also love how much instant back and forth interaction there was with trying to counter the opponent's burn cards..
I ran into a monster that makes you take no effect damage. Was basically a towers playing burn lol

Performage fire eater and others can blank burn effect for entire turn, borgar can burn for 1500.
If normal yugioh is a fighting game, this is divekick.
If only Konami had given 2024 gems insted of 20+24 gems...

Farfa going from ridiculing a man playing his tearlaments to getting cooked extra well done by a michelin star chef is the funnest thing on this entire channel
I appreciate this event even more when I think about how it is possible for players to make a video detailing their experience in this event on such an understandable level

i played dinomorphia for this event. Suprisingly effective with the anti-burn GY effects
I caused people to quit when I first turned Lantern.
There are a few other hilarious cards that worked against the anti burn meta, like making me remember rainbow life existed. Extra Veiler to counter Leonidas attacks if they get to go second and do stuff is also funny.
My jaw literally dropped when i went to deck building for this event only to see that they had made 0 changes to the banlist, including all the burn cards
i hope we expand on these events that require new deckbuilding ideas and memes. really makes every event feel more special

Eco straight up won a UDS for me! That card is soooo underrated!
In this event I stubbornly decided to play VW, because by using tzolkin it could turbo out the red dragon archfiend that burns, and if you had a full board it would burn for 2500 exactly.
Anyway, it took me 2 hours to do it, then I played the event normally using burn cards and finished it in 5 minutes

If this event went on longer, I probably would have gone from playing "Kagari Burn"(use Drones Engine to search Akash, flip Spiritual Fire Art using that or Fire Princess if I can climb, and direct with Hayate if they somehow manage to survive all that) to Trickstar Striker with a vicious combination of hand looping Lycoris Traps and Burn Spells.

This event was really fun. I caused a lot of ragequits with Prime Material Dragon Turbo.
I played this event non-stop the entire time it was live and racked up 860 legacy packs...
Literally more fun than playing ranked on a reset.

I really liked this event. It was a meme format and it really forced players to build decks in a compleatly different way
These comments really confuse me. It just changes the meta to the most oppressive foul concept to ever exist and removes all skill involved. I would rather go back to full power tear format then this garbage

That Driftviel City music plus the BA support joke is why I continue to watch Farfa even though I might not play Yu-Gi-Oh anymore.
I just used a standard Gem Knight FTK combo with Gem Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli’s ability looped once or twice with Gem Knight Master Diamond. It was too fast and too strong against hand traps to lose.

I pulled out my old nurse burn deck for this one. I didn't run into any of the counter decks but I think I would've had a good chance against them.
It’s was a mess, but fun to play outside the box.
I steamrolled with this awful N/R burn crap I threw together and somehow did enough burn damage to get the burn damage steam achievement.
Really like this event, finally i can use my trickstar burn deck

This event gave me too much PTSD form the early format of duel links when you'd get burn FTK'd 5 games in a row, although at that time the only counter was eco it does actually look like a bit more fun to play with more options

It's funny how you could play swordsoul for both extreme duels. The deck is fast if you just aim for chixiao barone blackout pass and you could always do chixiao and the burn synchro made with longyun so it burns for 1200 and then as soon the opponent activates a spell they get another 1200 and they are dead

i’m surprised no one played red-eyes. the meteor dragon fusion burns for 2400 on summon if u send a red-eyes to gy, so red-eyes fusion would’ve been an easy 1 card ftk lmaooooo

I played this event on galaxy eyes and my entire win condition was galaxy wave. its a galaxy spell therefore its searchable
