PERSONALLY IF THERE TOO BUILD A BRAND NEW STADIUM. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE LEAZES PARK. WHICH WOULD MEAN. YOU'D PROBABLY STILL BE ABLE TOO SEE THE NEW STADIUM FROM THE CITY CENTRE. COS I FULLY BELIEVE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE. AN ALMOST IDENTICAL LOCATION
i am so interested in the decision that will be made, the investments can already be seen, this city in 10 years will not be as we see it now. i am son excited for NUFC and the fans.
IF NUFC decide to build a new ground, then I would very much hope it looks like St James Park to a large extent. For example, copying the general design of the Leazes and Milburn stands as they are, but completing the whole bowl. I think that would look like an awesome stadium, and it would be a classy nod to St James'.
Both locations mentioned are not even in the running. Metro Arena site is too small, Leazes Park for those too young to remember is also out. "No business on the Moor" anybody?
I would build the new stadium down on the river bank ,or across at Newburn industrial Estate, plenty of space for 90 to 100 k seating capacity . The U21,and younger developing team and WSL team can use St James.
It's great in theory and yes you could easily build a 90 000 capacity stadium there but then how would you get 90 000 fans there? There is only one road single lane leading to newburn ind estate there area is not served by any trains or any metros and that's before the outcry from residents of Lemington and newburn who won't want 90 000 people descending on there area every time there is a home game.
It’s not pronounced James it’s pronounced Jameses ! Yes the East stand is single tier but the Gallowgate is two tier ! With the Milburn and leazes stands three tiers
It's a no brainer to to remain at St James Park. The stadium is too nice to blow up. Just expand the Gallowgate and build a new East Stand. Hopefully Leazes Terrace will be demolished
Its not "they" who build a new stadium its "WE" that build and pay for it. the fans will pay thru the nose price the little guy out in this run down part of the UK. Its milk and honey to the few bread and dripping for the rest.
It’s clear they want to stay…says who? There’s plenty of us lifelong fans born like me in 1970 who’ve seen us win nought so nae sentiment…bulldoze and completely rebuild at different angles to get rid of pesky Leazes Terrace problem…Leazes Park would be ideal but too many tree huggers imo😂
totally agree, people saying it would be wrong to flatten the ground because its historical but how much of the current ground is original? probably none so lets cut the crap flatten and build a new start with a new stadium and stop holding onto relics from the past, Leazes park is barely used (apart from as a short cut) and at night is full of drunks and drug users so make use of this land and inject some capital into the city by developing these areas when we can.
@ 💯 mate, I cut through Leazes Park on me way to the ground on the odd chance I get a ticket now I live in Lancashire and it’s a dump, run doon and aye full of drunks and muppets😜it would look mint to have a park area where St. James’s is noo and a beautiful walk through to an epic stadium 🏟️👊
@@darrenmechen1136they build the new stadium on leazers park then flatten SJP once it’s complete or majority completed, , we would play at SJP until then
There won't be any change. The Saudis are focusing on domestic investment and don't like burning money. A £billion for 10 thousand extra seats is £100,000 each. No return. No point in doing it.
Should stay where it is ! No foreign owner should have the right to interfere in any clubs roots & history ! I am not from Newcastle just a huge football fan but do what is right for the fans they pay the wages !!
Remain i love hearing people crying i can't get a ticket 😂😂😂😂😂😂 where were they under Ashley when he was forced to give 10k half season tickets away those who are crying who could attend games under Ashley? Glory supporters
Brand spanking new stadium in leazes park. 80, 000 safe standing/seater power house. To be the envy of the 🌎. ....
Yes huge amount of fans want a new stadium,
A new stadium in Leazes Park would hardly be a move, start building it tomorrow please 😊
Brand new stadium next to St James into Leazers park. Also invest in Leazers park in relation to improving the green space
Also adopt tigers and feed the world
Leazers park 👌🏻 perfect place
A new stadium inside the leazes park please 🙏
The Leazes Park Stadium plan solves the spatial problem, the "where to play during construction" problem and hopefully the planning problem.
New is the answer
It's Good Club..

Look it is clearly a good Idea 92 000 stadium if they want to fill it make tickets cheeper they still get a good profit easier way

Opinions are welcome by all, no one is right or wrong.
But one can disagree 🎉

You can’t demolish leazes they are listed buildings
@johnw7409 it is possible to demolish grade 1 listed buildings
@DanielCordone9 not when they house students 😂
@@ii-k3lv1n-iimwap80 yar, it's crucial for students to reside there
Need to move outside city, need a SPECTACULAR, stadium. Not like liverpool's, it's a hash of a stadium. Bits and pieces.
A new stadium
Rubbish, the Metro Arena is out of it because it is not big enough

Move! I am a fan and I want a move. A modern team needs a modern stadium for modern business and entertainment.

It's not just about season ticket sales, is it?
@maxwood910 that's the only tangible benefit. Getting another 10000 people watching won't bring success and will cost them a fortune.
Build a new home
