That's true! I once read in a blog from one of the lodges in SS that when the Mapogos ruled that area there were barely other male lions to see around because Mapogos either killed them or made sure they would not come close... that was until Rasta and Dread died... with them gone along with Shaka they were not the same as Mr T being the youngest would not have the same chances to defend.

If you watch the long doc on the Mapago boys you'll notice that Kinky Tail has the most intimidating stare by far of all the brothers. He stares at you with murderous intent.

Most people dont realize that the Mapogos territory was bordered on three sides and the only way onto their territory was through the eastern sector which was controlled by Mr .T and Kinky Tail, who defended it against any and all intruders till Kinky Tails death when Mr.T went back to his other four brothers in the western sector..

The Mlowathi boys, my favourite ever lions. Loved these boys they were so special, super aggressive, there bind with each other was truly remarkable. They enjoyed being in each other’s company, it’s a disgrace that humans were the demise of the mapogos. RIP 🙏

Agreed. The western Mapogo brothers were literally protected from other coalitions from the east by the legendary Mlowathis KT and T. To get to Mackulu you had to get by KT and T, and that was literally impossible; assuming the rangers didn't get involved. There has never been a duo like them. A close second is the southern Matimbas, Hairy belly and Ginger.

these two big balls bad ass brothers defeated 2 manyeleti males, 2 gijimas males, 2 unknown nomadics males, 2 golf course males, 3 toulon males, 1 roaller coaster males, 3 nomadics males, 2 robson males , 2 other nomadics males, 5 majingilanes in day battle killing one of them, and in the night KT vs 4 majingilanes , more unknown lions casualites occurred on that time and other fights that were not documented because they happened at night.
@@donlion7097 Absolutely: you speak the truth. Many don't realize that when KT and T killed the 5th Majingilanis male who by the way was the dominant one of the Majings, the other four ran away. They came back carefully and realizing that KT was sedated along with T; then did they massacre KT the brave. And for all people who claim that T wasn't around: well my answer to them is simple. It takes time to get off from the effects of the dart.
Really liked the way you described it. They definitely were the front soldiers and you said it best: when KT and T died, the downfall of both halfs of the Mapogo empire was sealed. One more thing which I'm sure you know Don Lion is that the other sad tragedy is that in addition to what you said , l just can't help but think how things would've been had not the mysterious disappearance of the other two Mapogo fighters, and good ones too, Rasta and Dreadlock.
@@guspapadopoulos43 very sad tragedy my friend, because dreadlocks and rasta were the most powerful Mapogos in 2010 dreadlocks and rasta poaching made mapogos vulnerable, the story could be change if they was there when selaties arrived in 2012, and surely they would have ruled for many more years, unfortunately human intervention affected their members and their offspring.

I've said this before, that watching and hearing KTs screams of agony is becoming unbearable and very difficult to watch. I mean I've seem several lions killing and injuring other lions; but never as unfair, and brutal as this. I would love it if they named a constellation for Kinky tail. Calling it" Kinky Tail the Brave."

Many talk about The Mapogos but while I agree they were a Mighty Band of Brothers (technically all brothers except 1), The Majingliane Brothers, imho, were a different animal. Lions have been known to eat other lions, some instances such as a Mother's cub we have come to understand but generally when it's a fight, it's to leave their adversary unable to fight & to die.
I've seen The Majingliane eat Lionesses that were from other prides, sub adults instead of running them off & as we saw, Kinky Tail & probably Mr. T. I know their bloodlines may still be present but I'm sorta glad the time of the Cruel Aggressive Coalition has quieted (don't want to jinx it).✌

It is known both MrT and KT would meet with their other brothers every once in a while. It's a shame they did not have one of their brothers close when they were at war with the Majingilanes. Pretty Boy and Rasta would often visit them :)

Yes Mr T and Kinky Tail were awesome legends but make no mistake Makhulu was the badass and the leader for many years. He outlived all his brothers and died of old age. Fifteen years old when he died equivalent to 90 years human age.
Amazing animal Kinky Tail was, but at :53 did you hear the roar from Mr. T in the background. Now that had to be powerful considering he wasn't being shown in that particular capture👍🏿

I love these two but we seem to forget Makulu's importance to the group. He was the strongest, the best fighter and the firm leader. Had Mr.t and kinky tail not leave the group because Makulu gave Mr.T a good cutass they would've still ruled..Only old age could've defeated them!!

the problem was they are too powerful and high Testosterones they couldnt live together thats why they divided but mangalanese are preparing for them only way for mapogos to win is to stick together but makulou and mr t had a quarrel so they wouldnt merge until kinky tail died then mr T went back but killed their own bloodline mapogos cubs very sad.
i wish mr t didnt do that cos the genes of mapogos must prevail before mangalane coalition comes
