Our Story:
We are six years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our
journey!

"Glug Glug Glug" no more!! With two pieces of equipment needing diesel, we couldn't accept the aggravation of filling up with these impractical fuel tanks that spill fuel every time. This fix is quick, cheap and simple--hope this helps others!!
Ok, this addresses a real issue that I have and I never even tried to fix it, I just have complained about the cans. I am going to order some and fix my cans! Great suggestions!
Lucas, go ahead and get the nozzle kit too. I didn't put it in the video, but I added an Amazon nozzle kit and it fits and works great.
Very cool, Brad. Unvented cans are so annoying. I like the cans I use because they never leak and the button's in a good spot, but they could use a vent. Thanks for sharing, buddy!
I replaced that complicated nozzle with a simple flexible one from Amazon and now that tank is a pleasure to use. Thanks for stopping by David. B&D
Brad I have used many of those vents over the years , hate the new cans. Thanks for your good videos.
I think everyone hates them! Thanks for watching. Brad&Deb
Now just add a gas can spout replacement and you will be golden. Got mine off of Amazon.
You are 100% correct and the new nozzle is already on there....it just didn't make the video! Thanks for watching. B&D
Venting the fuel can is going to affect the ozone layer? When you pour the fuel in to your farm/yard equipment, aren’t the fumes escaping from the entry port of the tank you’re filling up? The EPA is just another government entity, that is controlling our lives. Just like the Diesel Particulate Filters on compact tractors.
Non-vented tanks create so many problems....you should see how much a boat gas tank expands in the hot sun!! While I don't enjoy $5.50 diesel, I do enjoy how much easier it is to pour into my equipment now. No spilling!! Thanks for watching. B&D
20 minutes talking about what doesn’t work
All our cans have these vents....you do have to replace them occasionally but it's better than not having the vents.
