I have just finished reading Dennis Prager’s Exodus in his Rational Bible. That veil that lies over the hearts of non Messianic Jews is so visible. He entirely misses the wonderful spiritual truths in the tabernacle. So good to hear Dr. Soref. I pray for Dennis who loves Christians but cannot see Messiah.
you might be interested in taking a closer look at the book of Hebrews that explains/reveals all the OT things as 'types and shadows' of Christ. The trinity is even shown in the construction of the temple...having 3 parts, 3 pieces of furniture in each room, 3 things in the ark of the covenant etc. That Christ is our great High Priest...
For 30+ years I thought the scripture that the title of this message bears, "Christ is the [end] purpose of the law" meant that post-resurrection, the Law had no effect! I found out on 119 mininstries and here that the Greek word "telos" is more properly translated as goal or end. In other words, the Law is the shadow, which if you follow it to it's end, you'll be looking at the true light source. This is just like in nature when one stands at the end of the shadow and looks toward the other side of the shadow. What does one see? A tree and on the other side - the Sun, the Son, the Light!!!

Jairo Ribeiro The word “end” also means “Goal”! So then the “goal” of the Torah is Messiah Yeshua. Otherwise His very own Words would be meaningless when He said, “I did not come to abolish the Torah”.
Jesus said when it is fulfilled it would pass. So we are no longer under that covenant. We are under new covenant of Christ. The Torah is now, obsolete. We are no to offer animal sacrifices for atonement of sins, Jesus was only sacrifice that takes care of it once and for all. Jesus delivered us from the law so we could have peace with him.
@@markwonder4246, there are no more imperfect sacrifices, because G-d sacrificed his perfect Lamb during Passover. (Although sacrifices will be restored, as per the future revelations, there is a deeper meaning of sacrifices which is yet to be revealed.) The reason for this Sacrifice of G-d is that we are covered for sin. If Torah doesn't exist - there is no sin and there would be no purpose for Yeshua's death. We cannot define sin, only G-d can and and He says that sin is transgression of Torah. Yeshua says "If you love me, keep my commandments". Yeshua is One with The Creator of our world. If it need to be Jesus death had no effect. Jesus told he had power over that. He cause it to cease. Jesus's sacrifice presents over the torah. He made it obsolete, it discontinued through his death on the cross. It is still not ok to murder though. Why would we? genuine Gospel is not rejecting the 10 commandments, but through Christ Righteousness giving Him permission or authority to possess us through Holy Spirit we become genuine obedience, Righteous ( genuine doers of the law), produces fruit of the Holy Spirit ( genuine good works) , Gospel and law are together, Apostle Paul is not rejecting the law but He corrected the role of the law cause it came to point through the law and keeping on it they believed it will give them salvation and makes them Righteous, but its only through Christ alone we can have salvation and Righteousness or become Righteous ( genuine doers of the 10 commandments)

As it was at the days of Jacob and his son Joseph, the symbol of Jesus. Things will happen soon the same, but spiritually, father makary said that the Bible says that there will be hunger to the word of God, and as the son's of Jacob, the fathers of the Jewish people, went to Egypt and found food, the Coptic church will be the light and the trigger to the returning of Israel to Jesus.
The Offering... Jesus God offered His Body and Blood to God the Father on the cross for our sins. God the Son took our punishment upon Himself, so that we may not be separated from God in death. Before He gave Himself for us, Jesus repeatedly said: I tell you most solemnly, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you (John 48-71). His followers took His words literally and found them intolerable. Many of them walked away and Jesus did not try to stop them, neither did he say wait, I didn’t mean to eat my flesh literally, but only spiritually. No, Jesus meant what He said. John 56: He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in him. In the Eucharist bread and wine become the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus without loosing it’s external appearance of bread and wine. We can’t comprehend it. Just like we can’t comprehend God. But we trust Him and we believe our Lord’s words.

Most would like to like to us back under that law on which we are free. As Colossians 2 says let no man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit. It is hard for them to the old testament out of their system.

In fact the law and the prophets were Holy, Just and Good and it is what Paul used to preach the kingdom and the gospel to the gentiles. That was their scripture (old testament books) And that alone was already sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. Having said that, we are not under the Law, but under Grace. We needed the grace of God because of the condemnation of the Law.
@@bryanyawn That 's right. Only when someone uses it tell you you have to keep the laws of the old covenant to be saved that is vain deceit. Such as keeping oblation and festables. Jesus came to do fulfill those requirements so it would be the end of them. We need to know about what they represented. That is why Paul called them a schoolmaster. It explains what they represented. Now that they are fulfilled in Christ we are to have in Christ, because the couldn't save only Christ. Sometimes it is hard to present it as it should be. Jesus often gave examples in stories yet they didn't grasp the meaning. 😊He had to explain another way. 😉

I have just finished reading Dennis Prager’s Exodus in his Rational Bible. That veil that lies over the hearts of non Messianic Jews is so visible. For 30+ years I thought the scripture that the title of this message bears, "Christ is the [end] purpose of the law" meant that post-resurrection, the Law had no effect! I found out on 119 mininstries and here that the Greek word "telos" is more properly translated as goal or end. In other words, the Law is the shadow, which if you follow it to it's end, you'll be looking at the true light source. This is just like in nature when one stands at the end of the shadow and looks toward the other side of the shadow. What does one see? A tree and on the other side - the Sun, the Son, the Light!!!

Jesus said when it is fulfilled it would pass. So we are no longer under that covenant. We are under new covenant of Christ. The Torah is now, obsolete. We are no to offer animal sacrifices for atonement of sins, Jesus was only sacrifice that takes care of it once and for all.

The reason for this Sacrifice of G-d is that we are covered for sin. If Torah doesn't exist - there is no sin and there would be no purpose for Yeshua's death. genuine Gospel is not rejecting the 10 commandments, but through Christ Righteousness giving Him permission or authority to possess us through Holy Spirit we become genuine obedience, Righteous ( genuine doers of the law), produces fruit of the Holy Spirit ( genuine good works) , Gospel and law are together, Apostle Paul is not rejecting the law but He corrected the role of the law cause it came to point through the law and keeping on it they believed it will give them salvation and makes them Righteous, but its only through Christ alone we can have salvation and Righteousness or become Righteous ( genuine doers of the 10 commandments)

Just like we can’t comprehend God. But we trust Him and we believe our Lord’s words.

In fact the law and the prophets were Holy, Just and Good and it is what Paul used to preach the kingdom and the gospel to the gentiles. That was their scripture (old testament books) And that alone was already sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness.
Having said that, we are not under the Law, but under Grace. We needed the grace of God because of the condemnation of the Law.

Jesus came to do fulfill those requirements so it would be the end of them. We need to know about what they represented.
That is why Paul called them a schoolmaster. It explains what they represented. Now that they are fulfilled in Christ we are to have in Christ, because the couldn't save only Christ. Sometimes it is hard to present it as it should be. Jesus often gave examples in stories yet they didn't grasp the meaning. 😊He had to explain another way. 😉
