Do you know who managed his race well? The who ended up in fourth place. He would've won a medal if it wasn't for the cheater brothers. That is why he didn´t care not winning and carried and pushed his brother. Letting him pass before him. It is nice but absolutily anti sportive for other runners. In one word that is simply cheating. I do not think that pushing someone 400 meters long during running is allowed by this rule.
The International Triathlon Union is the governing body for Triathlon and it was them who said athletes could help fellow athletes in the dismissal of the appeal. According to them pushing someone for 400 meters to the finish line is allowed. I have seen the same thing happen in marathons and the athlete who was being helped out by a fellow athlete wasn't disqualified.
