Don't forget, with a mag and rounds in, the trigger weight will actually drop a few ounces....so the 4.5lb mark is closer to it. I have to say...the SCT frame is really a work of art.
I have two of these. They need some hand tuning. I’ve noticed that the rails are set about 1/2mm taller than an OEM Glock 43x frame. This was causing an issue with the connector not reliably resetting the trigger. Near 100% failure rate on one frame and about 1 in 20 on the second frame. Had to bend the connector ear upwards and the entire connector bar to the right hand side of the frame. Works 100% so far, but want to run another 200 rounds through each before I call it good.
I am going to order one of those frames when it comes back into stock at Brownells. I like the micro dagger, but the SCT frame looks even better. I also like that if you buy it complete it comes with a normal glock style trigger and not the hinged thing. Thanks for the review!
The trigger guars nubs are for people who like the wrap the index. Ive seen some people with some pretty long fingers wrap it across the front and hook up under the guard but I tried it personally and I have to strain my wrist so much it gets tight and a sharp pain all along the tendon.
@@DesertTactical Lena Miculek was my first instance of ever seeing anyone use that as a means of recoil control but it works for her and I've caught myself on the off times doing it myself on the more squared guards when I dont use a light.
@@UncleDanBand64 the streamlight tlr 6 definitely fits the 43x without a rail as it attaches to the trigger guard. just not as pretty as like the tlr 7a or tlr7 sub
@zDivyn Yes, that was the only option at it's release. Then Olight come out with the Mini-2 that would fit small guns with rails followed by the ones you mentioned. Recover Tactical makes an aftermarket clamp on rail for the G43 and G43x but, then you have holster problems.
Very nice review, I was contemplating this but couldn’t justify it as I have 2 of the micro frames already . I did however order a 19 sized frame that I am still waiting on . I am going to throw up a review using a different slide combination here soon. Take care bro.
the only issue i found with my sct 43 frame was the slide stop nub that is flipped up my the mag follower was undersized and would slip past the follower and not allowing final round slide lock, i switched it to a vickers tactical slide stop and no further problems
Pretty good you pointed that out. It did that one me a couple times while practicing with snap caps. I also think the factory slide stop nub that rests on the follower is undersized as you said. No issues with live fire at the range though.
First: I love your setup so no shade on it! I am just wondering (as I begin to consider buying one) what does the frame bring to the table over the OEM?
Heeey. Thanks. Ive had that jeep for a very long time. Got it mid 2000's. To answer your question. Hmm. Its a close call. There are a few determining factors why I'm liking the SCT more. Both are excellent frames. The Micro is so comfy and ergonomic while the SCT is so grippy and feels good in the hand. Also, for some reason, my tlr7sub will not stay tightened on my micro. Need to re tighten every couple mags or so. No issues with the SCT.
Retention on guns with lights is on the light. Usually if the rest of the gun is close to the same size they will work in light bearing holsters. I figure if you want to say build it’s okay. A lot of builders started out with what you are calling an assembly. If someone has successfully “assembled” a firearm they can have more confidence when they do a bigger “build”.
Yes. Absolutely. The light is what has the retention on light bearing holsters, as the one showed. However, keep in mind not all tolerances are the same. Which is why I demo’d that it works. I have all 3 I guess. Some I’ve complete built out from pieces and parts. Some I’ve assembled and others I bought and use as is. Thanks for stopping by. :)
Your weapon "clearing" technique could probably be a little better my friend. You don't appear to be visually inspecting the chamber. If your extractor were to fail, you could easily have one sitting in the chamber. I'm not trying to criticize, I just want people to be safe. Great video. I have the SCT19 and I love it. Im considering getting one of these.

Highly agree! Such an outstanding frame!
Which trigger is this?
@@AJ06010 factory trigger is an OEM glock trigger. Upgraded trigger is the extreme carry with boogeyman shoe by Tactical Pontoon.
Finally, the C1 slides are back and I was able to order one and looking forward to the SCT frame build. So that’s good to to watch your stuff.

The sct frame is making want to do another “assembly”😂

I love the look of that frame. Very nice!
Looks and feels amazing. Thanks for stopping by. Appreciate ya!
Pretty sure the sct has a oem glock trigger in it lol the rest of the internals are oem glock so that would explain why it's glockesque to you
Yes, please do a 500rd or 1000rd update. I want to get that frame and put my g48 slide on it.
I plan to! Hit that sub button!
Wow that build seems quite nice 👍

Yes! Huge plus right there. I’d take an OEM glock trigger over the horrendous hinged PSA Trigger any day all day.
They have them in stock now
Great video.

Awesome build

Very much so!
Nice “assembly” gang🔥🔫

My 43x has no rail I got it as soon as it hit the store. That and the fact my wife took it from me are the only things I don't like about it.
MOS 43x has a rail idk why they couldn’t do it for the regular one
@zDivyn Yeah, I agree but, when the 43x came out there were no lights that would fit a gun that small. That is probably why the original didn't.

Good breakdown on this “assembly”. Glad you’re liking this one. Will it ever be one of your actual carry guns or strictly for the range?
Once I get it to at least 5 hunnit and a couple mags of defensive ammo then it’ll go into rotation. Still looking at that EPS carry! Lol

I’m gonna have so say the texturing and grip angle is where this frame shines and comes on top.
Hows the back and forth movement on your magazine when you move it from the bottom? Mine has a bit more movement than I would like.
Noticed that too.
Hmm, i already got a 43x, I could just put my slide on that, the frame itself looks good, it looks like it does have some oem parts.
Its a fantastic frame. Been doing some dry fry practice and the more I handle it the more I love it!
