The Second Mag is where I get the feel for the the frame again. I love this frame, it ran over 140 rounds before the first dead trigger issue… SWAP OUT TO OEM GLOCK PARTS! Their description states which is oem and which isn’t! Respect guys
I have a Anderson Kiger 9c, It uses a SCT frame and I will say one of the best handguns I own. Plus what I like about it, It takes Glock Gen 3 OEM parts as well. In all honesty I'm pretty much keeping my Kiger original but possibly going to Use a Dagger Steel Guide Rod. All in all love the SCT frames. Also as a Suggestion would love to see you shoot a Arex Delta Gen 2 either the X or M versions. Great Slavic Gun.
I had issues with my SCT-19 aimsurplus slide hanging up and causing feeding issues, it turned out to be a metal bur in the safety plunger causing it to drag, pulled it out and put a glock one in with no issues. I think it was a Tacfire slide completion kit I used.
My SCT-19 frame had a loose locking block with OEM glock parts installed. The grip angle and stippling was great but that issue caused poor accuracy. I never bothered returning it because shipping to the factory would run me as much as the frame did lol.
I love mine, but I never shot it with the included trigger. I hate curved triggers, so I immediately replaced mine with an apex trigger and the TTI spring kit and it works great.
Comes to 43, 43X and,48 I haven't found except one trigger that's reliable save the Johnny Glocks trigger which I had to bend cruciform slightly to engage striker . Nothing beats Glock factory parts for reliability.
I have 3 of these, and they all work great with my Shield mags. What issues did you have with them? Also, the trigger/trigger bar and trigger housing that came with them are definitely Glock OEM.
I had the same trigger reset issue with my sct43 frame. Only mine would reset after 115gr fmj but not after 147gr jhp. Its back with sct under warranty as i type this.
I was experiencing something strange with mine where the trigger wouldn’t reset. Then when you just press the safety the trigger would automatically press or get locked into a position where the safety wouldn’t engage. Another video I came across recommended bending this little ear slightly and the trigger seems to be functioning how it should albeit I haven’t shot it again yet. Probably will do that today.
So to be clear, the frame is reliable with Glock OEM parts? Or is it unreliable across the board? Ruined my G43x frame with a laser, have the parts laying around and was going to buy one of these stripped frames, or shell out the extra money for an OEM MOS frame, but didn’t know what to do. Cost doesn’t matter, the improved ergonomics is what I was looking for, what should I do? Thanks.
Damn, it's really hard to make an unreliable Glock. It's usually a very easy diagnosis and fix though. A bad part is a bad part. Once you identify the part that's bad, you can replace it... and that should probably be done before making assumptions on what the problem is. It could just be a tolerance stacking issue, which is bound to happen more often when mixing parts. It don't mean the parts are bad though... it's just the reality of building guns and/or with mixing and matching parts. I've seen batches of unreliable guns become reliable just from swapping parts (mostly aftermarket Glocks, but that's just because that's what I was dealing with). I've seen it with other guns too though (Ruger LCP 22lr, OEM Glocks with OEM parts and a couple others over the years).
I had the exact same problem. Trigger went dead and had to rack to clear empty shell casing. Happened to me about 3 to 4 times in a 100 rounds. Thanks for posting. I am thinking about ordering the drop in tactical pontoon peacemaker. Any thoughts on that one?
I have four of these. The triggers were not installed correctly. The connector needs to be adjusted as the minimum wage millennial that assembled it smushed the connector flat to the trigger housing which prevents it from reliably making contact with the slide. This is a common problem when installing glock triggers. It is also, thankfully, an easy fix.
Ran 1000 124grain/ 115 holotips/ and tracers. Of course I assembled mine an got tactical pontoon. But I have two frames an maybe had 2-3 failures to feed. Check my story’s I like them alot.
It seems unfair to concluded the SCT is the issue. You need to expect to do some tuning on a build like this. A dead trigger is likely caused by a connector adjustment issue. Im assuming you used an armorers plate to check/adjust the striker engagement?
This comment is for the video about the 26 . My question is out of all your pistols. Which is the best to pocket carry ? The smallest overall I guess I’m asking .
@@spnfirearms is there an option to buy it with no parts for a cheaper price? I know they make other frames some people in the 80% community build off of these

R-e-s-p-e-c-t!
I had to tune the connector on all four examples I have purchased.
What he said ⬆️ Easy enough fix.
Just switch to oem parts!
SPN, How is the texture on your belly when appendix carrying? How abrasive is it?
I like the micro dagger frame and they are 50 bucks today! I run my 48Mos parts shield mags and premium mag release, no issues.
Thanks for the info man!!

I have my 43x with a SCT frame but I put the original Glock parts on it and it works perfectly. more than 500 shots and everything 👍
Yea exactly! Swap to all oem and it’s all good! Respect
Same I have the 43x Ducks Unlimited edition. Over 700 rounds not a jam not one failure

It seems like a lot of the aftermarket, or “clone” Glock stuff is pretty reliable, except for the 43-size stuff.
Appreciate the vid bro
No problem man; thank you! Respect
Sucks it failed but they do sell them stripped i believe. Where can we get those oem parts from again?
Got any videos on the 43x. I have one the ducks unlimited edition only 50 made. It’s a beautiful. Gin and performs amazing
Yes I do! I have lots
Would you check out the "grit grip" glock 19 frame?
Why are the comments turned off on the 2 most recent videos?

Great video Brother,I really like the SCT grip module, but I wish they made it thicker grip wise
the stippling is awesome but to slim.
Thanks man, I appreciate that! Respect
Guys there is a fix! It’s the trigger connector, it’s slight too high. Either replace it or bend it down slightly with needle nose pliers
🔥🔥🔥
Respect!
I got apex action enhancement kit and Sct runs flawlessly

With oem parts it’s reliable as can be, it’s the way they sell it with the lpk that is unreliable. It’s the best feeling.

Yes agreed 100%! Respect
Agree, I seen the same thing on another video but it was a Palmetto State micro dagger. It’s the connector that needs to be bent out more.
Why u say that? I just saw a video of someone running the Shield Arms 15rd mag
You said Shield arms mags don't work. How about Palmetto Micro Dagger15 Rd mags?
Shield arms mags work just fine, but just like all 43s you have to replace the mag release with a steel one. Psa mags runs great.

God damn. I literally just put one in my chart on Aims Surplus. Good timing bro.
lol as soon as I got my frame I used my own trigger I was not trusting SCT that much.

Just spend the extra money and get the quality of parts you want from your firearm not the budget parts you don't!
