Nice to hear your comments RandomFrankP , but I see a common mistake in "tech reviewers" almost everytime they review audio devices or in this case SPEAKERS, they just describe the whole item and experience, and that's cool... but please DO SOME ACTUAL AUDIO FOOTAGE like you did on 3:15 but for the whole thing, like for example to hear what it sounds like on the living room or in your PC Setup... I know it won't be an accurate representation as audio goes through a Mic and sound travels differently according to the space/location, then gets compressed on RUclips etc... but trust me, helps a lot to have a general idea of what it could sound like as not everyone has the chance to watch this products in store to test themselves and many people just has the chance to buy them online so it's a blind guess. Hope anyone reads this and agrees with me so we can get different types of reviews on Speakers.
IMO Razer is best for their keyboards Logitech for Mouse HyperX for Headset BenQ for Monitors need recommendations for Mousemat. Currently using Razer ones and it slips :(
Overpriced. $350 I think would have been the sweet spot. Regarding the point on the remote, that wouldn't bother me. Most people have their phones on them all the time anyway and having yet another remote lying around is a pain IMO (I bought a Logitech Harmony Multi remote because I was so fed up with having so many remotes), but that's just my opinion. Anyway, there is no way I would drop $500 on this system, no way.
Since you reviewed the Razor setup on your living room TV, why didn’t you add the link to that specific 65’ Samsung?? like you did with everything else in my gear?
So are they good? You need to compare them more, elseway we dont understand if the speakers are good. Since every review of pc speakers is a positive speaker review just like this one. For instance, the nommo is just $100, if you compare them with the pro is there a huge quality difference?
They are nice but everyone already has sound for the most part. my thoughts are that the look is ok But I think the Croma lighting needs to be around the speakers not at the bottom. why have Croma if you cant see it? I currently have the mamba elite, Black Widow Croma v2 & the newly released Lain Li Razer edition PC Case so I feel like I'm hooked on the eco system but... these devices have Croma that you most definitely notes right away. I just returned the fire fly mouse matt because the Croma lighting honestly was not that good. I wanted to update my black widow keyboard because of the media controls but after looking the Croma was really dimmed down and so I just decided to keep my v2. The #1 thing I like most about the Razer Nommo Pro Speakers is the THX and optical in but that does not exist on the Razer Nommo Speakers for 150.00 + I don't understand why they went 2.1on the best version when our motherboards are capable of 5.1 & even 7.1 surround sound. + We don't need loudness we need wireless digital 7.1 surround sound! using phone remote nope that's not it. I would love to see a new Razer Leviathan done with Proper Croma Lighting and 7.1 +THX. to much loudness can be annoying they need to focus on clearness sounding audio.
I love Razer, the plain speakers are cheap for what you get. But Chroma is $50.00 extra for lights. Pro is even more overpriced for more bass and lights. Just get some open-back headphones
Hmmmm.... considering I just got into Razer Last month and I'm a small RUclips channel content creator I will most likely buy them anyways. In my small Recording studio I use the Mackie HR624MK2's........
I am really interested in audio and mainly have a surround sound set up with my tv. But I want my pc to sound as good as my home cinema but I don’t want surround sound. I want quality made speakers for my pc and these seem pretty much it! P.s audio enthusiasts spend a lot more than £500 on audio set ups. These could be a steal for the quality your getting.
How are they compared to Logitech G560 and Razer Leviathan? I want to grab one for my mainly gaming setup, not sure though which one i should go with. Could you make a comparison video, please?

I have tested these in a store nearby and they sound fucking amazing, definitely worth the price since you don't need a receiver to go with them. They are pretty ugly in my opinion however.

thes would be perfect for desktop, because i am not giving up my speakers for my tv, i use the logitech z5500 5.1 system. i think one thing you are missing, what's the wattage. i feel that i would need to know that also.
Um, actually no. My $130 thrift store setup trumps these. Two large tower speakers, Two polk audio center speakers, Yamaha subwoofer, and Two bose surround speakers and I got an Onkyo av receiver for really cheap. When i max out the volume i go deaf. Plus I make edms so I have a pair of JBC lsr308s.
you can find great speakers at a thrift store. l found a pair of polk monitor 4s at a salvation army once. those speakers were over $300 back in the 80's and l only paid $10 for them, and they are actually in pretty good shape other than some scuffs and nicks on the cabinet.
there is actually more luck to the story. l bought a black pair and took them home and realized that one of the drivers was not working, turns out it was totally seized up because the magnet had shifted. so l went back to return them but when l was in the store l found another pair of polk monitor 4s the only difference was the cabinet wasn't in as good a shape and they had a wood grain finish on them instead of jet black. so what l did was l bought those speakers as well and then took the good driver out of those speakers and put them in the black cabinets and then took the broken driver back in the wood grain cabinets. l even made a video about it. people thought it was kind of sleazy to do what l did, but the way l see it is either way l was going bringing a pair of broken speakers back to the store anyways so what difference does it make?
These speakers should be called razer noise complaints while your playing idk battlefield when the mortars and explosions going on next to you imagine what the neighbours will think when they hear a massive explosion coming from your house
Looking for a comparison between these and a set of Kano YU4/YU6 with the Kant 6/8 sub. How do you rate these for music/gaming sat at your PC vs your Kantos?
You say these are loud yet I’m think there pretty quite compared to my Bose companion 3 setup the sub isn’t that strong I hear they have a automatic gain control which is preventing the volume being to loud can this be disabled or has anyone experienced this
Can you please review the Razer blade stealth 2018????????? I really don't know if it's worth it. I'm going to use it for school but of course I want to use it in my free-time. I need to pay the half of the money for the laptop so it's pretty important. thx
They raised the price on these from $500 to $600 and they have it on sale right now for black friday at $540 plus tax and that's a scam because they raised the price by $100 since release.
Maybe you just needed to find a con to feel like your review was balanced, but I think you made a much bigger deal than necessary about the lack of wireless remote. The app provides much more functionality than a remote ever could. And really-how often do you NOT have your phone on you when sitting in the living room?

I was about to buy these before watching this video. These things are MASSIVE. Why would anyone want that giant hardware on their desk?!
IMO Razer is best for their keyboards
Logitech for Mouse
HyperX for Headset
BenQ for Monitors
need recommendations for Mousemat. Currently using Razer ones and it slips :(
GankKi Corsair for keyboards
Logitech for mouse
Sennheiser for headsets
Asus for monitors
Steel series for mouse pad
Howard the alien I agree with the Mouse Pad I’m getting the Steel Series + mouse pad but for monitors and headset depends on the consumer preference
For Keyboard Razer and Corsair
For Mouse SteelSeries
For Headset HyperX n SteelSeries
For Monitor ASUS
Overpriced Monitor Apple IMacPro
*GET BLOWN AWAY BY THE PRICE OF IT AMAZING!!!* 😱😱😱
Nommo
No 'mo
No homo
Binninja SANL Nommo Razer products
No, homo razer
on amazon you can get these for 350$ right now
These are not overpriced. Have u ever seen the price on some studio monitors. My KRKs went for about 600
Aaron Gary for $100 more they are 100 times better. These are overpriced don’t be a razer sheep
The Logitech z533 speakers are the best and cheapest speakers on the market! Best bass
I got it and i love it... best 2.1 system available....together with a mamba elite an absolutly rgb and sound blast...trust me!
You by far my favorite RUclipsr right beside TechSource.
I bought these and they are the best speaker I've ever had
Try these speakers yourself before saying anthing bad about them, just like other THX products I think this one sounds great.
Daniel Gómez $200 Logitech speakers sound better LMFAO
I saw the price and then I am at the hospital right now
If they do a 5.1 version that will be nuts
Got my notification 4mins late BUT clicked as fast as I could nice vid
Which wire connection is the best ?
Optical vs 3.5 vs USB ?
How are they compared to Logitech G560 and Razer Leviathan? I want to grab one for my mainly gaming setup, not sure though which one i should go with. Could you make a comparison video, please?
Well i think they nailed the price! maybe they could lower it a 100$ but if you ever owned a pair of Astro a40/a50 headset you would know how good Optical sound sounds! It's worth the price that's just what you pay for. so every one who copy paste "Razer is overpriced" i think is stupid some of these people can't afford it and they will use the over priced as an excuse. This is my opinion ;)
Crank up the sound and bass on these speakers! I can't wait to play with a portable mini-earthquake!
just get the JBL Cinema SB170 for your gaming setup and a better 5.1/7.1 system for your living room! I love Razer for keyboards mice headphones (also kinda meh) but speakers nah I had some a few years ago and it was nothing but trouble untill I switched back to JBL
Frank, do you choose these speakers or the kanto speakers ?
nice review, also do you think frank's gonna do a face reveal?
I have tested these in a store nearby and they sound fucking amazing, definitely worth the price since you don't need a receiver to go with them.
They are pretty ugly in my opinion however.
Fucking hell, for this price id rather save up a little more and buy 2 amazing studio monitors + a matching sub.
do you know how tall the speakers are? trying to get the right monitor shelf(mine are on their way, that's why i'm asking)
If you buy the nommo pro for gaming desktop, where tf are you going to put the subwoofer? Under the table?
I would buy this if they removed the RGB lighting and the wired controller,I don't mind using the app to control it 'cause at least it's wireless.
It's Razer. Removing RGB isn't there thing you knoe
@@Tseudonymous yeah ik, but I wish they did
@@yeshayavarghese350 Omg I just realized how bad my grammar is lol. But I think there might be a way to turn the RGB off, since you're able to change the colour. If you get what I'm trying to say
Where did you buy your lamps that are next to your TV? Those you have the speakers on?
thes would be perfect for desktop, because i am not giving up my speakers for my tv, i use the logitech z5500 5.1 system.
i think one thing you are missing, what's the wattage. i feel that i would need to know that also.
@randomfrankp I know you didnt get sent them for review, but do you think the two cheaper models would be good for a desk setup?
oof i've been looking for a successor to the epic z-2300s that I had as a kid. This set is sexy af as well as reminiscent of the 2300s. Me like!
I have to recommend these for THX logo compilations viewers
love you Random Frankp
Um, actually no. My $130 thrift store setup trumps these. Two large tower speakers, Two polk audio center speakers, Yamaha subwoofer, and Two bose surround speakers and I got an Onkyo av receiver for really cheap. When i max out the volume i go deaf. Plus I make edms so I have a pair of JBC lsr308s.
What do you mean Witz "I make edms" where can I find those
you can find great speakers at a thrift store. l found a pair of polk monitor 4s at a salvation army once. those speakers were over $300 back in the 80's and l only paid $10 for them, and they are actually in pretty good shape other than some scuffs and nicks on the cabinet.
@@Tseudonymous ohh the speakers im talking about are the JBL lsr308s
@@ElectronicsForFun ikr, thrift stores are so fun to go to for electronics and stuff. Dude you're lucky
there is actually more luck to the story. l bought a black pair and took them home and realized that one of the drivers was not working, turns out it was totally seized up because the magnet had shifted. so l went back to return them but when l was in the store l found another pair of polk monitor 4s the only difference was the cabinet wasn't in as good a shape and they had a wood grain finish on them instead of jet black. so what l did was l bought those speakers as well and then took the good driver out of those speakers and put them in the black cabinets and then took the broken driver back in the wood grain cabinets. l even made a video about it. people thought it was kind of sleazy to do what l did, but the way l see it is either way l was going bringing a pair of broken speakers back to the store anyways so what difference does it make?
There's no way these are worth $500. You can buy amazing speakers at that price.
Yeah, they should be around 350$ max. I could get an Xbox Series X for that price.
@@Frosty_V0 Audio is expensive in general. Sony xm5 cost more than xbox
i shall be getting this to link up with my Corsair SP2500
These speakers should be called razer noise complaints while your playing idk battlefield when the mortars and explosions going on next to you imagine what the neighbours will think when they hear a massive explosion coming from your house
i am so getting these for my Razer Blade Pro laptop
Funnyguy713 Wanna know if you think its sound good
Omg what has razer done!? No RGB? Btw great vid mate 😁
There is rgb...
If you actually watched the fucking video, it does have rgbs
Rafi Uddin oh my god there actually is lol everything has to have rgb
Hard Kore Cubing I fucking get it ok, I had to leave before that part came on
@@sethkalisperis1644 lol
Looking for a comparison between these and a set of Kano YU4/YU6 with the Kant 6/8 sub. How do you rate these for music/gaming sat at your PC vs your Kantos?
LOL 0:44 I literally thought it was HUGE the way the camera was...I'm intelligent...
For the same price, what alternate speakers could you buy instead of this?
Hello!!! Where did you buy your desk? Thank you :D
Get the logitech z623 or z906. Those are THX certified and they are way fucking cheaper
You say these are loud yet I’m think there pretty quite compared to my Bose companion 3 setup the sub isn’t that strong I hear they have a automatic gain control which is preventing the volume being to loud can this be disabled or has anyone experienced this
Hi what are those lamp/stands that you have in your living room, the look sic where did you get them?
Oh hey new speakers sweet I actually needed some too. “About 500 dollars”
...
Can you please review the Razer blade stealth 2018?????????
I really don't know if it's worth it. I'm going to use it for school but of course I want to use it in my free-time. I need to pay the half of the money for the laptop so it's pretty important. thx
Get either Swan M200MKIII, Edifier S2000pro or Vanatoo Transparent Zeros and don't look back.
Sub woofer is just a plastic cylinder that looks like it can run Minecraft at 30 fps
Maybe it's best 2.1ch gaming speaker but I expected 7.1ch at this price.. Logitech Z906 is still best multi channel gaming speaker.
Early I have got those awesome notify bells jingled 12years ago so I’m active
