  • A few weeks ago I shared an idea about improving paddling for longboard, which for those that actually listened to what I was saying was mostly focused on completing the paddle stroke to gain extra thrust. There were a few people that disagreed and even shared their thoughts, which is amazing ... and I think you for that because I am like most and just trying to figure its all out, so I appreciate constructive ideas that will lead to improved learning. In this video I have tried some of those suggestions... which is great, because it got me thinking and again adding some medical advice to hopefully help others to avoid injury and catch more waves with less effort.
Thanks for the stoke and please be sure to leave a comment.

Paddling, and Plateauing, progress will happen as you get a tiny bit better at all the little things. Time in the water, my friend. Let the kid out to play in the water. Try body surfing, or using a way different board. Go fin less, or fin first. In those knee slappers, leash less. Challenge yourself to stop falling off, and complete every ride. No wet suit even. Mix it up! Keep the stoke alive!
