That was a very hard week for any Cardinals fan, grew up listening to Jack Buck as so many did. Can't forget about Darryl Kyle, gone too soon. Can't watch this without shedding a few tears
I’ll NEVER forget Jack Buck saying that baseball SHOULD MOST DEFINITELY - “YES!!” go on a week after 9/11 took place. I also remember Joe Girardi of the Cubs and how HEARTBROKEN he was when he announced that the Cubs/Cardinals game had been postponed “due to a tragedy in the Cardinals organization.” RIP 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Jack Buck meant a bunch to St Louis he had a great life but he lived a great long one had been in failing health so it was coming. Darryl Kile that was truly heartbreaking didn't reach age 40 truly a shock.
15 years ago today DK57 left physically off this world, but is forever spiritually and emotionally in the hearts and minds of Cardinals, Astros, Rockies fans and whoever got to know him best. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Flynn and his children Kannon, Sierra, and Ryker. #RIPDK57 ❤❤❤❤❤
I still remember the pain I felt hearing about the day he died as a diehard cardinals and also a hometown astro fan I live in Houston I was heartbroken
To quote the late, great Jack Buck: Pardon me while I stand up, and applaud!
That was beautiful.

This is an incredible video. Brings tears to my eyes easily. DK was one of my favorite players as a kid, and Jack Buck was the voice of the Cardinals.
