Faith, you are doing great job, thanks. Someone living in a shared apartment (bills inclusive in the payment), who pays direct to his/her landlord, what is the person going to do since no payment carries his/her name? This is my situation now in the UK, please help.
Thank you. Please I need your response. Is proof of address needed for ilr? If yes, what can I do? I have been in the UK for about one year but lives with an uncle. Though I'm on a work visa and I've started looking for accommodation already. This means that for this period I've stayed with my uncle I have no documents for proof of address, council tax and other bills. Please what should I do? Thank you
Good evening FaithOjone. Will changing employer to another occupation code but still under shortage skilled list affect the 5 years ILR count? For example, changing from care worker to tech/IT. Will it make the 5 years start counting afresh? Thank you
Please reply to me am plotting to come to the UK I want to know what credentials I need to have a stay permit in the Uk it’s my first time of traveling out of Nigeria please help me
Hi What about for student dependent ,is he eligible for ILR after 5 years are still as a category of student ,That dependent also able to apply for ILR after 10 years
Hey 👋 faith. Please what's the implications if my dependant travels outside the Uk for more than 6 months in a single year? She's just got her 5yrs visa (November 2022) and traveling outside by December 2022
She will lose the time she already spent in the UK, it will start counting from when she enters the Uk again. Well since she just got her visa there’s nothing to lose, she can be visiting to keep it active until she is ready to move to the UK permanently
Good evening Faith, I need your advice. Am on a 5 years sponsored care visa job. My wife and my 3 kids are living in Nigeria. I have processed their papers for them and they do come to visit me. The council tax, gas bills and tenancy agreement are on my name. Is it possible to include my spouse name to it because ILR. Since my wife and kids are not living with me, how frequent do they need to come over to qualify for the ILR? Anthony
Many thanks for this video. I got an offer in the UK. Start date on the COS was 2nd December. Employer said it can be extended by 28 days, making new start date to be 30th December. Due to some issues in paperwork, I won't be able to do my biometrics until 22nd December or thereabouts. Obviously, visa won't be out until January. This means I will still not make the 30th December new start date. Is there any reason to be worried?
@faithojone Hi Faith, my wife is in UK and seven months pregnant. Me and my wife have No Public Funds on our Visa. Is there any benefits she can take, however she has no working experience in UK. Please let me know if any help can she get from the government.
hello , i have a question, if a person is living in UK, he has lived 160 days each year till 5 years, is he eligible for ILR or should he applies for extention
Hi Faith, awesome video! About the minimum time spent in the UK, how is it getting tracked to be in the UK for at least 180 days in those continuous years? Is it having an apartment in the UK? Earning money in the UK? Being registered as tax payer in the UK? Or is it really just to physically be in the UK as a person, meaning flying in / out is the criteria which counts?
hi. Currently I am on my post study work Visa. I want to apply for my work permit visa. My company told me to pay the Ihs fee. I want to borrow some money from my friend. Does it going to affect my IlR application in a long run? Also I am going to pay back those money. Thanks
Hello Faith Trust you're well n everything is alright with you. Been following your post well done you're doing great God bless you 🙏 Please I want to ask a question I don't know if you have an idea. If the woman is the sponsor and husband dependant and eventually the husband becomes the sponsor and wife dependant does their 5years to getting PR start from the beginning again?
If a student will continue in the study route it 10 years. If you switch to another visa e.g skilled worker visa it's 5 years but the years already spent on a study route won't be counted only the time spent on the skilled worker visa that will count
Hi Faith, I have been following your videos for a while..thanks for letting all out and helping others. Please, I am on skilled worker visa and my husband is still in Nigeria and hasn't applied for his dependant visa yet. Do you think the number of years will affect his ILR when the time comes?
To qualify for ILR you have to enter the UK and you must not spend more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 months. He won't be able to apply for ilr at the same time as you If he has not gotten his visa yet or even entered the UK.
@@FaithOjone sorry to bother you, just wanted to get this right. He's applying for his dependant visa this year that's almost one year gone from mine.. if I get you well, it means when we intend to apply for ILR bcos he hasn't stayed for 5yrs he can't get .. not even as my dependant?
@Hope Ukachi Your partner can’t apply for ILR at the same time as you. When they join you, they’ll have to live with you for 5 years before they’ll qualify to apply. They can however continue renewing their visa as your dependent until they reach the qualifying time. Good luck 😊
Pls can you do a proper tax video for we immigrant cause right now am having serious issues with this I don't even know how to go about it cause I just arrived
Love this, this is so well put together and explained, but what if those that have taken IELTS and PTE do they still need to take the test, but wait ooo after 5years how can someone still not speak and hear English 😂 meanwhile why haven’t you checked on me for days I’m calling you out on social media 👨🏼🦯👨🏼🦯👨🏼🦯👨🏼🦯 Good bye ✌🏻

What if your earnings is not hitting a UK bank account. Perhaps, you're working remotely in another company from another country

Nothing to worry about. Your employer can always move your start date.
Thanks a lot. I appreciate you.

There’s no benefit for her. If she was working before she could have been able to claim statutory maternity leave.

Physically be in the UK is what count, and you shouldn’t stay more than 6months outside UK in a year.
@@fooddweller Ok, amazing!
Can one use NARIC for the English test?
No.
I think so.. I read on the government website that one can use Naric

No, it doesn't! As long as the visa type you are on counts towards ILR and you didn't leave the UK you are still on track 😊👍.

Kindly call tax office
I don't understand UK tax fully, I still call HRMC. I still feel the UK tax process is not straightforward you still need to call HRMC for clarity.
Will the test be paid for
