I've been there multiple times. The flavor is very good. I highly recommend it. My fam likes it and we are all from Peru. It will never be as good as in Peru itself but compared to many restaurants around the LA area this is my #1 by far

The Native American Indian, original food of the country consisted mainly of potato stews of hot peppers, herbs and vegetables from their local gardens, ducks, turkeys, fish, and shellfish. Ancient Peruvian dishes like carapulcra, or dry potato stew, and pachamanca, are still very popular. Peruvian food evolved from the native, with the added contributions of the immigrants from Europe, Asia, and Africa. Causa, which means cause, or for the cause, is an appetizer created at the time of the war with Chile to raised money, it was created using potatoes, hot peppers, lemons, and can tuna fish, sometimes avocado was added. There are many stews like estofado, seco, parihuela, and so on. Wealthy Peruvian families, at the time of the French revolution, brought French cooks to Peru, creating many dishes like aji de gallina. Black, African descent Peruvians, used to be given the leftovers, or food items that were not wanted. The Afro Peruvians went on to create with these things, such delicious items like cau cau, mazamorra morada, tacu tacu, picarones, turron, and so on. Rice became popular with the arrival of the indented servants from China, and Japan, in the mid-1800s. And Germans, Austrians, Italians, and so on, have also increased and enriched the Peruvian gastronomy. Best wishes!

I spent 21 days in Peru and the food was Amazing! Since then, I've visited a few Peruvian restaurants throughout L.A. whenever I come across them, but the selection is usually limited. And good Lomo is hard to find.

The Lomo Saltado and rice chicken look delicious! About 15 years ago I went to a small Peruvian restaurant in Lake Forest, CA and had Peruvian beef empanadas with raisins with a lemon dip. They were delicious and haven't been able to find them in any other Peruvian restaurant!

The area around the restaurant I have done food delivery around there it's safe.
I live in Lawndale. We are border to North Redondo Beach + Manhattan Beach. Good to go just not much to do but not far from everything :)
...Lawndale is like a lot like Gardena. Not fancy but has some good eats. Never had any safety issues in the neighborhood. (Technically ~5 minutes east of Redondo Beach/Manhattan Beach.)

I didnt know about this Peruvian Buffet.
I live down the street from here. Believe it or not I have an event here coming this weekend. You can rent out the place for half the day and the food plate is the special you mentioned of chicken, rice, and fries. Ive had events here in the past as far back since 2005. And for the price I got to say this place is really good
There's a new Peruvian chicken place near me here in Washington, DC, DC Rico I haven't tried yet. Not a buffet ,and a few food items but really good reviews on Yelp! I love Peruvian chicken, rotisserie chicken for matter. Inca Gourmet Peruvian Buffet's food looks so fresh and delicious. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
