New Zealand, the land of the screaming inline four 250's. Had a CBR250R over 20 years ago, used to approach my girlfriends house at 18,000 rpm maxing out at 185 kph, to the horror of her parents. I'm glad our country imported these pocket rockets from Japan awesome memories. I never got a chance to ride a ZXR250R but I did ride the FZR250R and VFR400R back in the day.

Wow, That wonderful sound almost gave me tears. Brings back memory’s of when F1 was still in its glory days, to bad the bike isn’t a bit faster though.

Thanks David, yeah most have been treated pretty poorly. I've just finished restoring another one in the same colour scheme which is absolutely mint and only done 18k km. It'll be for sale very soon.

For my bike I've measured about 6.0 seconds. I'm always worried to launch it really hard though.
