I like Adrienne too, but I've been wondering where Dan Giusti has been. Hope he comes back and they both do some of these in the future, since both chefs are great.
He's super super busy with Brigaid
I hope Dan Giusti is still part of or will be brought back for these too. I really enjoyed his personality and the content
Where in the world do you find bacon under 3 dollars
the price is per serving I think
I’m so happy to see Adrienne back- I was loving her other videos. And I love this series. Happy to have to it back (hope Dan is ok)
Oh no! Where's Dan?? I've missed seeing him😢 Bring him back, please!
So glad to see this series back!!
I love this woman's energy
Adrienne and Bacon in 1 video .. what else does my day need ❤️🙌🏻
*Batman voice* Where is Dan?!
Where's Dan
This woman is a wonderful teacher and chef. She's always wonderful and entertaining.
I wish bacon was $1.74 for me at least, here in Costa Rica bacon is $6.5 for 6oz on average.
I love that Adrienne is now with this channel, but I'm wondering, if she's doing these cheap cook videos does that mean Dan Giusti is gone? I really enjoyed his videos.
What I'd like to see these chefs do for once is like spend $3 on ingredients and not calculate the cost based on the mass of ingredient used to make each portion.
I think the exact sane thing every time I see these types of videos
The big problem is the less you buy the more you spend. This goes for anything. Bulk buying is cheaper than small, thus usually if you bought ONLY enough for a single portion your would end up spending more over all per portion. I bought a whole belly to make bacon and I made it for almost 1/3 the cost to buy the same amount pre-made. Even more considering the style i made is more gourmet. After I was done I vacuum sealed quite a few of them and them froze it. I still have a lot, I always buy in massive bulk for things I know can last, it is smarter as it saves money and time. Only perishables do I not buy in bulk.
So this would be a challenge, but to make a dish of the same ilk only buying just enough to make one portion would almost certainly cost more than $3 just because of prices the less you get.
I think I’m in love
@@MrReaperHand Well yeah, ofc buying in bulk is cheaper, everyone knows that. I just meant it more in the sense of like thinking about the ingredients on the level shoppers think of them. We don't go "Oh, hmmm well this recipe only uses about 45 cents of milk, wow!", we just buy a carton or 2 depending on our household size and use it as we need it.
A problem with this concept is the minimum spend. I noticed it when I had a vacation rental with a kitchenette and realized that I had to buy way too much! The don't sell oil, butter, salt by the teaspoon! It's almost impossible to get anything for so little!
More Chef Adrienne please 😍
I love her little happy dances, so cute
Love this series! So happy it’s back! So creative!
Every one of this dishes looks 🔥 I especially like the bacon Cinnamon rolls b/c I don't like overly sweet stuff (I'd eat 1/2 of one), and the mushroom/bacon bolognese b/c I can't have heavy meat sauces anymore due to achalasia. Thank you for sharing these dishes!🙌🙌
Glad this series is back!
I can't eat Bacon, but chef Adrienne is so cool to watch.
Grating the cold butter 🤯 Why have I not been doing this??? Thank you!
I made the Bacon Cinnamon Rolls and they were DELICIOUS! Great recipe.
I'm all about this chef, but this is dans concept. I hope he'll be back
Delicious ❤
lol. apparently Epicurious lives in a magical world where bacon is under $10 for 12 oz.
It is at costco!
And at whole foods, as i bought a pack for $7.99 there last night
“You better butter 🧈 up that Bacon 🥓 boy”-Homer😂 she didn’t just add butter to the bacon 🤤 I’m in heaven
Love it.
Adrienne!!! Magnificent!!! 🥰👩🍳
My fav chef of 2023
Yay!
But what happened to Dan Guisti (pardon my spelling)?
Bacon is the most perfect food. It deserves its own category
Yay, Chef Cheatham is back!
I love how obsessed she is with Mayo
Just buying the bacon is already more than $3...
Bacon here is like $24. Everything else is cheap, but I can't use bacon to match this xD
I'll add this to new recipes I'll try out one day
For the same amount of bacon it would be like 8 dollars in my country
Yummy ❤😊
Bacon is my favorite food group. 🤠🥓❤
The 4 food groups: Beans, Bacon, Whiskey, and Lard.
Love this video. There is gonna be a run on bacon across the world now.
I think you forgot to leave out the cue mic - until I started writing this
I'm a bit confused by how she said the mayonnaise is going to add acidity to the soup. Mayo has no acid in it *at all* - for acidity, you'd need to go with mayo's cousin, whipped salad dressing, most famously known as Miracle Whip.
Adrienne you are Beautiful😍 ! Definitely making 2 and 3😋 Thank you 🙏🏼
"eat your crust, don't waste your bread" lolol
Where the heck is she coming up with these prices? its not 1999.
I love this lady. BACON!!!
Adrienne is frickin gorgeous ❤
1. Bacon
2. Bacon wrapped bacon
3. Bacon wrapped bacon wrapped bacon.
It can't be a coincidence that her name is Cheatham and the video is about bacon. Matrix confirmed.
Fresh manicure goes well with those cinnamon rolls 😊
are there any substitutes for the white wine for those of us that can't go out and buy a bottle of wine?
You can totally use water, then depends on the recipe you can also use water mixed with white wine vinegar too bring up the sour. Sorry for my english not my First language
Where did this series go??
Miss Dan.
I honestly don't understand reducing water. Stock, cream, wine, etc I understand. They all have flavor for you to concentrate, water does not. Why not just use less water?
I'd happily eat everything. I love bacon but it doesn't love me.
13:27 She has a Kim Wexler style ponytail.
Adrienne is one hot chef and so spunky!
For real though, for delicious taste, you could wrap dog doodoo in bacon for a game-changing bacon recipe.
Cream of zucchini with bacon, cotija cheese, and cilantro.
I already miss Dan :(
Yeah what happened to Dan?
Where's Dan
he's probably busy feeding school kids :)
Her lisp was adorable af
ah yes, a recipe that costs less than $3 per serving that requires a $600 blender
Food
the ai compressor for the mic is crazy
Big guide to bacons to the smart cook of bacon by Adrienne , I love it
Chef Adrienne is nice but respectfully, I miss Dan Giusti. He felt so much more approachable and I liked his style of cooking.
Where are you getting 7oz of bacon for $1.74?
Publix
Then again these things never add up for me. The assumption is that everyone is starting with a well stocked chef's kitchen which most people watching this don't have.
@@c.michellesparks2925 I believe it's per portion.
Ya it's per portion so if you went out and spend idk maybe $10 worth of ingredients and it makes 3 servings then that's about $3 per portion. That's what they are implying. So each serving is containing that $1.74 of bacon your referring to. For example.
@@Satans_Lullaby No it's not per portion... watch at the end of the recipe... the totals are there and then they break it down per portion after and they only give the per portion amount for the total... not each individual ingredient
I’m having a heart attack just watching the video now
I like her, but I'm also miss Dan Giusti.
Where did Dan go :(
Ai meu Deus, maionese na sopa não obrigada. Demasiado americano 😅
No Chef Dan? 😢
(Not knocking Adrienne btw)
These prices are Egregiously BS.
I’m torn. I love this woman sooooo much but where’s DANNNNN??? 😩😩😩
Where is Dan 😢
Yum! Those rolls look yummy. But please remove your rings before sticking your fingers in the dough.
I want a store that’ll sell me a SINGLE bay leaf😂
Please!
I wish this had more likes! Are we the only weirdos?😅
simply I fall in love with you❤
Why is the sound echo-ey
What happened to Daniel Giusti
Where is dan guisti
Whats with de Darth Vader like sound
Where is Dan?!?! Nothing against Adrienne, but I was so used to him doing this series. 🙁
nice but... can I really eat only single portion... more like 2 of these... so its under 6$ maybe
Nah where is Dan?
First
How is it a BLT when there’s no L?
The 'L' is the spinach, which made the soup green like lettuce. I think that's what she was meaning.
The first recipe says 1 cup of milk is $1.00 the third recipe says 3/4 cup of milk is 19 cents... So you just had someone sit down and make up numbers for this?
Think that's just a mistake with the final price list, since it shows it's 26 cents when she pours the milk in at 3:18.
Chefs should never wear rings when they’re working, they’re a health hazard.
Pro chef uses 9 dollars worth of bacon in three dishes? Okay.
You are gorgeous, your voice is intoxicating, but it all pales compared to your cooking skills. Fantastic video, thanks!
Next please do liver
What I'D like to know is, what game is being changed? Because I'm very fond of several games and I want them to stay just the way they are, without the rules being influenced by the presence of bacon. I have developed many non-bacon strategies and wouldn't want to see them disrupted by a bowl of soup or cinnamon roll. Thank you!
Dessert is not breakfast .. Just saying .. Still delicious
Murica, where the statistically average breakfast is a donut and a coffee with sugar and cream.
You lost me in mayonnaise
pasta into the sauce, that's a rule
I can't afford bacon. Why did I click on this? 🤔
These cost calculations are misleading. I’m a single guy. I don’t just have all those ingredients just lying around. The thing i don’t like about shows like this is I’d hate to spend money on ingredients I’d rarely if ever use.
The mayonnaise had me stop the video
It's actually super useful if you regard it as an oil rather than as a condiment. I am surprised with how readily she opted for it, though. Usually only see Ethan Chlebowski using it like that
is this vegan ?
Kinda strange not seeing Dan, but ok.
No offense, but looking at the dough--my mom's cinnamon rolls are way better, hands down.
Someone please tell me where you find bacon for $3.97 per pound. This isn't even believable. Come on Epicurious, try harder.
