- Come check out my weekly maintenance routine that has helped me achieve a lot of success throughout the years. Do this most weeks (if possible). After a few times of practicing, you can get through it quite quickly. I always do this on the weekend and then can enjoy my corals...which are always extra puffy and plump after this routine!
Links to some of the products I use:
Refractometer for checking salinity = amzn.to/3XUflVv
Flipper magnet glass cleaner = amzn.to/43xoS5O (there are different sizes pending your tank)
Maxi Jet for blowing rocks = amzn.to/44Bemfl
Bucket wet/dry vac for water changes = amzn.to/3O1pMC7 (home depot carries the other brand)
Shoulder length gloves = amzn.to/3NQeWi0
6 Stage RODI Unit = www.bulkreefsu...
Hanger clips I use to clamp RODI hose to things = amzn.to/3XXonRr
Refractometer calibration solution =

I use redsea salt so..
2.5 cups of salt / 5gal of rodi = 1.025 salinity
I don’t even test anymore. 10gal out. 10gal in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Links to some of the things I used are in the description...what additional things do you do during your weekly...or perhaps monthly😁maintenance routine?
Nice! Great video!
Thank you, Sir!
Great routine
No.20 is more important thing than the others😂
100% Agree haha!
Great info. Can you link some of the devices you used?
Thanks for the positive feedback and good question! I have added a few links in the description to some of the products I use during my routine.
Hey! I’m thinking of buying a Reefer Max 525 G2+ (includes the reefwaves, reefrun, protein skimmer, reefmatt, reefATO + kit), Apart from that accessories what other accessories do I have to buy?
That is a really nice start. You got most the big things out of the way. Tough question though, as there are always more things “little things” you’ll need or want. To name a few: test kits, way to measure salinity, salt, rodi unit, a controller is nice (i.e., apex), heaters, buckets/water storage containers, extra utility pumps, fish food, the list goes on….but take it slow. Get your system setup first and decide what you need as you go.
