I really enjoyed the look behind the scenes at what the course staff have to do to prepare for a tournament. I've worked in every aspect of the golf business in the past (golf course maintenance, outside operations, assistant professional), with many of those years at a 54 hole facility that has hosted Korn Ferry Tour events (was Nike Tour at the time), the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic and has hosted a Champions Tour event for over 20 years now, so I know how much work goes into preparing for large events. And yes, that includes 4AM starts on tournament days.
Absolutely amazing i wld love to be a part of this production team. Great job. Sooo cool to see behind the scenes. Watching it on tv makes it look like its sooo easy.
They’re playing for a 25 million dollar purse. We’re more than likely playing for who buys beers after the round lol. I managed a pro shop, for 6 years at one of our city courses in Baltimore, and our maintenance guys were savages lol. They couldn’t give less f*cks
I will never understand why the Players is not considered a major, especially considering how the LPGA has 5 majors. I my mind, Rickie Fowler is a major champion.
If we could do these for EVERY tournament you will really be onto something.
