got the opportunity to attend the BMW Championship this past weekend - Sahith was without a doubt one of the friendliest players on tour and gave high fives to several young fans and made their day. Class act who I'll be rooting for going forward!
As Mexican American, this hit y’all!! So proud (& emotional) this country has story like this. This kid hit the lottery with his parents. So so proud to be an American and happy to call this family OURS
I grew up playing against Sahith in junior golf. Super humble kid and everyone knew he was going to be good. His dad is super nice and was always super friendly to me and my dad when we talked to them! Can't say enough good things about them.
Great video, what a role model family? Parenting on purpose, giving the child the right values and opportunities. And then they come together over a meal and the family becomes one. And the thankfulness Theegala has for his Parents and then the humility he shows, how could you not be a fan?
I had the opportunity to meet him at the Vaspar last year in the Wednesday ProAm. What a great and engaging young man. He's a true ballstriker. It was a great experience as a caddie with him and Andrew Putman. I'm a fan and watch his results every week, waiting for that 1st win. Nothing but the best for this young man and his family.
Thank you for filming us and such a so nice pro ,my kids so happy when we met you at el prado Hope have a great next season and get win on pga tour !see you soon
2022 my friend made it into the Barracuda Championship. He's paired two rounds with this man Sahith Theegala. Sahith's family were his biggest supporters this day, so great to see the golfer he's become. So much talent in this man, and was never down on himself the whole day, must watch live.
I got to walk with Theegala as a standard bearer for the last round of this years US Open and it was amazing, I have played his home course about 15 times and the North and South courses are so much fun
Wonderful family! Sahith seems to always be smiling. Knows his hard work paid off. More than that he knows he has been blessed. Because of that he just seems to attack life. He is a product of his mom and dad. I'm very proud of him.
That work ethic and respect can only be given by strong role models. It’s amazing how grounded he is considering all the success he had from a young age. A lot of people let it get to their head but not him. Really root for him in all comps I see him in.
An amazing story about Theegala. With his dedication in the game, it's a matter of time he will break thru to the winners circle and with alot of talent. Pulling for you Theegala
Could have met Sahith at Napa Valley Country Club, pointed him out to my dad as he was leaving the range saying it looked like Sahith Theegala, if I knew it was I woulda tried shaking his hand. 🤝 Hello Sahith!
After growing up in the US, he still thinks about the game in India. I like this thing about him. Here in India, this sport is still considered "out of reach" and "elitist". We need folks like him to show it is not the case!
I watched him a bit at the BMW. He seems like a really cool dude. I felt bad he bogeyed 18 on Sunday. Others were bogeying it too. He’ll get it next time.
What an asset to the PGA. Great person. Fun to watch play.

Theegala and his family are life goals. Love this crew! (Loved seeing them on Full Swing as well!)
Sahith grew on me in Full Swing but this has made me a true fan of his. What a great player and overall human being!

Gotta love sahith's father! Lively and has good upbeat energy and a huge supporter
Every kid deserves a family like his ❤
Couldn't agree more.

Total class act! Great person and a great family!! The sky is the limit. Pulling for him. 🙏
The boy in Pikachu t-shirt is my son, he got a signed golf ball from Theegala that day, I am so surprised to see him in this documentary.
I love his Dad getting so hype for him! I'd be doing the same, what a player.
Definitely one of my top 5 favorite still on PGA. This guy is an inspiration. Love his passion!

Need more of these player insight videos!!! So good to see what goes on behind the scenes in their lives to get them to where they are.
This is a great opportunity, to be able to pave the way for future minority golfers. Definitely wish this Theegala the best, very interesting.
Love the respect he has for his family. Special person, player and special family.
This guy is pure class, so kind and very good at what he does. Exemplary human.
What a fantastic story, thanks for doing this spotlight. Huge fan now.

AND NOW HE'S WON
Its inspriational as a parent and a golfer to see this story. What a family! So happy they were rewarded with Sahith.
What a guy. Love watching him play!
Many Majors in his future. Loves his fans and true to the sport.
This guy is so chill, big fan of him! His family also seems so proud of him and is so sweet!
This guy literally is what the PGA needs and he should be more front and centre regularly each event that hes in, as much as the top ranked guys are.
Gonna have a lot of new fans from this. Loved it.

Pops is fired up😎!

Sahith got his first win on tour only a few weeks ago. Just after the release of this video. Congrats Theegala!
Hovland, Theegala & Meronk are the future
I have not met one Indian lady who can not cook, and there cuisine is fantastic
Getting emotional in his parents driveway... Home is everything...
Great guy, great fam.
yo his dad is the TOP G 👑 Life Goals ❤
I love this this is a great story
His dad knew he’s gonna be a champion
What a Beauty!
How can ya not like this guy?
If he becomes a legend. Biopic is on the cards
What a cool story and family. Classic American immigrant success story. He’s lucky parents don’t seem very pushy, just the right amount of support
Although not the decisive factor, where one grew up seems to play a major influence in one's "success" in life.
Grew up playing on El Prado lies… no wonder his recovery game is so good
That’s a proud papa!!!!
I watched him a bit at the BMW. He seems like a really cool dude. I felt bad he bogeyed 18 on Sunday. Others were bogeying it too. He’ll get it next time.
